I'll not pretend it's a word I'd use in polite company, or really at all, but that doesn't mean that Crave's response wasn't entirely disproportionate.

Not really, no.
I was never much of a fan of Olyphant's "always on the verge of tears" style of acting.
She calls him Honky Tonk Man after it becomes clear that he's cool, cocky, and bad.
