if this is indeed a one year contract, i could see brock lesnar potentially going undefeated all year (how many fights that is, is beyond me) until being called out by undertaker. Brock v. Taker would be big enough to headline the card.

This crowd won't be the gauge for his standing with the general audience. If the crowds on future shows adopt the "yes" chants and put him even more over, then he has the opportunity to run with his momentum. I also dont hope the yes chants turn into a comedic gag

the biggest issue i had with last night's show is the fact that cena came out and absolutely squashed one of his opponents in the (likely) main even of the ppv. i dont know how they could have made ted look any weaker.

i think everyone wants him vs. jericho... i think that has the potential to be feud of the year material. i am more interested in seeing what they do with his character tomorrow (or tuesday/friday).

I do think that the death of Kurt Cobain had something to do with their overall longevity of success from a nostalgia standpoint. His tragic passing helped create nirvana's legend. and it helped that everything they did up until that point was critically acclaimed..who knows what kind of music...
