This is a speculation thread for the 2010 Hall of Fame for the National Hockey League. After a great crop went in this year, the NHL looks to put forth another incredible selection next year. Out of the players that are eligible, who would you want to see in the Hall of Fame in 2010?
My pick has to be Pavel Bure. My favourite player of all time, he was a hero when I was a kid in Vancouver, and I still wear my Bure jersey to hockey games. Let us look at some of his stats.
He entered the NHL out of the Red Army team from Russia, and in his first year, he won the Calder Trophy for rookie of the year. He was the best scorer in the NHL for three years, winning the Maurice Richard trophy twice.
In the Olympics, he never won Gold, but he did win a Silver and a Bronze. He also never won the Stanley Cup, but was one game away in 1994.
After being an All Star six times, the Russian Rocket deserves his seat in the NHL Hall of Fame.
