Terrific. Batista steals the show. No spoilers. On par with the first but still very fresh.

Just got home from seeing it. Great movie and kind of hard to compare to the first in a good way. Batista does indeed steal the show.

Watched it in the D-box seats that tilt and shake. Had a great time, very fun movie. Terrific lines throughout.

Marvel does it yet again. These guys just know how to make great comic book movies. Don't get me wrong, it's not as good as the first one and it doesn't reach the heights of some of the better MCU entries such as Winter Soldier, Civil War, and Avengers, but it is a very solid/good movie. It's not bad by any means. I think that they over did it a bit with the comedy. Batista was surprisingly good in this movie. He was actually better here than in the first one. What stole the show for me though was Michael Rooker as Yandu. I won't spoil anything but that man deserves award consideration for best supporting actor for this performance. It was great.

All in all yet another solid entry into the MCU. Yet another good above average movie for the franchise that keeps turning out hit after hit. I hope DC is paying attention. If I gave this movie a letter grade it would be a B+. It's definitely worth the price of admission.

I liked it. I don't think it comes close to the first film, but I never expected it to. The first one, to me, is Marvel's best film. I thought Michael Rooker stole the show, but Drax was good, too.

It's the first done to lesser effect and nearly 30 minutes longer.

Biggest difference for me had to be the quality of dialogue. There wasn't a bad or boring stretch of dialogue in the first one, can't say the same here. Funny thing is, the dialogue in this film was better than 90% of comicbook films.
