Fun Thread: Which WWE Superstar would you like to see do "Celebrity Apprentice"

I am a fan of both WWE and "The Celebrity Apprentice"

Donald Trump has had an association with WWE in the past. He has hosted WMIV and WM V at Trump Plaza, and was also involved in the "Battle Of The Billionaires" storyline at WM23. I also would not be surprised if Trump is inducted in the WWE HoF Celebrity Wing (he has done more for WWE than Drew Carey has).

Maria appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice", ironically, on the same season as Bill Goldberg. Also, Vince McMahon himself appeared as an advisor in one episode.

So, I was wondering, which WWE person, past or present, would you like to see appear as a contestant on "Celebrity Apprentice" one season?

I imagine, at the moment, most current superstars are ruled out, because of the WWE's schedule, and to do CA, a WWE superstar would have to be unavailable for a number of weeks (even if they are eliminated early).

Last year, I wanted to see Chris Jericho be on it, since he did "Dancing With The Stars", but he is back in WWE now, so it won't happen soon.

I doubt they would have someone who they rarely use (such as Drew McIntrye or John Morrison these days), since they aren't well-known enough.

I think, in the immediate future, my picks would be either Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Trish Stratus or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. All of these four are available, and could take time out to promote WWE on the show.

I am leaning towards Mick Foley, as he is from New York, and he could bring a sense of humour and interest to the show.

So, my question is, who from WWE, past or present, do you think will be a future candidate on "Celebrity Apprentice"? Also, if the WWE scheduling wasn't a factor, who from the current roster would you want to see do the show?

Chris Jericho or The Miz are naturals for "reality" shows, for obvious reasons.

Go old school and put Ric Flair in one of those Apprentise shows. Of course Mick Foley would be entertaining as well.

Put Vince McMahon in there (or one of the McMahons - including HHH) just so Trump can fire them...

Anything involving Mick Foley is always really entertaining and hilarious, Rock and Y2J would be aweosme on it as well.

My pick however, would be the Miz, in real life interviews and talk shows etc he is always great, very funny, extremely entertaining and promotes the WWE product better than anybody. I think with his exuberant personality he would do really well on the show and would have a wider appeal than most WWE superstars.

I would love to see one of my boys Zack Ryder or Santino on there. If they stayed in character it would be great. They would drive people insane. That's good T.V. right there.

I have to be honest, I've never watched Celebrity Apprentice. I do understand how the show works, but only through various clips I've seen on other shows. Based on my limited knowledge of this particular reality series, I agree with the OP; Mick Foley would be a great pick to be a contestant. Out of everyone who has already been named in this thread, Mick would have to be the best choice (IMHO).

Based on pure business sense, I'd think that Glenn Jacobs (Kane) would do well on the show. Obviously that wouldn't really mesh well with his wrestling persona, however. You can't have a guy like Kane on WWE programs as the monster he portrays, and then have him take off the mask (literally & figuratively) and be the "mild mannered" Glenn Jacobs while on Mr. Trump's show. Plus there's the scheduling conflicts, like the OP already mentioned. If Celebrity Apprentice is still running when Kane retires, he might be a great fit on the show.

John Bradshaw Layfield would be another great contestant for the show. I don't know a whole lot about JBL's business acumen (or Kane's, for that matter), but it seems that he definitely has his head screwed on right when it comes to business-sense (investments, etc). Both JBL & Kane (at least to me) seem like they would be able to make great business decisions, based on the limited knowledge I have of both of them. Again, this is all really just based on their appearances on the news channels...and from what I understand, both of them have made wise investments in the past.

This is a bit off-topic, but didn't JBL have an on-screen job with MSNBC or something? I don't remember exactly what his role was on the show (again, another show I never watched), I'm not even sure if MSNBC is the right network. The only thing I really do remember is the reason he was fired. If memory serves, it was because of that incident in Germany, when JBL was doing a Nazi salute and goose-stepping across the ring apron during a match. What a goof, I wonder if that was his idea alone (or if someone in the back told him that it would be a good idea to get heat).

For pure comedic purposes, The Iron Sheik would be HILARIOUS on Celebrity Apprentice. The guy comes across as completely insane, and The Sheik would definitely get people like me (who have never watched the show before) to tune in! If you've never heard/seen Sheik on the Howard Stern show, do yourself a favor and find some stuff. It's absolutely priceless.

Last, but not least, I can't believe everyone missed the OBVIOUS pick, The Great Khali! LOL
