Now after that fake IPL shit, this is some real cricket.

India vs Pakistan is bigger than Ashes.

I'd probably consider Australia/England to be the top prospects. For possible the first time ever, India's bowling appears to be stronger that the batting (du to a weak middle order and no Ishant Sharma).

Haven't there been articles about Aussie players boycotting the Ashes if the current pay dispute is not resolved?

Thank God that there's no Ishant Sharma. A bowler with economy rate being above 7 or even 8. I still don't get why he's given so much chances.

Bumrah and Bhuvi seem to be good. Not sure about Umesh Yadav. Still, I would prefer Umesh over Shami. India should at least go through the group stage if not win it. Still angry about Gambhir not getting a chance. :bringit:

The main reason why Gambhir is not in is that we already have three openers. I am more surprised that Raina is not in the squad. He could be better in the middle order.

He could come out later instead of opening. Which would've provided some more strength to middle order.

The way warm-up matches and England-South Africa series are going suggests that 300 is almost confirmed in almost every match.

Yeah pretty much they have. How far it will go is anyone's guess, but I reckon the players don't have as much leverage here as other situations like this, so I'd expect to see them play. The players association, from what I understand, turned down a 25% increase in salary by 2021 and then another 18% for the period after that. If I've got that right then jeez Louis, there could be a long strike, or both are just playing hard ball at the moment.

When one bowler is bowling with economy rate almost equal to 9 and others are easily bowling atleast below 6, it says a lot about that bowler.

Nice warm up game for India today. New Zealand looked weak but I reckon they will bounce back when the real tournament begins as they almost always do in ICC events. They have also had good history playing in England so that can come in good for them.

Two more upsets yesterday with Bangladesh beating NZ and Afghanistan beating WI (not in the CT).

Hopefully, we get a full game between Eng and Aus today.

Can Pandya quit bowling? Or actually learn bowling?
