Hopefully Joe wins here and they have one last match at Final Resolution, 2 out of 3 falls, where Magnus finally wins the title.

Considering that Magnus has lost to Joe twice for the title I believe, it seems like Joe might pull this one out as well. I like Magnus, but I feel once this feud with Joe is over, he could be put on the back burner.

I agree mostly with Slice of Life here, Joe should win, then next month have some last gimmick match to blow off this feud with Magnus going over(and, hey, maybe Joe moves closer to the main event). Either way this should be a real knock-down, drag-'em-out slugfest, and I think will be the real sleeper match of the night.

I am looking forward to this match. I just don't see Joe losing the title yet. I think Magnus will really put him to the test, but just coming up short. I think Magnus will eventually win the TV title, but not yet. Joe retains.

This should be another good match between these 2. I think there is a small chance of Magnus pulling off the victory here if nothing else just to keep him relevant and give this feud a reason to keep going to end the year. That being said my vote is for Joe to make Magnus tap and move onto his next feud (for the love of god not with the robbies!)

I have a feeling that Magnus walks away with the title here. Personally, I believe TNA needs a fresh start for the TV title and Magnus is a young guy with a good deal of talent. That makes him someone that's pretty much ideal for a fresh start.
To me, Joe is someone that's probably best at ultimately helping to put over younger talent at this point. While Joe himself is pretty young himself, he's someone that's already done everything there is to do in TNA. There's really nothing left for him to accomplish.

I see Magnus winning, although I don't think he should. I still think it's too soon to push him. The main event scene is too stacked for him to go anywhere in the next 3 years.

With all that said I think Joe retains the TV Title. They need a solid TV title division. That will probably be comprised of Joe, Magnus, Anderson, whoever loses out of AJ/Storm/Roode, RVD (i think he drops the X Division title rather quickly) and probably one or two of the Aces & Eights members now that they're slowly being revealed. |

Mixed feelings here. Having the Television Championship defended on a PPV event always seems so stupid to me. It should be exclusive to the television shows, but that is a topic for another thread. I like both guys and the feud has grown interesting as of late. Joe's finally getting booked better again, so I'd like to hope he keeps the belt here. It would be better for him as well as the belt (even though TNA have honestly made it seem kind of worthless) to remain Television Champion for a while. Magnus will hopefully get other shots. I'd like to see him get some titles in the future, but this is bad timing. Should be a good match and it will likely go on in the first half of the evening. I would not be against the feud continuing after this show.... Just not on PPV events if this belt is going to be on the line.
DAGGER'S PREDICTION Samoa Joe retains the Television Championship. |
