Many people on vacation get a speeding ticket while in another state. What do they do after their vacation, they leave the state again to go back home. Then you send in your fine and all is done.

Kaitlyn did not send in her fine, but, she did not try to avoid anything this week. If she was, she would have not been part of the show in Michigan and avoid going into the state.

This discussion should now be over. She got a speeding ticket like thousands of other drivers do regularly, it is now resolved.

As one of the previous posts stated, if you had never drove over the speed limit while driving, you are a better person than millions of other drivers.

I would be one to say this isn't to big of a deal, but then again how hard is it to pay a speeding ticket. It is funny to me how much the divas do get in trouble. It's like girls gone wild over there lol. Anyway here is my thing. My friend just got a speeding ticket for going 110 in a 55. I was pissed at him for that as it is totally unnecessary. I am guilty of speeding at times too, but double the limit? Come on. I live in Pittsburgh and cops live for giving out speeding and parking tickets, and believe me they treat it as a big deal. I find it amusing that they hauled her in for it, but at the same time we all have to pay our tickets why shouldn't she? I don't think anything will happen to her as far as her push goes, but whether we all do it or not speeding can definitely cause some problems on the roads.

People make mistakes and that's just what this was. It's not like she tried to kill someone. Speeding excessively isn't cool and it is dangerous, but at least it wasn't anything worse and no one was hurt. It's all taken care of, hopefully she learns from it and just move on from it. Give it a few months and people will have forgot all about it.

You guys that are ranting on speeders are douches. Speed laws most often exist as a way for law enforcement to "fundraise." It's an easy way to make a couple hundred bucks.

Anyways as far as Kaitlyn goes, she probably just got a speeding ticket and forgot to pay it. They don't call you every week with a friendly reminder. And on top of that, she spends a lot of time away from home. You know when she's there, she's got enough to do that something small like a traffic ticket can get lost in the shuffle. "Oh I'll pay it next week, I got time" probably is what she was thinking and then just forgot about it.

And I must commend you for being such a paragon of virtue, never speeding, how does it feel to be the 1 in a million? Although I actually suspect you're making yourself seem a lot better than you are, it is remarkably easy to drift over the speed limit, I myself have found my speed creeping up, essentially because your foot is slowly but surely dropping, therefore creating more pressure on the accelerator. If, as you say, you have NEVER gone over the speed limit, you truly deserve a medal!
I draw the line at 5 over. I never go any higher over the speed limit than that, and that's just if it's extremely crucial that I get where I am going. I try to plan to leave early enough that going the speed limit will suffice. If you had read my post you would have noticed the part where I said I never speed unless it is an emergency or some sorts. Now if you don't mind, this thread is about Kaitlyn's speeding, not mine. Please stay on topic.

For celebrities, this is so much the more so- it is great advertising for the police to have "WWE Diva Arrested by Michigan Police" on TMZ. If people see that they're arresting celebrities for a few hundred dollars, they're going to take their own obligations that more seriously.
That honestly makes quite a bit of sense. If the officers notice a law being broken by a celebrity then bringing them in would indeed earn them some publicity while at the same time showing the local citizens that they are in fact enforcing the laws. I still say that TMZ is making way too big a deal about it, depending on how fast she was even going. If she was going 70 in a residential area or a school zone that's one thing, but if it was just something like 10 over the limit, then this is not that huge of a deal. Regardless, like I said in my last post, she made a mistake and has admitted that. I think we should all move on to more relevant issues now. WWE would have done something by now so we should clearly move along since they obviously have.

She probably just forgot to pay it, something like that can be pretty easy to forget when you have to worry about tavel plans like car rental, plane tickets, hotel room rental, gym, apperiances, shows among other stuff.

As for some other stuff, Speedometers can be thrown off from stuff like air presser in the tires, diffent wheel and tire size on the car from what it came from the factory with. That's why alot of cops will give a 5MPH buffer on the speed limit.

Also, cops are more likely to ticket an out of state driver for something minor then they are a local. One of the main reasons for this is that out of staters are less likely to stay and go to a hearin to contest tickets so they will just pay the fines.

Someone said about that they arrested her for the press. Which this is a big reason they did it. Get press out that they are actually doing their jobs. It's like that one cop did down in what was it I think Texas, the cop arrested Willie Nelson for having weed. Everyone knows he smokes it, they knew where he would be because of his tour so the cop did it to get press coverage.

As for if WWE is going to do anything, I doubt they will do anything to her because of this. At the most maybe have her job a match or 2. Which if they do like we would notice. They besically don't care about the Divas as it is. Storylines already fall apart and go no where so it's not like we will know if they do anything.

I agree, I don't think this will affect her push at all. I wasn't anything drastic, just a speeding ticket. People get them everyday. Her current push is ok, not the best though.

Man, I was hoping to get something like "Kaitlyn was strip searched before being arrested" or something like that. There goes my morning fun :P.

But no seriously, Kaitlyn's probably going to get nothing more than a slap on the wrist. I highly doubt WWE would even care considering the facts. If she didn't cause any troubles, then that's easy to help WWE over.
