![]() Jushin Liger is a better worker than 2 of the 3 people he's opposing here. Liger has worked some of the greatest Light-Heavyweight matches ever seen, such as his work with Brian Pillman and the Super J Cup. He's unendingly effective as an arielist, but at the same time, is just as adept on the mat. He has the potential to ground guys like RVD and Mysterio.
Truth be told, RVD is lethal when it comes to "prop matches." He may very well be the most creative guy I've ever seen. But it's called "high risk" for a reason, and van Dam has gotten burned his share of times by that. I see Jericho as the Gold Medalist because he's got the best all around game - he's the biggest, the most mat saavy, and still has a tremendous repitoire of high flying and ladder work. I see Liger as the Silver Medalist, with RVD earning bronze. |

![]() Jeez if this keeps up I may have to actually make my first thread ever on these forums and complain about the rank injustices that are going on here....
Ah, who'm I kiddin'. I've not the time nor interest in doing so. Anyways, as to not get a spam infraction: I'd like to add that Liger also has an ultra hardcore persona known as Kishin Liger (think Liger+Great Muta) as well as super heel persona, namely Black Liger, who if participating in this match would make his opponents even more uppercase F-U-C-... well you know. Both personas up the violence and heel tactic factors in Liger's favor and would be even harder to deal with. In any case be it Kishin, Black, or Jushin, Liger really would have this in the bag. Lastly I still am a bit confused as to why no one save for a select few of the 73 voters (at the time of this post) have bothered to say anything about this Gold medal match. Tis a shame. |

![]() So I see Rey is forging ahead now with (as of this writing) 30 votes. Sadly I also see that something like 90% of those who voted for Rey have less than 10 posts on this board total worse still most of these people having a giant gaping zero next total posts...
Anyways, what else... um, I guess I should also mention the Heavyweight incarnation of Liger aka "Battle Liger" aka no shirt, open mouth mask, and even more muscular/badass Liger. Lemme put it this way: remember when Rey got his Heavyweight shot and 'roided up, thereby slowing him down, and ruining his work rate? Well imagine if he didn't suck, and actually was booked to hang in there and keep pace with the heavyweights (even tossing some of them around!), and actually be taken seriously rather than getting jacked to the gills and still getting manhandled and made to look weak. Again, normal Jushin "Thunder" Liger would be more than enough, but Battle Liger would be even more dominant, though perhaps a slight step slower, as he relied even more on sheer power, punishing strikes, and raw technical ability to combat the Heavyweight division. |

![]() Rey Mastrio? The fuck? How is he winning this? I don't remember him winning many ladder matches, except for against Eddie that one time, but that was with the motivation of his son.
RVD has to be the winner here. The fact is that he has a great record in ladder matches. His only lose came against Sabu, who is fucking crazy. He's one several other ladder matches throughout his career, including the MITB match, which this is most similar to. RVD was put on this team as a ladder match specialist, and there is no reason he should lose here. Certainly not to Mysterio. Let's see some of the fantastic arguments for the Mexican Jumping Bean. Quote:
Also, if you want to play the "what if" scenario, I could just as easily say that a bald eagle could come in the ring and peck all the other competitors eyes out, allowing RVD to get the win. Quote:

![]() I pick Jericho here, he has always been one of the most excting men in Ladder matches, plus he had a lot of experience in them even before the WWE. I have only ever heard of one Rey Mysterio match, and it was uneventful. Liger I Have also never seen a match of his, but since he is a very smart, fast wrestler, he does better than Rey here. RVD will have a bit of an issue here, because he will be taking high risk moves against Liger here, and that will cost him. Jericho is extremely smart, and will wait for all the the other three men to dominant.
Whoa, whats with the score? I had Mysterio last on my list of winning this match. Only name I really recognize is Echelon, so that is strange. |

![]() How the fuck is Rey Mysterio winning this? Rey is the one who would get destroyed in this match. The other 3 competitors are much bigger, stronger, and would be able to better utilize weapons in this match. While RVD, Jericho, and Liger would be performing a bunch of big spots, Rey would be the one taking all of those spots. It is clear by looking at all of the guys who voted for Mysterio and how much they aren't supporting their choice that this is ridiculous. I voted for Liger, but please, vote for anyone other than Rey Mysterio.

![]() Yea... honestly I stopped giving a fuck a few posts back with regards to this match lol. Ah lemme see anything else to say... oh yea, if say Kishin Liger showed his face he'd also have the Green Mist attack to blind someone, e.g. just in case he's in the scenario where he and a fellow competitor were both on the ladder and he needed to ensure his lead. Not Kishin you say? Then he shotei palm thrusts the guy off the ladder. Either way it's all good.

![]() What the fuck? How is Rey winning? He is the smallest man in this contest who has never even been in a Money In The Bank match, he has only been in one ladder match that I can remember and that was against Eddie. I'm not too sure about Liger but I know RVD and Jericho have been in there fair share of them and came out on top in a lot.
Rey would put a great effort but these guys would do to much damage to them. RVD is soooooo creative and when it comes to a ladder match he could do so much shit to him. Liger would dominate him and Jericho would be smart and not get too involved. I see RVD winning this from past experience in the MITB, Jericho gets the silver and Liger gets the Bronze but either of those could get Gold. Not fucking Rey Mysterio.

![]() Liger FTWz bcause he's the bestest eva and van't be beaten by no oen, cause he is from Japan and theyre always the toughest and our hardcore and neever quit. I think Rey will blow a spot off the latter and die on the florr (not for reals tho), the n RVD will meess up cause he's high all the time, and is gonna wanna eat instead, but he'll get in alot of kicks and flips. Jerico is boring and talks to much, so he loses two, he will put the walls of ercho on someone and Liger will get upon the laddwer while he's still doing the submnission. Liger is the winner of teh gold, and Chris get's the silver, vandam will get bronze. Rey wiill still be on the ground sell the big spot from the beginnig and wont win any metals.
