Great wrestler (arguably the greatest North Americna wrestler of all-time), great promo guy, tons of charisma, great character. Just because he doesn't retire or has some bad stuff outside the ring shouldn't affect his amazing wrestling career.
Cody Rhodes will be fine. There's been plenty of people who were put on the back burner for a bit before being pushed. Cody's still really young and has a long, successful career ahead of him. I'll start worrying if he's still on Superstars by the end of the year.
This is extremely sad to see. I really hope Scott Hall gets his life together. He was a great talent in his day and he's been overcome by demons. I'm praying for you Scott.
A lot of good matches have already been named, The 1-2-3 Kid vs. Bret Hart RAW 1994 match and John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels RAW 2007 match are my two favorite RAW matches, and Stone Cold vs. Chris Benoit on Smackdown May 2001 is my favorite Smackdown match. I'm going try and not mention any...
John Cena vs. CM Punk Money in the Bank 2011 - Excellent match that benefitted from great booking, great build up, and making CM Punk into a star. The storytelling in the match was great from everything like Cena refusing to take a screwy finish and doing it the right way, to Cena pacing himself...
I do not see Cody Rhodes holding the world title this year. At the moment, both Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio should be in the World Heavyweight Championship picture for the next few months. You also have to remember Randy Orton should be getting a title shot some time this year. If Cody is...
Undertaker vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania 28.
At first, I was on the fence about seeing this match for a third time at Wrestlemania. I was also on the fence about how they would book Shawn Michaels in the match. But by the end of the match, I was glad they did have a third match and Shawn was...
Really? Wrestlemania 24 was probably better than Wrestlemania 23. Both the main events for Wrestlemania 23 were great, though, and the card was solid, but Wrestlemania 24 was as good if not better with two great main events as well (Flair/Michaels and Taker/Edge).
The Rock probably. The guy has put over plenty of guys from Brock to Goldberg to even Hurricane. Rock is a very selfless guy. I would say Jericho, but he really isn't a "top guy." More of a upper mid carder.
There are plenty of people who should go in before him, but he could go in, I mean his character at the time was very innovative and controversial. He's had a decent length career from WCW to WWF. I don't see why not.
I don't think it's his last match. I think he's going to retire just yet. They would have mentioned it and promoted it more as his last match. Also, he would go on last if he truly was retiring. This is UNDERTAKER retiring. He better go on last and they better make a bigger deal out of his...
Definitely the Wrestlemania 21 win over Triple H was the most important. Main eventing against Triple H and defeating Triple H to become champion was his moment. It solidified him as the top guy.
Yeah I thought about that.
John Cena losing to two guys who haven't competed in 8 years seems like a bad decision, but they cannot have Brock lose his first match back. So I suggest Brock take Cena out, maybe MMA style, and Cena returns for Summerslam and they face off in a revenge match.
While I wouldn't be surprised to see Big Show and/or Kane retire this year or some time early next year, I don't see this being the end yet and I expect to see them at Wrestlemania next year. I'm hoping Big Show still has enough for another couple of years. He's a great talent, he's very over...
