I think he peaked before Royal Rumble. Just isnt edgy enough to hold peoples interest. And he is after all just a red headed step child. You want to love him but you just cant.

It's the same problem WWE has with lots of badass heels becoming faces. They take him from the badass he was as a heel to a grinning wisecracking doofus.

Agreed. Sheamus came in and destroyed everyone in sight, "retiring" Jamie Noble, breaking his neck from a Kayfabe perspective. Now, he's just a bland and cookie cutter face. Stupid jokes, never loses, blah blah blah. Seems like the only creative characters are the ones that are heels. DB, Cody and Ziggler come off that way. Although, a lot of heels are cocky and crap, Ziggler has so much chrisma and the "it" factor. Sheamus needs to go back to that ass kicking machine type character he use to be. Did anyone take Mark Henry serious when he was Sexual choclate or when he was looking like a fat kool aid man and teaming with MVP? Didn't think so.
