Bring back the kliq! Please?

Occasional Pre-Show
I just think the WWE should just bring back "The Infamous" Kliq.

Scott Hall (Razor Ramon): Former WWF/E IC champ, Former WCW Tag champ, US champ, TV champ.

Kevin Nash (Diesel): Former WWF/E World champ, IC champ, Tag champ, former WCW World champ, Tag champ.

Triple H ( Hunter Hurst Helmsley): Former (13X) WWF/E World champ, (5X) IC champ, (2X) European champ, (1X) Tag champ, former ('97) "King of the Ring", and married to Stephanie McMahon/WWE.

Shawn Michaels aka HBK: Former WWF/E World champ, IC champ, European champ, Tag champ.

Sean Waltman (The 1-2-3 Kid/Syxx/X-Pac/Syxx-Pac): Former WWF/E European champ, Tag champ, Lightweight champ, former WCW Crusierweight champ, Tag champ, NWA-TNA Tag champ.

Justin Credible (Aldo Montoya): Former ECW World Champ, TV champ? (can't remember right now), Tag champ, former WWE Hardcore champ.

I know the cliq was a "backstage faction/group" and all. But the cliq played a very big part of the WWF era in the 90's. And play a real big role 'behind the scenes", with the real-life fued between Shawn Michaels & Bret Hart (And Vince Mcmahon leading into the Montrel thing & Bret leaving for WCW)

But the cliq is my PERSONAL favorite faction/group/stable ever in wrestling! All of them between the WWF/E, WCW, ECW, TNA era's. There should bring them all back on one company (the WWE), and have them all on one brand (mostly likely RAW). Or form a newer cilq with HBK & HHH as the leaders, since they stayed in WWF/E though the "Monday Night Wars". But I guess Scott Hall & Kevin Nash were "The Father Figures" of the cliq because of there age's.

The WWE teased a kliq reunion back in early 2003, right before Triple H started his three month fued with "the Diesel" Kevin Nash. But the WWE never ran with it any longer.

1. Scott Hall: On the mic, not/never the ring.

2. Kevin Nash: The Enforcer

3. Triple H: The Leader

4. Shawn Michaels: Triple H's right-hand-man

5. X/Syxx-Pac: The "Avengeing Angel" of the kliq

6. Justin Credible: ??? There jobber or fall man???

What do you think about this?

No... Why should they? All it would be is a worse version of todays dx... All of these guys are older and shouldn't be doing things that they were doing in their late 20s. It's stupid for them to. Have you even seen scott hall lately? He looks like crap. There is no way that they would bring any of these guys back, and there is no reason to.

I love this idea, and I would even make it bigger than how you have it. The only thing is, it’s just way too late. Here’s how I would do it though if it were 5 years or so ago.

Raw – DX
Triple H (WWE Champ)
Shawn Michaels (Manager)
Road Dogg
Billy Gunn

Smackdown – nWo
Scott Hall (World Champ…finally)
Hulk Hogan (Manager)
Kevin Nash
Big Show

ECW – X-Factor
X-Pac (ECW Champ…finally a “World” Title)
Justin Credible
Albert
Rick Rude (Rest In Peace)

Three Divisions, one Stable, the Kliq. This Stable, with a crazy amount of Power, could show up on any of the three shows and just go crazy. Something like this can’t possibly happen now, mainly because of age. It would be nice, but let’s face it, the Clique is the greatest Stable never to be on Television.

*sigh*

This is a terrible idea. Half of those guys are out of shape and would demand high salaries anyway. With the economy in shambles, do you really think Vince is going to throw out that kind of cash? No. Vince is dedicated to pushing new talent these days (so it seems), and this would just be another major setback for the industry.

ah the kliq i would love to have seen it happen but unfortunatly big bubba paradox is right they r way to old scott hall (one of my favs) looks like crap and nash is to old i would like to see them bring back dx with hhh, hbk, syxpac and the outlaws that would be great maybe have hall and nash me manager types that dont wrestle but one thing is for sure the wwe needs to do somthing off the map somthing crazy and unpredictable and "shock" the fans maybe recruit these old dx guys and have them run a muck or bring in some new fresh talent and catapult them to the top i personally would like to see mvp beat orton on a monday night before ss and face cena that way when cena wins it doesnt destroy ortons heel run and gives us a chance to see mvp as champ to see if itd work
definatly bring back dx but only if u can get waltman and the outlaws

1. 5 years ago...Hall, well he looked kind of like he does now. And he was having problems. And people complain about Hardy being given a World Title? You have got to be kidding me. I think Hall is one of the most entertaining guys in the history of the business, but there's no way he is in shape to get a world belt 5 years ago.

2. I hope this is a joke...because Hogan would be the most ridiculously overpaid manager in history. Hogan commands a lot of green, and if he's getting paid that much...he's getting in the ring. You don't have the biggest talent in the history of the sport managing a guy who is in worse shape than the guy slated to manage.

3. When has X-Pac ever been worthy of a World Title. Heck...even a "world title"? X-Pac is a scrapper who does a lot of kung-fu kind of stuff...but he's no face of a company...nor a brand...and he definitely wasn't world title material in 2004.

4. Um, Rick Rude died in 1999. What would be the logic of putting a guy who has been dead for 5 years in a stable?

This.

Kevin Nash only has at most a year left... to live.

Scott Hall only has at most a week or so.

Sean Waltman has probably offed himself already.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels still do work with eachother, with every new Degeneration X reunion. Still best friends back stage and what not. Off screen, I assume Shawn Michaels is more solitary now, living his last few years in the ring, helping the newer guys. triple H is probably a professional backstage, helping all the young talent get better in a company he will control one day.

Shoot, Vince throwing around cash is What Vince McMahon does in his spare time next to play with his grandchildren dawg. You see how McMahon took a BIG RISK in createing the now dead XFL football right? I'm surprised he didn't invest in buying or co-owning a NFL team yet. WOW.

:twak:

The XFL was back when the economy wasn't bad and WWF was more popular than ever. And no...Vince doesn't just throw cash around. That's why he let Bret go in 97...that's why he's cut some WWE staff in the last two years. He's a BUSINESSMAN. This would not be good for business. There is NO payoff in paying high salaries to washed up wrestlers.

Right on man! You got some sence! But I was talking about the "Original" Kliq dawg. Just those six guys. And have them all on one brand (which will be RAW). With there own kliq logos and T-Shirts, jerseys, and stuff like that to that nature.

Not the guys affiliated with the Kliq. Like guys like Hogan, Big Show, William Regal, nor A-Train. Just think about it?

I know what you meant. And it's a fiscally horrible idea. Nash is under contract with TNA. Hall is old. Pac is...I don't know. All are vets that would command a high salary. The ratings would go down because the product would be stale in the long-run. WWE would lose money.

There is absolutely NOTHING that would be good about this, dude. Failure.

I loved what King Patrick had to say... Good example but like you said 5 years to late!

AN IDEA
Have the younger talent represent a new Kliq. Obvious the real kliq was backstage and real. But have the younger guys bring to light that the old guys aren't running the show anymore. Bring up the wrestlers that aren't with the company to prove that the kliq is washed up. With out getting to detailed, just develop the story from there.

My version of the new kliq would be:
John Morrison: for obvious reason my opinion and what I've read in other threads he reminds a lot of us of the HBK of old.
Edge and Christian: There are your two mouth pieces. They aren't that young but they still have longevity to make this work. They are just talented entertainers!
Chris Masters: He can be your enforcer that stands around and looks good
Dolph Ziggler: He has potential to be your scott hall type character.

Obviously these guys probable aren't great friends in real life, which is what actually made the kliq a real stable. But for entertainment reasons this is my opinion on a new kliq.

Although it would be nice to see, its true...these guys are too old to actually make a whole stable and invest in them long time...what i think they should do is have like maybe a 3 month rivalry between dx(hhh & hbk) against the nWo(hall & nash), with x-pac being stuck in the middle since he was in both(the real nWo, not the wwe version)....i know this was mentioned in Hall's shoot interview but i thought about this before i heard it but i digress...either way after the rivalry is over, they come together and become a force, maybe just for a night, like at survivor series or something...i know it probably wont happen but thats how i would like to see it happen

Two things wrong. Some of those original Kliq guys are ever coming back. And half those guys demand high salaries. But I like the idea.

Why do people miss the Kliq being together? They never had the same alignment to begin with. HBK, Razor Ramon and Aldo Montoya were faces while the Kid, Diesel and Hunter Hearst Helmsley were heels. Montoya and the Kid were jobbers while HHH was a jobber to the stars. Diesel was feuding with Shawn Michaels and Razor was feuding with the Kid/Goldust.

People speak like this guys had some kind of continuity in the ring when they didn't. How can you miss these guys backstage. Did you hangout with them backstage? What's there to miss about a "Kliq" in which half of them were irrelevant in 1996 and only HBK and HHH are relevant now?

I would like to see the Kliq come back but only for a short time. But the problem with bringing back the Kilq is that they'll want high salaries, booking power, and Hall and Nash just way to old to be wrestling now. Plus I don't think a lot of wrestlers would be too happy about having the Kliq back.
