WWE has released (so far) some developmental talent, Balls Mahoney, and Dave Taylor.

Some might be coming soon, as well.

Your thoughts?

Personally, I don't really care lol. The developmental guy, no clue who he is, so I don't know what I'm missing out on. Taylor hasn't even existed, basically, and Mahoney was terrible and just a glorified Hacksaw-comedy guy anyway.

Eh I don't think these guys matter. I think all original ECW wrestlers that are currently on the rosters have nothing to do these days. None of this matter though, they're getting rid of guys and hiring more guys such as "bodyguards" who probably will be just as useless in the long run (though we'll have to see).

I can see them getting rid of more than whats announced so far. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Drew Macintyre, what the hell has that guy done anyways?! I also see one of the Giants leaving, maybe V or Snitzky, but thats just wishful thinking. A few more Develomentals and maybe one or two roster cuts, thats aboot it...

Not Surprised by Mahoney and Taylor.I expect alot of development talent to be relased.Look at the FCW roster-Its packed to the brim. Strange thing is There Relasing alot when those superstars could go to ECW and build up the numbers-Talyor,If fiven a decent gimmick,could have given the young guys experience.Mahoney-well he was barely over and was a horrible worker-Did the Kelly Kelly angle even finish?I think not.Wise move on Mahoney,Taylor could have filled a different role(Trainer for example)

Yeah, they could've sent Taylor down to FCW or something.

McIntyre, I completely agree, he's either becoming a legit FCW guy or being fired. He's not coming back to the actual roster.

Even if its not by "firing", I think Torrie and Candice won't be coming back either due to their injuries.

Another name to throw into the hat, who may possibly be released, but its just blind speculation at this point in the game....Charlie Haas. I mean, this guy can't even find himself on Heat sometimes.

What about Helms? If his injury is still the same it was before, I don't see them keeping him too long. He's been out for such a long time that I'm surprised they haven't done it already...unless there's some sort of reassurance that, in time, he'll be "good as news", and they don't want him jumping ship over to TNA.

I don't think we have to worry about any shocking realeses to occur. The WWE is just getting rid of the nobodys, the guys we could care less about. Superstars I'd like to be released are. . .

Snitsky: WWE must have realised by now that no one gives a damn about him, he's a big ugly waste of space and is almost as talentless as Khali.

Boogeyman: WWE needs to get rid of childish humour characters, I can't stand them they take up too much air time besides, Boogeyman has been out for a while, most people have forgotten about him.

Val Venis: What a waste of a career, he's a decent wrestler but he's been jobbing for so long now that there's just no way out of it.

Chuck Palumbo: Uhm... how many times can this guy keep coming back?! I'm not intrested in him in the slightest. Release him . . . FOR GOOD!!

Hornswoggle: Uhhh . . . . WWE is no place for a leprachaun. Need I say more ? ( He won't be released though.)

Nunzio: Another jobber that no one cares about.

Big Daddy V: How many big men do you need ? Khali, Big Show, Mark Henry etc. Big Vis will just be overshadowed now that Big Show is back. Release him.

Charlie Haas: Good Wrestler but he's nothing without Shelton.

Have to agree with Charlie Haas. Great wrestler but not even a mask can make me enjoy his matches. Without Shelton he's nothing.

I hope Drew mcIntyre doesnt go, because I kind of expected him to be in Regal's stable, along with the higlanders and Burchill, but thats probably just wishful thinking on my part. So if he's going, then you may as well write off most of FCW, including Seamus O Shaughnessy (sp?), a big guy with charisma who could def. have done well on the main roster, especially ECW.

I think Nuzio's time is up, Big Daddy V wont be able to lose the weight in time, and as much as I rate Kenny Dykstra, I think he could be gone too. I have to agree with 'The Wabbit', they couldve used FCW to build the ECW roster up, but they only have an hour long show so there's little scope to cram more in to that hour.

Boogeyman will possibly go, merchandise sales wont drop too much!

There is no point keeping them on the pay roll if neither has anything to offer, or isn't on TYV.

Balls had talent. 10 years ago. But now he's overweight and and ugly. There is nothing WWE can really do with him now.

Same with Dave Taylor. He's in his 50's. But he looks older, has no personality, and is English. If WWE aren't going to push somebody like Paul Brichill. Then they're not going to push the ancient Taylor. He too was good 10 years ago. But now he walks like a shorter Kevin Nash. He's a waste of money.

I'm not shocked that Taylor and Balls were let go. Neither one of them have been on TV in months, and they really didn't make a big impact while they were on TV. Taylor was as good as gone as soon as Regal got drafted to Raw, and Balls was never that great to begin with. He was only over because he was an ECW Original, but no one seems to really care about them anymore. It's obvious that WWE will be trimming the fat in the next couple of weeks, and let's hope they cut the rosters down considerably. They have WAY too many people.

Im surprised Taylor was released and ntot just sent down to FCW as a trainer. Hes proven in the past how good he is at training guys (McGuinnes, CM Punk etc)

I dont care that hes gone off Smackdown, it was to be expected since hes not that great in the ring now but hed still be useful as a trainer imo.
