If Lashley Returns, Could He and Steiner Both Be in the MEM?

Everybody knows that Bobby Lashley and Scott Steiners last fued was against eachother.It was a very intense fued involving Scott sexually harassing Bobby's wife.So how can TNA just have Bobby show up and be with the MEM like it never happened?This is the reason that i dont think Bobby will just show up a part of the MEM.What do u think?

A number of wrestlers have been allies then enemies, then allies again since the beginning of wrestling time.

The Rock and Mick Foley
Shawn Michaels and Triple H
Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage

The list can go on and on. This is no different here.

Also, all wrestling promotions have dropped gimmicks and storylines before, sometimes right in the middle of them being played out.

The answer is simple: TNA doesn't really have a good track of keeping storyline canons continuous. Want an idea of what I mean?

2010

June 17th- Abyss chokeslams Hardy off of the stage and through a table

June 24th- Abyss tells Hogan "they" are coming and then chokes him while shoving Hogan's ring down his throat. Later on Hogan hits Abyss with a chair

July 1st- Hogan and Abyss brawl. Hardy makes the save by giving Abyss the twist of fate and a senton. Later Abyss and Hardy have a match full of hatred induced violence.

July 8th- Hardy and Mr. Anderson double team Abyss and hit him with a chair

Aug 19th- Hardy and Abyss have a nearly 5 minute backstage brawl

Oct 7th- Abyss eliminates Jarrett and Hardy from a battle royal costing them "100,000 dollars"

Oct 10th- SWERVE!!!!

Cheap swerve tactics without any deep planning or care for continuity. It's a constant tale of swerves for the sake of swerves. You are now entering the Russo Zone.

Wrestling is about the now, the past & future mean nothing as far as storylines go with allies or enermies, take a look at history, thing is Steiner is face now back then he was heel and they're joining for a common goal/good so it's easily explained, and both have been world champions so it's not hard for it to happen if Lashley does return.

steiner fits because he was in the MEM before. lashley kinda fits because he was basically a maineventer in wwe. the person i dont get is crimson? how does he fit in. i mean i get he's more of a messenger and a lower level guy but why would angle pick him and red to help him? i think this whole immortal/fourtune v the new "they"/MEM feud would have gone alot better if the ppl hogan brought in (like hardy, anderson, maybe rvd) and some new comers (like pope) would have taken over tna and have the "originals" (like styles and beer money) and MEM (guys like angle and booker who were there for a decent amount of time) support dixie.

the STEINER & LahHLeY fued is nothing like the 10-10-10 swerve.it was personal and extremely intense...seriously nobody thinks that this will be an issue in the storyline?

What does it matter? Yeah Russo's booking and storytelling always has plotholes but this happens in prowrestling all the time. And a situation like this happens in reality. Lashley/Steiner feud was in 09. It's now 2011. In real life doesn't time heal all wounds? Plus in reality, don't people with issues always put things behind them and come together and put their differences aside for a common cause? As far as I'm concerned, Lashley has unfinished business with Bischoff since the last time Lashley was on TNA tv, Bischoff fired him and had him escorted out of the building. So with that said, it leaves him and Steiner on the same page against Bischoff, Flair, Hogan and the rest of Immortal.

I still don't understand why these things matter to people. You watch professional wrestling — since when does that require having the memory of a chimpanzee? Believe me, the memory of a goldfish would ultimately allow you to enjoy the product more.

Feuds, no matter how personal, eventually (in almost every case) come to resolution, and once enemies are often united under the same banner to fight a common enemy, or to simply resolve their differences.

Why does it matter? Idk, let me think. Instead of half-ass slapping storylines together you can have the people you hire to come up with creative and intelligent storylines that don't completely take a shit over the previous canon. It's fans like that which make situations like this happen because everyone just takes it as it comes and shrugs it off their shoulder. Movies in Hollywood get criticized for bad writing by fans and critics. Books get criticized. Hell, video games get criticized. Yet in wrestling it's suddenly okay to have piss poor writing by fan standards? Maybe I'm a little more passionate about the art of wrestling cause I'm looking to have a career in it but the tolerance and stupidity of some wrestling fans amazes me. Bad writing is bad writing if it's wrestling or not; don't defend what makes the products you watch be inferior.

I don't know where the internet got Lashley's name from in the 1st place. I mean Lashley even said it himself he is trying to sign on to have a MMA fight in March.
