The other possibility would be AJ takes the fall, and then rejoins the X-division. At Destination X the title holder has the choice to either keep the X title or cash it in for the World title match. That would, at least, make it less than a year before AJ gets a title match and would not only give him something to do, but would give the X division some much needed direction.
