Anyways, about the poll. I know Rocky is on everyone's minds right now, but I would love to have been Austin. Something about a bad-ass redneck is more appealing than being a eyebrow raising movie star.

Let's look at the facts:

Stone Cold: Broken neck, damaged knees, a body broken down and more than likly living in horrible pain everyday of his life after 20 years in the sport. 3 ex-wives and 1 domestic abuse conviction. His latest projects being 10th billing on a Sly Stallone movie and a host of a wrestling reality show.

Rock : who spent only 8 years in wrestling with no major injuries. Starring in movies that have grossed more than a billion dollars. and i can only assume banging models and porn stars.

Currently : The Rock
In 1999 : Austin

I have to go with Stone Cold. He helped define an era in the WWE that most fans look back with longing affection. This is to take nothing away from The Rock, but it's like the debate between Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Lou Gehrig was technically a more complete ballplayer, but Babe Ruth defined an era for generations to come. Or as Good Ol' JR would yell after a stunner, "STONE COLD, STONE COLD, STONE COLD!!!"

Since I absolutely love alcohol, gotta go with Austin. He's definately had more "moments" then the Rock, the whole feud with McMahon brought us years of entertainment.

I would have to say Stone Cold. While I am fans of both, I always liked Austin just a little bit better. He always seemed superior to me, and the pops he got were legendary. The Rock is right behind him though in my eyes, but Stone Cold gets the edge.

Like most people, Austin, when he cuts promos he's actually funny or badass, the Rock says a lot of idiotic and stupid things, like a desperate 12 year old starving for attention, in the attitude era, if it wasn't for Austin the Rock would have never gotten noticed, thanks to Austin the Rock got over, when the Rock was fueding with Shamrock or other superstars, he was just one more in the roster, but as soon as Austin gave him, yes, gave him the intercontinental title and started a fued with him, that's when he got noticed, because of Austin, so i pick Austin any time over the Rock.........

I would have to say The Rock.

Not that I think he's superior to Stone Cold at all, cause he's not. You just have to take the bad with the good. While I'd love to be the Texas Rattlesnake, I would not want to break in the hard way, bust my ass as Stunning Steve only to get fired, and I don't even want to think about breaking my neck...

While Rock on the other hand, got to play some college football, broke into wrestling pretty easily because of his dad and grandfather, avoided any serious injury and got out completely healthy and now makes an assload of cash making movies.

Stone Cold is more admirable (aside from the beating his wife thing) but being Rock is just so much more appealing.

Yeah, I would go with Austin but it's a real toss up. I go with SCSA simply because of this: every time someone thinks of the attitude era, Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the first things that comes to mind. On the other hand, when someone says "Smackdown" do you immediately think "that's the Rock's show"? I definitely don't. SCSA for me.
