..and it's pretty much what you'd expect, right down to the "Please Look At Us Make This Edgy Choice" of the year. Mother! may have been a divisive film, no question. And I'd argue it was a bit pretentious with its heavy-handed biblical themes and all, but Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem were far from the worst things about the film. From all of the reviews I've watched trashing the movie, not once did anybody make a solid case to it being bad due to their acting. Now I have my reservations on Michele Pfeiffer's role, but that can be argued for...well, any of her movies. She's just terrible. Notice how the Razzies didn't have the balls to just come out and say mother! is nominated for Worst Picture/Screenplay. If you're gonna make a statement, don't play with our dicks here.

Depp's worn out Keith Richards impersonation was borderline creepy paired with that uncanny valley CGI Young Jack Sparrow. That gets my vote for worst everything.

The Emoji Movie isn't as bad as people make out. It's greatest crime is being boring.

I think you can probably say the same about most of those films. They're just dull. They don't even have the decency to be abominations. Apart from Baywatch. Baywatch was a turd. It's taken Jumanji and The Greatest Showman for me to forgive The Rock and Zac Efron.

Bit surprised Saw 8 isn’t on the worst remake/sequel list. I love Saw as much as anyone but not only was the acting typical Saw acting, parts that make no sense and quite an obvious ‘swerve’ which is surprisingly one of Saws better parts for its fans, but it also was pretty disappointing in terms of what the story was. I won’t give away any spoilers but if you’ve seen it you know what I mean. Really no Saw movie is good and this was one of the more underwhelming ones in just about every aspect, if not every.

Damn, what's with all the hate for mother!? I thought it was great. Sure, if you're the type of moviegoer that's just looking for a bit of escapism and entertainment it's probably not for you, but for people who enjoy analyzing films it was fantastic.

But I guess they need to nominate a movie or two people actually care about. Nobody would give a shit about a show that was all about movies like Baywatch and Transformers 7 and Tyler Perry Dressed as a Woman 12.

Only seen Baywatch out of all these. Thank god. I've seen worse.

I enjoyed mother! I get why some people don't like it and I get why some do, it's one of those movies where it just appeals to you, sometimes for reasons that can be difficult to pin down, or it's just simply not your thing.

Not at all surprised to see the Fifty Shades series continuing to get the proverbial pecker slap. Book critics despise the novels so it's little wonder movie critics despise the films. I can honestly say I've never seen any of them or read any of the books, just not at all interested.

All the hate for Transformers is, as usual, spot on and completely understandable. I took my niece to watch it and I had a good time being with her, but the movie itself was awful. The plot was nonsensical and while there are directors who can make the melding of the sci-fi aspects of Transformers with the medieval/fantasy stuff come off well, Michael Bay isn't one of them. If it doesn't blow up, Bay doesn't know what he's doing.

I had no interest in the Mummy or Baywatch, I just knew they'd be lousy from the trailers. I'll give the Mummy props for trying to think outside the box and try something different, but it's just not something that sounds appealing and I think Universal would be better suited if they abandoned the notion of a "Monsterverse."

Baywatch is an old TV show being made into a movie and it had so many things going against it already. Don't get me wrong, Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrback running, bouncing and giggling around bikinis and the iconic, skin tight red one piece was mouthwatering to say the least but that's all it's got. What's worse, as has been the case with a few other old TV shows made into movies, they try to edge it up with crude humor that just doesn't fit with what helped make the TV show a success.

Ironic that the same role that earned Depp an Academy Award nomination 15 years ago, roughly, is now being labeled as one of the worst performances of the year. Depp allegedly needs the huge paychecks these movies generate as he practically burns through cash maintaining a ridiculously lavish lifestyle.

Probably the biggest surprise on this list is Emma Watson's nomination for the Circle. It was a lousy movie, dull as hell, unoriginal and just sort of half assed its way along, but I thought she and Tom Hanks did as good a job as anyone could with what they had to work with in terms of a story.

I didn't see anything wrong with Sofia Boutella's performance, but the way her character was portrayed is another story. They wanted it both ways with Ahmanet. They wanted her to be this cool, bad ass villain and they wanted you to feel sympathy for her at the same time, while basically turning a blind eye to her murdering a baby and her father in his sleep, because she wanted more power.

And I can't remember the last time Tom Cruise was so unbearably annoying. I don't have a problem with comedy, but Cruise was more obnoxious than usual, playing this dimwitted fool with an incredible streak of luck.

With Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan moving on to pursue different projects, the Dark Universe is basically dead in the water. They were able to downplay and erase Dracula Untold's ( a solid and enjoyable film) status as the first film to kick off Universal's movie monsters universe. But it's no secret The Mummy was supposed to be the first film in the Dark Universe, so it's another failed attempt for Universal to start a cinematic universe.

Baywatch was truly terrible. Short on any real laughs, and they promoted the movie as this raunchy and over the top R-rated comedy, but it's basically a long tease for horny teenagers.

I stopped paying attention to the Pirates Of The Caribbean films a while ago, but it's easy to see why the series is an easy target for The Razzies. POC is nothing more than a cash cow franchise now, and it's been that way for years. The series truly represents the business side of Hollywood, churning out big budget films that range from mediocre to awful with lazy storytelling to turn a profit.

Black Mass and Sweeny Todd are the only two good Johnny Depp films I can think of in the past ten years. Transcendence, The Tourist, Dark Shadows, Public Enemies, and Alice Through The Looking Glass? There's so much crap on Depp's resume for the 2000's, and he's at a point, where he's almost as bad as Nicolas Cage.

Mother! is a lot to digest, but I also understand the complaints for an overly pretentious and unnecessarily confusing movie.

Collide was a boring film, but Anthony Hopkins was awful as the villain. He was great on Westworld, but Hopkins is basically at the De Niro stage of his career (and he's been there for a while now), where he lives off the past as a big name to take roles in so many mediocre and garbage movies for a paycheck.
