In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they did induct HHH, X-Pac, and New Age Outlaws individually just so they could exclude Chyna.
That was my example with the Four Horsemen. Ole Anderson was an original founding member and should've went in with that group; but he got subbed for Barry Windham who wasn't part of the original incarnation. Windham could've easily went in on his own at some point. If there's a strained relationship or bad press then of course they can keep her out from the induction.

Side note: I would not advocate X-Pac in the HOF.

DX can very Easily go in as HBK and HHH alone,

Xpac won't go in...

and if NAO go in, they need to go in as a taG team but there are way more plenty deserving teams before them.

I think the Outlaws are deserving in spite of whether or not other teams "deserve it more" - I mean you're talking about basically the tag team of 98-99. They were extraordinarily over for their card position and it's clear there were considerations for them both to go further at one point or another.

This thing with Gunn will blow over.

DX as a whole is probably redundant because the only members likely to be going in can do so under different monikers/singles runs anyway.

Chyna is highly unlikely even though she deserves it. She should really be valued without consideration for the whole porn thing.

I truly don t care for deep penetration x as many members of them were also nWo members afterwards for example Ravishing Rick Rude and Sean Waltman which is the reasons why all members won t be inducted in the hall of fame as it is a ball of confusion having members jump to WCW afterwards. I would say HBK Shawn Michaels and that s it for HOF

Rock Rude deserves a solo induction in the future and his time in DX and NWO are meaningless to me for me to would want to even include him. Triple H is a shoe in whenever that bridge crosses so to me there's no sense to induct DX if you don't include NAO and X-Pac(X-Pac does not deserve his own induction). I thought Nash's run in WCW is more memorable than WWE's. I would induct NWO mainly to acknowledge his NWO run with him being an original member.

There is no way that DX gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame until well after Triple H gets inducted as a solo wrestler. And that is not happening for a little while, so I see the induction of this faction happening at least five years down the road.

As far as who gets inducted, I think it will be all of them if it does ever happen. Triple H and HBK obviously. The New Age Outlaws will both go in, their contractual status with WWE is irrelevant, and Billy Gunn's brain fart will likely be enough to keep him out of in ring participation, but is not significant enough to keep him out of the hall of fame. Rick Rude can go in posthumously. And I would assume that Waltman and Chyna would both be included in the induction ceremony as well. As long as they are kept far away from a microphone, and get screened at the door on the way in. Let's face it, lots of loose cannons with the potential to embarrass WWE have been inducted. The Ultimate Warrior, Razor Ramon, or even Jake Roberts all had the potential to be inducted and be an absolute train wreck at the ceremony, yet none of them were. There's no reason to exclude Waltman or Chyna, but I am not sure they will actually speak. Which is fine because with such a large faction, time constraints would probably preclude everyone from speaking anyway.

I can't help but wonder when it's all said and done, how many times will Triple H get inducted? A solo wrestler for sure. Degeneration X, very likely as above. Evolution, count on it. And now the executive Authority version. At the end of the day, the guy will need his own wing in the Hall. So there's really no rush for degeneration X. All in good time I guess.

A few years ago, I remember there being talk of inducting DX into the WWE HOF, but HHH supposedly shot it down on the grounds that he wanted to go in by himself first.

I have every confidence DX will be inducted some day, and most likely it will be HBK, HHH, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and X-Pac. Whether or not Chyna is included (and she should be) is dependent entirely on whether or not she can get her act together. WWE has made up with Bruno Sammartino and the Ultimate Warrior in recent years, and I hope they can do the same with her.

Have to agree with others, DX will not go into the HOF simply because Triple H isnt in there yet. It is very rare that active superstars are added to the HOF.

The next big stable to go into the HOF will probably be the Hart Foundation, but only after Owen Hart is inducted which might possibly be this year. You could also argue a case they may wait until the British Bulldog is in. Again, that would make sense this year....Bret could induct them both at the same time.

Obviously, Triple H and Shawn Michaels belong in the HOF: HBK is already in there and I can't believe anyone believes Trips won't be.

So, fine.....if they're the only ones to go in, leave it at that.
This made me think of nWo as well. A lot of people have brought up the thought of why they aren't in the HOF. Chyna being excluded from DX really begs the question what happens if WWE and Hogan work together again and the question of nWo going in arises?

Do they exclude Hogan? If nWo is in, does that mean Scott Norton? Luger? Bagwell? Steiner? Dennis Rodman? Bischoff? Everyone and their brother?

When it comes to DX and nWo, it's pretty easy to exclude any of the "undesirables." Benoit didn't get in with the Horsemen.

The WWE HOF is a tricky thing. To some, it's a popularity contest and cash grab. To WWE, I think they really and truly believe that it's a massive honour and that they make the best possible selections in their mind for talent and fans. I think the truth is somewhere in between.

If WWE excludes anyone, it doesn't change what they meant to their fans or what they meant at that moment. It's something else.
