Ziggler has been great as of late, but he's far from a guy who can put on a fantastic match with anybody. I can comfortably say that Ziggler is one of the most overrated men in professional wrestling, even though I quite enjoy his work. That being said, he'd be paired with three great wrestlers in this scenario, and I'm sure the matches wouldn't disappoint. Now, the series I would most want to see would be Ziggler/Punk. Ziggler and Punk had a great TV match on the first Raw of 2012 and I want to see them have more time to work together -- I want to see them have a few matches so they can expand upon the groundwork they've already laid down.
A series between Punk and Ziggler would consistently be a show stealer. Punk has been on an absolute roll for a while now and with Ziggler on a hot streak of his own, I can only imagine the matches would be through the roof. Furthermore, I think Ziggler would really benefit from getting a few wins -- or potentially winning a series -- over CM Punk, more than he would if he were facing Daniel Bryan or Randy Orton. Behind John Cena, CM Punk is the man, he took the mantle from Randy Orton. An extended feud between Ziggler and Punk would provide the best opportunity for Ziggler to have some great matches and to really benefit from working with a top guy.
