Mr Anderson excels as a solo heel. I don't want to see him as a tweener/baby face at all or with Aces and Eights.
At his best, Mr Anderson is probably a better heel (and draw) then Aries and Bobby Roode and we've only been shown a small glimpse of that. The problem I find though is that TNA doesn't have many great match ups for a star to rise. I thought Austin Aries X Division title reign was possibly the best title reign of 2012, but someone had mentioned that most of it was against no name or throwaway talent. In WWE, Mr Kennedy was on the rise and had beaten 10 former champions (Undertaker, Batista, Hbk) on his way to winning the title, but in TNA there aren't near as many guys to elevate him or top baby faces for him to get heat from. And when he did get the chance, he was in Immortal and TNA didn't have a long term plan in him remaining heel from the get-go. I expect Anderson to turn on Aces and Eights and eventually face them at Lockdown, in turn TNA will continue to under utilize an exceptional heel. Last edited by UrUp : 12-31-2012 at 01:30 PM. |

Who cares anymore?
Mr. Anderson could've been a good heel main eventer and a draw for the company years ago, but they've wasted any opportunity for that and booked him poorly to the point he seems like just a lost opportunity that isn't going anywhere anymore. I really don't see anything he does with Aces & Eights changing that. Anderson needs to be a standout on his own, that's the only way his character will be effective and evolve into something meaningful, so him being thrown into this faction storyline won't work in my opinion. And then you have the Aces & Eights storyline as a whole. Who cares? It's run its course, its dragged on for far too long, and it's lost all momentum and importance now. It's become something to turn the channel on for TNA, and just like Mr. Anderson, has become a lost opportunity. |

I don't he should join. Just take advantage of the chicks and turn down their offer. Tht's how Anderson is.
What reason does he have to join? It would be just like Immortal. Getting any random member to join in. They atacked Ken a few months back didn't they? Shouldn't he get his vengence? Plus he's turned from Face to Heel (vice-versa) too many times in his TNA career as well. The fans like him as a face. Also, looking at the rumoured/current members, he doesn't fit in with the lies of Devon, Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff etc. He's better than them, more popular and doesn't have that thing about him to join a biker club.

![]() Yup. Anderson is in Aces and Eights. Shame they didn't make more of his decision by... you know... actually showing it, but I guess it's the only thing creative could come up with to finally get him back on television, because bottom line he's far too talented a performer to be sitting in the back. |
