A.Do you think a batista return to the WWE would be likely at this point?
I think so. Unless he wanted to do movies, but is he getting any interest for that?
B. Would the return of batista help or hurt the WWE right now?
I think he'd be a big help. Even before Edge's departure Smackdown...
He got a great send off on 3 shows as well as videos honoring him. He'll be in the hall of fame. Having him keep the title is overkill. He wasn't the first to hold it nor did he hold it the longest.
His reign wasn't even that special until he retired. I'm not saying it wasn't special at all...
My reaction is a yawn.
It is difficult to follow up Taker vs. Shawn (1 and 2) then Taker vs. HHH. Rey vs. Taker would be a HUGE let down from those 3. Plus, will Rey be around for WM 28? Maybe I misread something somewhere, but wasn't he planning on moving on once his contract was...
I agree with all of this, but add in the Rey vs. Cody match. I actually liked it, but wasn't great. What a disappointment. It did not feel like a Wrestlemania. It felt like a 4 hour "Fatal 4 way" type gimmick PPV. They build up the royal rumble to have the winner in the first match and get...
I don't think that happens. It would be stupid for Triple H to do that. The backlash would be way worse than Starcade was.
I think there will be interference from Shawn (though who he takes out is the question) but I don't see Undertaker losing the streak.
I've been lurking on the forums for some time now and decided that this week would be the time to sign up and start posting. No more being a creepy lurker!
:lol2:
I'm happy Barrett has the title now. It is sad, but I actually forgot Kofi had the title. I guess that proves how great his run was. Kofi is a solid mid card guy, but hasn't ever excited me.
I must be in the minority, but I really don't see the issue with the belt change. It is generating more heat on Miz. Isn't that what the heel should be doing?
Plus with Cena, doesn't a heel have to try extra hard to get heat considering each match half the crowd is going to be pro heel opponent?
They're going to do something. The WWE will not sit by and do nothing and firing him is too extreme. That is why I think suspension is the correct path to take. If they do nothing, they get a lot of PR heat. If they outright fire him, that makes them look good PR wise for only a short time, then...
I honestly don't feel he should be fired. He's about to get squashed at Wrestlemania. Suspend him. Play it off as if he is seriously injured and will require surgery. Then when he has done his time, taken his classes, bring him back and move on.
But there is no reason to fire him. It was...
