The feud between John Cena and Edge will go down as one of the best of all time(for me at least). It was amazing in every possible way. Their matches and promos were very good(TLC, LMS, the promo before Backlash) and the chemistry they had was unique. And for once everything was done wright. You never knew who was gonna win, you never knew what was gonna happen. Another good thing was that there were big periods of time before they restarted their feud(unlike Cena/Orton) and it was always fresh and interesting. That feud did wonders for both of them it proved Edge was a main eventer and for me cemented Cenas place on the top of the WWE. Everything they said and did to each other seamed real and there were times that I really thought they can't stand each other. But after giving it some thought I can't shake the feeling that there was something missing. Should it have been shorter or longer, should they have had a one on one match at mania, different matches etc. So after saying all this I wanna know what do you guys think(sorry if there are mistakes english isn't my native language)?

John Cena and Edge was definitely one of my favorite feuds. I don't think that either of them had a better rival than the other. The matches they delivered were always good, and it helped both men develop. Cena brought Edge up to the main event, and Edge helped Cena develop better ring skills. It was just good timing for both, and their chemistry was unmatched.
I don't know if there was much missing. I suppose a one on one contest at Wrestlemania would have been good, but even with Big Show added to the match, it was still a good one. I can't really think of anything that was missing. I think the feud went the way it should have.

I think the Cena / Edge feud was great. It wasn’t perfect, but neither was Invasion, and that’s still my favorite storyline of all time…well, the idea at least, not the results. Anyway, I think the only thing missing from the Cena / Edge feud was more use of the Rated R Spinner Belt. One month, the day after SummerSlam 2006 to the day after Unforgiven 2006, was just not enough TV time for me. I think, since its debut, Edge should have just used his belt every single day he was WWE or World Champion.

That feud was definitly one for the ages, but the only thing missing in this rivalry was a match at Wrestlemania, because it definitly had that Wrestlemania vibe, it was even good enough to be a Wrestlemania main event in my opinion......

The feud was definitely a classic feud, it lasted for roughly the first nine months of 2006, their TLC match is probably my favorite singles TLC match and I really enjoyed the match they had at Summerslam of that year. It elevated Edge and I guess Cena also to a brand new level... and Edge helped Cena develop into a better in-ring competitor, so it worked out great behind the scenes as well.
The one thing though that I guess was a bit unfortunate was that it took place in 2006, which in my mind and the mind of a bunch of others was a very weak year in WWE. It was no doubt the highlight of the year though.

What was missing for me, a sense of peril. My main problem with it was the same I got from most Cena feuds at that time, and that is it was too heavily one sided in Cena's favour, not once did I think he was under threat. The same can be said from his feud with Orton, I know it was booked to make Cena look like the underdog, but nobody believed either of those two gents were ever going to get the better of him, at least for long.
This I believe is CM Punks greatest achievement, or greatest fuck up I suppose depending on your point of view. He called Cena out on this, completely destroyed the idea that he was the underdog and made him Human again, not least because he did end up getting the better of him. Edge and Orton would have been much better feuds for Cena had this happened years ago, just perhaps not from a business perspective.

I thought this was a great feud. One of the best feuds of that time actually. I think what it was missing was a match at Wrestlemania. It kind of reminds me of Angle/Taker where they had these memorable matches, and great matches, but was missing the biggest match at the biggest stage of all. Cena/Edge should have main event a wrestle mania one on one for sure. A triple threat is not the same as I believe The Big Show was added into a match that they did have. I could be totally wrong on the participants as I am writing this at work off the top of my head. All said and done though a one on one Mania main event would have put this feud over the top.

Im gonna have to agree with this. Edge/Cena was ok for me but not something great that i will remember forever like Rock/Austin or HBK/Bret Hart or Undertaker/makind etc...
