Yea i hope he done what Federline done, perhaps maybe having a bit of a better match, but actually being a full on wrestler is a bad idea. Maybe another angle with Cena would be good- with Cena as the heel, with a few rap battles (dont like rap myself) could be good.
Plus he is a much bigger star then Federline and anything he does gets on almost all the news stations so it would be good for the WWE. |

I can't see anything coming from this, it could be a promotional thing, he gets air time for promoting his new CD, while he attracts viewers. It could work both ways. I just hope he doesn't step in a ring so he doesn't embarrass himself. It might bring publicity, and if thats when McMahon wants, Eminem could be the right person to do it. But the only thing i see coming from this is air time promoting his CD, while he attracts audience, and gets more publicity. Like an incest story line isn't enough?

First its the Pacman incident in TNA, now Eminem, has WWE gone low enough to attract fans these days?
In all honesty, sure Eminem is a big rap artist who all emo white kids who dress black look up to, but this actually won't attract more fans to tune in. I see him just doing a feud with Cena over who has the better white rapper gimmick, which will be horrible to some, entertaining to others. Vince or whoever thought this will be in hot water. But like the article says its from a gossip site, so I will say it is a rumor, and nothing else. -Sharp

This is a load of crap IMO, there were rumours flying around the past couple of months that Britney Spears has made a deal with WWE even though she is a total nutcase these days, and is not in any shape or form to be a part of the WWE madness.
I would probably believe this if it was 2003 and John Cena was still rapping. Eminem would make a shocking appearance and challenge Cena at WrestleMania because he thinks Cena is a rip-off of him. It would have been great publicity for WWE, even more so than Donald Trump and Vince last year, but I wouldn't be looking forward to it.

LOL Sharpshooter says "emo white kids" only listen to Eminem. That's bullshit, I totally forgot I was emo, damn, just didn't remember...
...If you actually knew anything about him you would know a good bit of his audience is teenagers which WWE would use to try and draw more viewers. Honestly, I think the whole article is bullshit and won't believe it until they get more news on it. I knew he had a CD coming out soon so it could be a cheap way to advertise it and get WWE more public notice. But seriously WWE, if you would take your heads out of each others asses and actually think about what the business is for putting on good ENTERTAINMENT and WRESTLING. You would not have enough problems drawing enough viewers based on that instead of pointless celebrities coming in to attract a ratings boost that will last 2 weeks. Well back to cutting myself while I listen to cleaning out my closet.. ![]()

I listen to Eminem and his work, and I never think of cutting myself to relieve pain. It was just my opinion on how I view the demographics of Eminem's music. The bolded part just brings up irony. Don't know why, but it just does. -Sharp

I know everyone is saying that this is a bad idea BUT lets give this a chance.
Firstly, bringing him in would boost the ratings to around the 3.9 mark. That would be huge. Secondly, if he is training and as I have read "is taking this very seriously and really wants to make a go of it", then who are we to say he can't do it. Hell, he can't be worse than Cena at wrestling. (Still like Cena tho, just needs a few more moves) Thirdly, it would be a huge shock to the industry, and the world to have Eminem turn up at RAW or even WrestleMania. IMO, if he really tries hard and actually gets some class training behind him, then he can make a real go of this. I'd love to see him fued with Cena, god imagine the crowd. Obviously, this is not concrete as it is only a rumor. But hell, the WWE were serious in wanting to add Britney Spears to the Kevin Federline storyline. (BTW, he did an awesome job in his run, love to see him return). Either way, this can only help the WWE a lot, or they could muck it up and it may hurt them. Bring on Eminem! |

This is good for Slim Shady. I heard he is actually doing bad these days ever since his friend Proof died. All he does is stay in the house and play video games. Also has writers block when he tries to write songs when he use to be such a workaholic.
If this gets him back on his feet, I say do it. This is Eminem folks. Not a Pacman Jones or K-FED. We're talking Grammy award winning, platinum albums galore, Eminem. Considering how hes been gone from the bright lights for so long, people are going to want to see him. This could do wonders for the WWE. If they're looking to get those high ratings like they did in the glory days, than this Eminem thing will give them a chance. |

This is good and bad from stand points. Its great from a financial stand point as Eminem is a very High Point celeb and somehow has managed to sell millions.
I'll never understand it, just because I don't like 90% of his music. (a couple songs that weren't complete rap were okay)From a wrestling stand point, this is horrible, because once again its W.W.E. stepping outside of their own roster.. and giving up most likely a ton of television time to an outsider who will never be more talented than your average indy federation wrestler. (K-Fed, anyone) I think, no, I hope, that this will blow over and become nothing. Gawd forbid this actually happens and the storyline somehow involves more of John Cena and his outside of wrestling - rap (wannabe) career. Overall, I hate this idea, because A.) I can't stand rap music.. and B.) I think the television time would be better served to be given to more talent to build them up for the future.. as opposed to boring the shit out of me, watching a wannabe, trying to figure out how to properly apply a sleeperhold. And finally, I don't care if this is Eminem the rapper, or M&M the candy, whoever you consider the guy to be.. he IS NOT a legit Professional Wrestler. He's a glorified t.v. spot, which is only designed to make the Entertainment portion of Wrestling, even more fake.
