The posts in this thread make my brain hurt...Big Show said "...and I'd be the #1 Contender for Undertaker's title at Survivor Series." So please stop all the bickering over where it's going to be. Now on to the match...

I'm usually not a fan of "Big Show: The Main Eventer", but I like his work with Undertaker. I don't know why, but they flow together, and they almost always have good matches. I'm not expecting a MOTY type here, but they should be able to go out, and have a very good PPV match, with Show looking like a credible contender. I'm sure there will be a Jericho run-in at some point, since I'm sure he wants the title shot.

If Jericho and Show can feud, while dropping the belts, until the end of the year, then I could see them setting up Taker v. Jericho for WrestleMania, and there's no kleenex big enough to wipe up that mark out moment for me...

The match isn't official because Teddy is going to announce it on Smackdown! Also for those of you complaining about Big Show, he was in the WHC match at Wrestlemania, why would him maineventing Survivor Series surprise you. I don't agree with it, but its typical WWE.

Also stop saying Jericho won't be on the card. He will 100% be on the card, where is the question considering he has two semi feuds going with Big Show and DX and both of them have matches. Either he'll get in a three way with Show and Taker claiming he was the one who actually pinned Raw or he'll head up some survivor series match team. He never gets left off of the PPV cards.

I'm guessing 'Taker's #1 Fan got future endeavoured for posting spoilers so i shan't mention Big Show's tag partner in my post to avoid doing the same. Anyway...

I've got to say i'm somewhat shocked. Not that Big Show is getting a World Title shot, because come on, he was in the title match at WM, so why can't he have a shot at SSeries? But shocked because A) this means no tag title match for the second PPV in a row, JUST as people were beginning to respect the belts more, B) What the hell is Punk going to be doing at the PPV? and C) I'm surprised now that Batista has had a heel turn, that he doesn't have a title match. Long/Vince are still trying to mess Taker around, Batista seems to be willing to do whatever to get the belt back. He's a million times more succesful than Show, so why doesn't he have the title shot?

Also, a LOT of you are assuming now that this has been done just so Taker has someone to face at the PPV, and that there is no way Show could win. Allow me to point out 2 things to you all:

1. Taker gets screwed out of matches at Survivor Series more often than any other PPV he gets screwed at.

2. BOTH times Big Show has won the WWE title was at..... you guessed it, Survivor Series, and not only that, he beat guys that no one thought he could beat. SSeries '99 Show replaced Austin in a triple threat against HHH and The Rock and won the title, and in 2002, Big Show ended Brock Lesnar's undefeated streak when he beat him for the title at SSeries. So it's not definite that Show won't win that match at all. Vince likes to follow patterns in his booking, so don't be shocked if Show walks out the Champ in a months time. Feel free to be pissed off, but don't be shocked.

Well the Big Show is good for a man his size, I mean that does not mean much but is something.

I thing this will be like one time only match, they need iem to repackage Batista wih his new attitude and CM Punk will raise again bur for now he will regroup.

I don't think Show is going to take Takers belt and is an average PPV match since they announced the one from Raw and I thing that one will be the Main event.

And tonight on SmackDown! Kane and Jericho get their chance to get into the title hunt. If they beat Show and 'Taker then they get a shot at the World Heavyweight Title. I'm not spoiling anything since it's 9:30 PM and it's been announced on SmackDown! that the match is taking place tonight. So, if Kane and Jericho win, Kane gets his yearly title shot and hopefully Jericho stops complaining about not getting any title oppurtunities.

I think this is a stupid, stupid way to have Undertaker defend his title. Not that Jericho and Show are not deserving, but they still have way too much traction left as a tag team to be vying for the World title, and possibly broken up in the future. We all know how WWE likes to split up tag teams before they even get anywhere.

It seemed as if the tag team division had been gaining a little more attention...but now you have champs that haven't defended their titles in who knows how long, and no real team that has been built up as remotely credible challengers for their titles. Maybe I'm wrong though, and WWE has plans not apparent to us yet. But it seems they are just throwing this all together and not thinking about what they have left in JeriShow.

Plus, I think Jericho vs. Undertaker would be a good feud leading up to, and taking place at, Wrestlemania. It's kinda early to start a program with the two, unless the creative team actually grew half a brain and planned it out to last until the big show.

Speaking of the Big Show, we've all seen him vs. Undertaker plenty of times, so nothing between the two seems fresh. The last time the Big Show looked badass next to the Undertaker was before Survivor Series 2002 when he threw him off of the SmackDown stage...Undertaker has always seemed to make him look like a punk since then.

I don't know what result we will see in this match, but I think Undertaker will retain. Unless they have Jericho win the belt to build tension between he and Show. I don't think Show is ready for a title run....unless we get a surprise...

I must admit, I love the sound of “Coming to the ring, at a combined weight of 720 lbs. … They are the Unified WWE World Tag Team Champions, the WWE Champion, the Big Show and the World Champion, Chris Jericho!!” That would be a Mark out moment for me. Of course it would get old fast, ask Kurt Angle during his TNA X Title and TNA Tag Title runs.

I actually believe that the 33% chance the Undertaker has is enough to walk (or float) out with the World Title. I wouldn’t vBet my vCash, but that’s what I think. Unless of course McMahon were to really screw Taker at Survivor Series. If that’s the case, I see Jericho walking out with the World Title and start the end of JeriShow. Maybe Jericho could say something like, “look, we got the World Title on me, now let’s get the WWE Title on you, after all, we beat Cena already.” (assuming Cena is victorious over DX). Then of course, Jericho screws Show, (possibly unifying the WWE and World Titles again … okay too far), Cena retains and JeriShow Explodes at Armageddon!! Well it sounds better than “JeriShow Explodes at … TLC!!” right?? #@#@!!

I will agree that these four way, three way matches or whatever are not a good way to defend the title. But I think these matches were designed to get around the Undertaker's nagging injuries, and obvious limitations we've seen lately.

WWE splits up every tag team, it's just inevitable, they get them over, sometimes even over huge, and then they're killed with no real explenation or logic. Like Carlito & Primo's breakup was the worst breakup ever in the history of tag team wrestling.

I agree, I'd love to have them hold the titles right up until 'Mania at least, and once Edge is healed up, have him and Christian reunite to take them away! It makes a lot of sense really.

This is definitely the route the company should go, if Edge cannot make it back in time for 'Mania, which from what I've been reading seems like a sad possibility. Jericho & 'Taker have worked in the same company for nearly 10 years, and haven't had a program or a big PPV match? Just wrong.

Have never bought Show as a main eventer, and I never will. Which is why I was perfectly fine with him in his role as a tag partner, and the big lug was actually starting to grow on me.

Not all surprises are good quite frankly! But I see 'Taker going over in the story of the match being Show & Jericho's inability to decide who wins, 'Taker capitalizes.

I don’t understand why they put them in the title match. The whole pint of them being a tag team is to bring prestige and meaning back to the belts which I believe they have...WWE booking is terrible. Put the undertaker against someone else and let JERISHOW focus on putting the tag belts back on the map... That’s what I think...Once again WWE is saying the tag belts mean nothing..

Actually I think they're doing a great job of bringing credibility back to the tag titles, first of all, they have 2 pretty much main eventers holding the belts, which would encourage any 2 other guys to take a chance and try and beat them for the titles, I mean they have put the titles back on the map, this really isn't about the main events at Survivor Series, they're just stepping stones for Dx vs Jerishow, I don't think Jerishow should fued against each other, cause that would mean one of them would turn face, I don't really want to see that! But having the 2 people that hold the tag titles be in a main event at SS is giving the belts quite a lot of credibility!

Also, I don't see Randy Orton winning the Royal Rumble this year, I don't think they would have him win it 2 Royal Rumbles in a row, but who would win it I don't know!

I was hoping Edge would return during the Royal Rumble and Win, that would be awesome! But I don't see that happening.

So who else is left, who can carry a main event at Wrestlemania, I know he really isn't doing much, but I would love to see Kane win his first Royal Rumble and fued with Taker at 26, if anyone can give Kane a good fued and make the match against him a big one it's the deadman! They have had great matches in the past.

Or maybe Batista will win again and he'll go after Cena, or maybe someone completly different will win!
