Jesse Sorensen: Future of TNA?

I look at the pictures of Sorensen and all I can see about him is he looks like a mini-Randy Orton....and that's about it. When the only thing you're known for is breaking your neck on PPV it says something about someone. He doesn't even have the charisma of Eric Young to be a long standing comedy character, let alone the future of TNA. Although it always seems to be the easy answer, perhaps a Heel Turn is the way to go for him, because he's just to generic as a bland babyface. Otherwise he needs to work on his in-ring stuff when/if he returns because TNA is his ONLY chance of having a contract with a international wrestling company.

I hope that they leave the title out of the picture and have a "blood feud" so to speak between them (Ion). Have them fight all over the Impact Zone every week for a month or two with a cumulation of Sorenson winning. If he will succeed:

A: People will give a crap about him after that.
B: Show that he has some talent after working with someone for a bit, and being comfortable working with him.
C: Come up with some character.

This being said. He IS generic, looks just like Sam Shaw. Jay Bradley has the cocky heel thing perfected, and has the facial mannerisms to sell stuff. I don't think anything will pan out. I wish they would have kept Nese.

Hey I thought he definitely had inring skill but beyond that fuck no is he an easy future X Division champ? Probably yes. If he hadn't gotten injured he'd have had at least one reign by now. But world champ? No way whatsoever he does not have the mic skills. Or if he does he's been hiding them.

And I liked his little football gimmick. Any gimmick is better than no gimmick that is a philosophy I strongly stand by and I know many of you will disagree with me. But that made him at least somewhat unique. If he didn't have that I probably wouldn't even remember him! Zema has his hairspray, York has his dreads, Jesse had his football...
