WWE Survivor Series: WWE Divas Championship - Eve (c) VS Kaitlyn

Not that anyone really cares, but the Divas Championship will be on the line at Survivor Series. Kaitlyn won a #1 contender match, if you can call it that, against Layla this past Monday on Raw and will face Eve this Sunday for the title.

Aside from the roughly 60 second match between Layla & Kaitlyn this past Monday, match quality among the Divas has been much better than it's been in a very long time. I expect this match to last maybe in the 5 or 6 minute range with Eve ultimately retaining the title. Kaitlyn isn't nearly ready as of yet. She's getting better and isn't nearly as awkward or sloppy as she once was, but she still needs work.

I think Kaitlyn should win it just to mix things up. I honestly forgot all about Eve having the belt. It means squat these days.

If they really want to add just a little hope in the Divas, they will give the belt to AJ. She is at the peak of her career. Girls like Trish and Lita held the belt in their primes. They held it when they were the hottest thing going for their division. Do the same with AJ.

They really can't decide what to do with Eve, can they? She had an aborted program with Zack Ryder and John Cena, right? From there, she got a position as Booker's assistant, somehow trying to compete with and undermine Teddy Long. It seemed to be picking up some steam but since she (out of the blue) won the women's title, that's been abandoned, too. What gives?

At the PPV, I imagine Eve will retain the title, given that Kaitlyn is really a nobody, even for the divas' division. However, if management plans to return Eve to her "executive assistant" role, they might have Kaitlyn take the duke just to free Eve up for her next assignment.

Either way, does it really matter?

Why do we even bother with the Divas Championship, honestly? When it was unified with the Women's Championship, it meant nothing- hell, even before then one could argue it meant nothing. I don't care who wins- I forgot Eve even had it, and Kaitlyn winning it might perhaps be interesting- if you enjoy matches shorter than Ryback's jobber matches.

I somehow missed the number 1 contenders match on RAW, and just when I thought the Divas division was getting some direction it has been all over the place again. I can't really see anything other than EVE retaining here, and I hate to say this but I have to agree with the poster that said why even bother with this title anymore.

I wanna say Eve but my gut is telling me Kaitlyn cause I just have a feeling that the WWE are building towards making Kaitlyn the new face of the divas division. I agree that she still needs some work, but so did Trish Stratus when she became champion, and in time she improved. One could say that Eve should be the division's new leader, but she works much better as a heel than as a face. There's also AJ who I'd like better as the new face of the divas division, but she's never really involved with the division, and I don't see that stopping cause she works much better programmes with the males than the females.

Whoever wins though, I see them going onto feud with AJ over the belt since there's not many new contenders left in the divas division. Eve vs. AJ would probably be the better choice especially as it's heel vs. face here, but Kaitlyn also has some history with AJ that needs settling.

Honestly this match could go either way. If AJ is going to be the next challenger for the champ then I think Kaitlyn wins the belt here, But Kaitlyn still isn't ready to win the belt so with any hope we see Eve retain the title in a solid 6 to 7 minute match. I'll guess Eve but Kaitlyn winning wouldn't surprise me at all.

I would book a 5 month storyline for AJ Lee to win her first Divas Championship.
This Sunday instead of having the divas title match, I would have booked Vickie Guerrero vs. AJ Lee in a No Disqualification Match with the winner earning the GM Spot.
Vickie would win with help from Kaitlyn which would lead to a match between AJ and Kaitlyn (with Vickie Guerrero) at TLC which AJ would eventually win.
For her to be included in the title picture I would make a 15-Diva Royal Rumble Match that could possibly include divas from the past and the present just for AJ to win it and earn a shot at the Divas Title at Wrestlemania. Vickie & Kaitlyn would join forces with Divas Champion Eve. Meanwhile, AJ would recruit Tamina Snuka as her partner.
At Elimination Chamber, a 3 on 2 Handicap Match would occur between this 4 divas and Vickie. During the match, Tamina would leave the ring during the match so then she'll join Vickie and her stable.
At RAW, Vickie would book Tamina vs. AJ Lee with the winner facing Eve at Wrestlemania which AJ would win. After weeks of brawls between Vickie's Stable and AJ, the match would eventually happen.
At WRESTLEMANIA,in AJ's hometown, AJ faces Divas Champion Eve (with Vickie Guerrero). AJ wins with after a 7 minute solid match, but Vickie restarts the match but this time it is going to be a "Vickie's Playground Rules Match" which Eve would go and beat AJ Lee with help from Vickie, Tamina & Kaitlyn. After that, Vince McMahon comes in and announces that Vickie Guerrero is fired from the position of RAW GM and that the match was going to be restarted once again. AJ hits a quick roll up and wins the Divas Title!

Anything but Eve retaining would be huge suprise here...

WWE is high on EVE at the moment and Kaitlyn is not nearly ready for the title. Then again it's just Womens championship and WWE proved in the past that you dont need much readyness for that so I could be wrong but I think that they will want Eve vs AJ for the title at Wrestlemania. Theye are currently only two Divas with some kind of program and wrestlemania is in AJs hometown.

Here's where I'll be heading over to the fridge for a snack. Eve is obviously going to retain. There's absolutely no way Kaitlyn wins the match. She is not ready to be Divas Champion yet and Eve needs to hold onto the belt for a while longer. It isn't the worst they could have come up with, although I have zero interest in the match to be quite honest. I'd rather see Eve win since Kaitlyn is not ready yet and I fully expect that to happen.... However, I doubt that it won't be the worst match of the evening. Eve wins and moves on to her next challenger. It could go on at any given point of the evening other than first or last. I think they will have it be second to last, in between the two world title matches.
