I see Cena slowly becoming The Rock and just making pop ups here and there and wrestling every now and then while never officially retiring. As for Big Show and Kane, I think they're good as done and if Show's match with Strowman was his last then it was the perfect way to go. I would say that Show and Takers are locks to go in this year.

So getting to the 2018 class:

HEADLINER: THE UNDERTAKER

Tag Team/Stable: nWo (Hogan, Nash, Hall)

Mid-Card Name: Big Show

Women's Name/Deceased Competitor: Chyna

International Legend: Vader

Pioneer: William Regal

Non-Wrestler: Vickie Guerrero
No, no, no.
If you're going to induct a non wrestler with the nwo it has to be bishcoff.

He generally put on solid matches too.

Rick Martel absolutely needs to be in, though. I'm shocked that he's not in yet. He was consistently one of the best tag team and midcard solo wrestlers in WWF from the mid 80's to the early 90's.
I forgot about Rick Martel.

I put Rotundo because of his career where he wrestled in a few places.

I would like to see Martel in, though, not only because he deserves it, but then 2K will have him be DLC for their HoF DLC Pack in their video game, and Martel is the No 1 Legend I want in a video game who hasn't appeared in one yet (he was supposed to be in the HoF DLC last year, as an opponent for Stan Hansen, but for some reason, Hansen wasn't in as DLC, so they removed Martel as well. I hope he is in WWE2K18).

I don't see them inducting Chyna anytime soon, while alot of fans wants them to induct her, i think their still some hard feeling over some of the stuff she said toward HHH and WWE. Plus she's still a polarizing figure that's could possibly be a big headache for the WWE if they induct her know just based on not just her porno career, but also her drug addiction that pretty much lead to her death. That kinda why Miss Elizabeth and Lex Luger haven't been inducted yet and both really deserve to be inducted but their checkered pass With Lex being arrested for drugs possession and indirectly the death of miss elizabeth and the fact that elizabeth died of and drug overdose pretty much means that they might never induct them and they deserve it as much if even more then Chyna.

So i really don'T see Chyna get inducted next year, they acknowledge her when she died but for now, that's probably the only thing they will do for her fans and personally i really don't mind because i really never was a fan of hers anyway.

Dynamite hasn't being shy about his hatred of wwe and davey boy smith over the years and inducting davey without dynamite might anger him and start shooting on wwe.

Cyndi lauper, I love the idea but again it's something we're I think she really doesn't care about them now mostly because mr. T got inducted before her or something of that nature so her induction might never happen.

Sable, again she deserve this but I think she just happy being lesnar's wife right now and doesn't really care about being inducted

Christian deserve this but I think it's to early for him to get inducted when so many others guys on his level haven't been inducted yet. I think guys like vader, luger, arn anderson, bagwell, tatanka and brutus beefcake just to name a few deserve to get in before christian.

I think the midnight express is a great pick for the tag team but It was everybody is hoping to see after what happened this year. But the reality is that while the midnights we're great, they never really wrestled in wwe so I think it would be harder to convince vince to inducted them over team that we're wwe creation or at less wrestled in wwe.

For the other 2, rotundo and taker, why not at this point who else do they have as big name main event level star to headlines the hof, but again it all depends on if taker truly decided to retire or it's just the same situation as last year and they can convince him to wrestle one more match.. as for rotundo, you needsomebody to fill up the class and he did enough in both wwe and nwa/wcw to deserve a spot in the hall of fame.
Davey Boy had a worthy career, not only with the Bulldogs, but in his own right as well, winning the European and WWE Intercontinental Title. He has had solo runs with WWE and WCW. Also, they usually put in a deceased Legend, and he is the main one not yet inducted.

Dynamite might be bitter, but the way he has spoken about WWE over the years, why should Vince care what Dynamite wants?

I'm surprised if Lauper turned down the nomination, but the only reason I can think that she hasn't gone in is that I thought I heard she had some falling out with WWE at some stage. Shame if she never goes in, as she has probably done for WWE as a celebrity than 90% of the celebrities in the HoF at the moment.

Christian definitely should have gone in before the Godfather. Once you have Godfather in the HoF, any other midcarder is fair game.

Rock N Roll Express hasn't really wrestled in WWE either (except for that month where Smoky Mountain and UWF did matches in WWE in 1998), so non-involvement in WWE may not be an issue. A bigger problem is Jim Cornette's bitterness towards WWE, and I think he needs to be on board for it to happen. It depends on whether Cornette can put aside his own personal feelings in order to see his team honored.

I can see why you think Davey Boy should go in and I agree with you, but being part of the British Bulldogs was a huge part of his career. To almost totally ignore that without mentioning or inducting Dynamite Kid, would be really petty on the WWE's behalf. I mean it's like inducting Jeff Hardy, who in my mind has had a better career than Matt Hardy, and not putting the Hardy Boys first.

Dynamite Kid has said some pretty bad things about the WWE and if I remember correctly weren't he and Davey Boy in fact cousins. I remember reading a long time ago and they had a falling out and never spoke to each other after it. So it would be one hell of a speech if the Dynamite Kid ever got on the Hall of Fame stage. So that's why I think Vince will wait.

Also with regards to Christian. Edge in already in, so Christian should go in as well. He has retired and well why not.

They should be alright in terms of headliners for the next little while. If they were hurting for names, they could always induct the NWO and DX as a headlining faction. I'd bet on either Goldberg or Taker headlining next years HOF class, maybe even the next two, and from there you still have The Rock, Batista, and HHH as viable candidates who could go in tomorrow if need be. An argument could even be made for people like Rey Mysterio, The Big Show, and Kane. I don't see many people complaining if Owen Hart headlined a class considering the circumstances. By the time you run through those names, you'd have Cena, Orton, Bryan, Punk, Jericho, and Lesnar as legitimate options. That's like, 15+ years worth of headliners right there.

As for the rest of the 2018 class, who knows. I'd like to see either Sable or Chyna go in but I don't see that happening anytime soon. If Vince was willing to put them in at this point, I doubt we would have gotten Beth Phoenix this year. There's so many tag teams that they could choose from; Demolition, The Hart Foundation, The New Age Outlaws, Edge and Christian, The Midnight Express etc. I could see Bischoff going in based on his reception at this years ceremony.

So many options, I'm not even going to try to put a lineup together.

Of those three, I think Miss Elizabeth is the most likely to be inducted, sown the track.

In fact, I thought it would have been cool to induct her along with "Macho Man" Randy Savage, as she was managing him through most of his career.

The reason why I think she will get down the track is that she was more of a "victim" and has created less waves. Down the track, when people forget that she died of a drug overdose (and if the rumor is true that Liz took the drugs to commit suicide, to escape Lex's beatings) then she will be seen as a more sympathetic figure.

Of course, it may depend on whether Lanny Poffo would have any objection, or if he feels that Savage would have. I heard Savage and Elizabeth's marriage was stormy.

Lex won't get in, because, as well as the other reasons, I think he has sounded off about how he was used in WWE, and that they didn't put the belt on him at Wrestlemania X.

Chyna won't go in for all the reasons we have heard.

I agree with all the names on your list and think most of those names will go in at some point, I agree with others of the Dynamite Kid being deserving I feel he's the most deserving name who isn't there especially from his matches in Japan, He was so innovative nobody came close to matching him back in the day skills wise.
So many others worthy of an induction like Demolition, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, Brutus Beefcake, King Kong Bundy, Bruiser Brody, Ivan Koloff, Nikita Koloff, Rick Martel, Vader, Lex Luger, Steiner Brothers, Honky Tonk Man, Dick The Bruiser and The Crusher.
I hate the fact that they have a celebrity wing of the hall of fame but I think if any celebrity was to be inducted it should be Andy Kauffman, In my opinion he done more for wrestling than any other celebrity in history by far and even sold his injured neck for a long time, Gave Memphis wrestling worldwide fame, He played a heel and didn't go out to make himself look good like most celebrities who appear.

I would rather keep Thr Undertaker as backup for a couple of years. He's going in for sure as he should but the timing isn't right as of now.

I would like Goldberg to be the headliner of next year. His last run in WWE just ended at Wrestlemania and it was quite successful as well. But I do remember reading that considering the success of Goldberg's stint, Vince might want him to return again for a while. Have Trish Stratus and Lita gone in yet? If not, I won't mind either of them.

Great selections. Those are all the ones I've been wanting in for a long time now. The only thing I would change is I would put Demolition instead of The Midnight Express (although they should still be in for sure)
