[Lockdown 2013] Kurt Angle v. Wes Brisco [Steel Cage Match]

facing kurt at lockdown could be a very good thing for Wes. He has been stuck with Garrett Bischoff for so long now that everyone assumes that he can't wrestle, so this is the perfect opportunity for him to prove everybody wrong. As far as the match itself goes, I expect to see the other members of aces and eights getting involved at some point in the match, But I still see Angle getting the win.

If Brisco can hold his own here this could be very good for him. Angle will get a good match out of him either way, but he needs to pull his own weight to. I think Brisco will take him to the limit, but in the end Angle will get the win. Aces and Eights will get some wins on this card, but this match will be about the rookie of the group taking the veteran to his limit, but in defeat.

This match holds zero interest for me. We've seen so little of what Wes Brisco ultimately can or can't do that, frankly, there's no reason to give a shit about the guy.

The whole teacher vs. student thing doesn't appeal to me in this match. The primary reason for that is because, on paper, it looks like a massive mismatch. Brisco is a nobody whom TNA hasn't even attempted to make into a somebody while Kurt Angle is a wrestling god.

That being said, I expect Brisco to win this match. It would be the shocker of the decade if Brisco actually beat Angle without any help from his cohorts in Aces & Eights. I think the odds of that, however, are about the same as winning the Powerball jackpot, having freaky & dirty sex with Velvet Sky and getting struck by lightning all on the same day.

I think Brisco will win, but he'll get it with the help of several members of Aces & Eights. If he doesn't win, then a guy from Aces & Eights looks like a total scrub and Lord knows we've never seen anything like that from them.

What a huge spot for someone so absolutely brand new. Im sure angle will get a decent match out of him, since, its freaking Kurt Angle....but it could become obvious how wide the gulf between the two of them is the longer it goes...

I hope they add the stipulation that if Angle wins, and he will, Briscoe can never cut another promo....just kidding....probably.

Angle will get something out of him I'm sure and I expect Bischoff to get involved, but ultimately Angle will beat them like his prison bitches and Aces & Eights will get their win of the night in the Lethal Lockdown match.

If by some miracle of terrible booking Briscoe does beat Angle then the rematch should clearly be Medals vs hair as Brisoce's barnett is not helping him any.
