    The Art of the "Cash-In"

On April 3, 2005, the first official “Money in the Bank” match took place at Wrestlemania 21. As we know, Edge reigned supreme that evening and earned an unprecedented championship opportunity: the right to challenge for the WWE Championship at ANYTIME within the next year. Surprisingly and...

WWE TLC: Tables Match - John Cena VS Seth Rollins

Normally, I agree with the two of you on a variety of topics, but today, I completely DISAGREE. I look at this stipulation as a way to keep fans interested heading into a "nothing" pay-per-view. It's no secret that the WWE usually goes into cruise-control after Summerslam and doesn't start...

    The Ultimate Debut?

One of the biggest problems in the WWE today has been character development. Fans within the IWC (myself included) have been annoyed by what seems to be the "same old shtick". As a result, their storylines have suffered, mostly from the lack of quality and depth. However, I will give the WWE...

    Are You Kidding Me?!

Since most of the WWE topics that are discussed on this board tend to lead to intense debates, I figured I'd lighten the mood for a change. In this upcoming thread, I'd like to hear what everyone thinks are some of the most POSITIVE and PLEASANTLY SURPRISING things that have occurred within the...

**MERGED** John Cena Thread - Heel Turn, Matches, Etc. (Keep it in here!!)

Ever since John Cena lost to Dolph Ziggler at TLC for the Smackdown MITB briefcase, he has been on a "Road to Redemption". During this time, John's redeemed himself by destroying Dolph in a variety of matches leading into The Royal Rumble. From there, he obviously won The Royal Rumble, and...

    WWE General Complaints Thread

A few weeks ago, Mark Madden wrote an interesting two-part article called "Jump The Shark" (http://www.wrestlezone.com/editorials/263975-jumped-the-shark). He went into some detail talking about the problems of the current WWE product. And while I know that Mark is extremely controversial and...

Royal Rumble VS Money in the Bank

As we all know, winning either the Royal Rumble or Money in the Bank contract can push a WWE superstar's career to the next level. Currently, which match has a better chance of benefiting the winner's career? Or more specifically, think of your favorite WWE superstar, and tell us which match...

All Future Wrestlemania Discussion (Matches, Gimmicks, Angles.... KEEP IT IN HERE!)

As the end of the year winds down, we are clearly entering the "Road to Wrestlemania". In addition, the speculation has begun in regards to some of the marquee matches for Wrestlemania 29. We have heard everything from a rematch between The Rock and John Cena to C.M. Punk vs. The Undertaker...

    Report: Possible Nexus Return?

If the WWE were to bring back Nexus, there would have to be some alterations from the original group. (1) I would NOT want to see so many members. I think 4-5 would be the perfect amount. Otherwise, it gets out of control. (2) The stable would have to have legitimate members who were an...

John Cena the biggest heel the company has ever seen?

It's obviously difficult to predict whether a heel turn can lead to "the biggest heel of all time", but I definitely think that John Cena is capable of becoming a great heel. And if done properly (which is the KEY), I think fans will be very satisfied with the results. So let's try to come up...

Did Shawn Michaels lose too many times at Wrestlemania?

If the WWE was NOT scripted, then I would agree that Shawn Michaels' win-loss record at Wrestlemania is disappointing; however, we all know that the matches have predetermined winners and losers. That being said, Shawn Michaels is "Mr. Wrestlemania" because he is the best at doing the one thing...

How would you handle HBK / Taker after mania

Of course, it depends on who wins the match, but I have a scenario if the Undertaker is victorious. In fact, a few different current storylines would become intertwined with one another. First, as most people probably agree, Sheamus vs. Triple H will take place before Undertaker vs. Shawn...

Shawn Michaels VS Undertaker (Career VS Streak)

The Undertaker is my favorite wrestler of all time. Shawn Michaels is a great wrestler, and I have always enjoyed his ring work as well as his mic work. So I am not here to complain about their match or give reasons why I think they should or should not have this rematch. I just want to come...

    The gimmick PPV is misguided

As usual, the WWE is on the right track but is dropping the ball...again. I actually like the concept of gimmick matches representing certain pay-per-views, BUT...and that is a big but...I do NOT like the fact that the WWE is completely overhauling their pay-per-views and overusing these...

    Carnival Stable

This is actually an interesting idea; however, I agree with a lot of the other posts. You simply can NOT make this a "main event" stable and use main event talent. In my opinion, a circus-freak stable seems a little too corny to use the likes of Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, CM Punk, etc...
