Obviously 3 wins is quite an achievement.

But I gotta say I'm really impressed by all of Kane's achievements. Eliminating more than one third of EVERYBODY in one match is damn impressive. The quickest elimination was his deed, too. And 13 consecutive Rumble appearances speaks for his longevity. And let's not forget that Kane may yet break HBK's record of overall eliminations as well.

Kane's da Rumble man, even though he never won it and never will.

Flair going in at No. 3 and wrestling an hour to win against the most stacked roster ever in a Rumble is more impressive than HBK winning from the No. 1 slot but wrestling almost 20 minutes less. Anyone who can last an hour in this event and be heavily involved in the action through out is pretty impressive.

The 92 Roster for the event was unreal.... There were 7 World Champions in the event NOT including Flair (Hogan, Savage, Taker, HBK, St Slaughter, Kerry Von Erich in one of his last wrestling appearances before his death, and Sid) plus some of the biggest and most popular legends of all time in Piper, Ted DiBiase, and Jake Roberts.

That kind of performance among that kind of star power has to be among the best ever.

Besides that, Austin winning it three times is impressive but Kane making it 13 consecutive years is impressive too. How many guys even make it 5 or 6 times, you have to be healthy, name worthy, and active on the roster 13 straight years ?? I imagine if HBK hadnt injured his back, Flair hadnt left for WCW, or maybe Hart had stayed and not gotten injured one if not all of them would have a similair streak. Fact is they dont, so Kane deserves some love here.

Kerry Von Erich was never World Champion in the WWF. The WWF Champion you missed is Iron Sheik, wrestling as Colonel Mustafa. But, I agree that Flair's effort that night was extremely impressive!

I will vote for Kane's longevity. Austin won three times because Vince decided he should win three times. Of course, his awesome character and performance throughout his tenure resulted in being chosen three times; but, it's not like he actually won a battle that wasn't predetermined. Kane's numbers show that he has been relevant for a very long time--even though he was not always a main eventer. Kane's 11 eliminations in one year is no big deal to me...Vince had him eliminate that many. I don't get a kick out of "records" that come from script writing. But, the way he has been able to stay in this business, and in the biggest company there is, for so long gets my cumulative vote.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Kane.

Stone Cold Steve Austin - Austin to this date is still the man with the most wins in the Rumble (3), he is the third man to accomplish the back-to-back Rumble wins. While Austin might not have won from #1 his lowest number was 5, which is still respectable. But as far as Royal Rumble wins, he is the guy at the top of the mountain.

Shawn Michaels - Shawn might only have 2 wins in the Rumble, but despite that, one of those wins came from the very first spot in the Rumble, he is only one of two men to accomplish that feat. On top of that, he was the second man to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles. While on top of this, holding the record for eliminations in the match.

Kane - No Rumble win, list would not be complete without this guy, tossing people left and right out of the ring and a record for most eliminations that rivals that of Shawn's. He might not have won a Rumble match, but at the very least he deserves to surpass the elimination record for his efforts.

It's too tough a choice for me honestly.

Hogan would be there as well, being the very first man to win back-to-back Rumbles. Chris Benoit has a mention for being the 2nd man to win the Rumble from #1.
