With everything already mentined, the one thing I can add that I'd like to see is wax statues of Edge & Christian (for the benifit of those with flash photography) for a 5 second photo opp. Even better would be animatronic versions of them so they could have different 5 second poses throughout the day.

Sets from Piper's Pit and the old Funeral Parlor segments, old WWE and WCW title belts, LOD shoulder pads, Flair's robes, Savage's sun glasses, there are a lot of memorable props that would make for great exhibits in a physical HOF. I agree that wrestling as a whole isnt big enough for the HOF to exist as a stand alone entity in some tiny town like NFL & MLB, however I think it would do well in a major city that already stands as a tourist attraction, NY, Chi, LA, Atlanta, especially Las Vegas. People may not make a special trip just to see it but there are millions of wrestling fans from different ages who would visit if already there. In fact, I think for a lot of people it might be a deciding factor in picking a vacation spot

The Hall of fame would be great in New Jersey. If something could be worked out with Trump, he can take out one of his crappy casinos. The casino market is drying up and dying. There's sufficient land there, and they can add in restaurants, props, old sets, etc... it would make a lot of sense to put it in Atlantic City.

At Wrestlemania 22, they had pictures of the superstars hanging above on the set, all around the arena, just a few feet below from the roof - I'd like to see something similar for the HOF'ers in a WWE HOF building.
I couldn't get a full image of the arena, but this is what I mean. ![]() I don't really care about anything else for a WWE HOF building, I just think this would be a nice touch for the building.

All of this sounds cool, but I like the wax figures idea; especially with Andre the Giant. This way you could see just how big the guy was and great for photo ops. I think it should also include digital stories, interviews, along with the figures just so you can understand the effect that they had on the business.
I could see a Flair one with his interviews from Georgia and NWA along with clips of his entrances with all the robes. |
