Well after this weeks impact, I got to say I'm not hating the buildup to Sacrifice so far. After a good Lockdown PPV, I thought they might put it on cruise control for a while until after Sacrifice. Then they would bring out the big guns for their second biggest PPV of the year, Slammiversary. I...
My choice is between WWE and TNA, since I can't see ROH, Noah, or PWG on free tv. So between those two, I will choice WWE.
I agree that TNA delivers better PPVs in terms of wrestling. But ultimately they don't mean anything as compared to WWE's PPVs. Say what you will about WWE. Though you...
For me hands down the match of the year is, HBK vs. John Cena in a 55-minute classic on the April 23rd episode of Raw.
From the choices above, I went with Taker/Batista at Mania. To me this was the best match from Mania this year. It was also their best match(individually) too that point in...
I picked Khali vs. Hornswaggle as the worst match. It was the low point of an otherwise great PPV.
If I could have, I would have picked Cena vs. K-Fed. Terrible match!!! But at least they didn't go WCW, and put the WWE Title on K-Fed.
Well this matchup is much better than the proposed JBL/Batista match that WWE had considered for Mania. And on top of that I'm a huge JBL fan. I was probably the only one who actually rooted for him during his title defenses in 2004/05. So the thought of him coming back and main-eventing...
First off, I think Cary Ichter should recuse himself from this. Having him represent Beniot's father as an attorney and then going after the WWE like this is a conflict of interest, imo.
Secondly, if WWE goes through with this it would hurt Georgia more than WWE. Hosting a WWE event helps...
Here's my take on Armageddon '07:
I thought it delivered big time. The six matches I looked forward to (basically all except Khali/Finlay and Punk/Kane vs. BDV/Mark Henry) were good.
I agree that the count out finish in the U.S. Title match was lame. However that didn't take away from what...
You probably enjoyed it b/c guys like Khali and Mark Henry didn't compete as scheduled. Taker/Khali became Taker/Big Show and Batista/Henry became Batista/Mr. Kennedy. Thank God for that. Am I right?
I agree that the GAB '06 was definitely underated, much like No Mercy '06.
Of course if Sting did face Taker at Mania, knowing how classy the guy is, he would probably insist on jobbing to Taker so his streak could continue.
I personally agree with you in that Sting doesn't have anything to prove against someone like Cena. Though I would personally love to see it...
I don't know why WWE couldn't just make a match between Punk and Benjamin for the ECW Title. Oh well, at least they decided against having a one on one match between Punk and either BDV or Mark Henry in favor of this tag match.
Because they made it a tag match, it might be ok.
What about Shawn Michaels? Over the years they have developed a friendship, based on their Christianity. I could see Sting want to wrestle Shawn Michaels at WM.
If Sting were to wrestle at Mania it would be for either Flair or HBK. Not that he harbors any grudge against the others you...
Well after last nights Impact and due to the fact I try not to read the spoilers, I would say Final Resolution will look somewhat like this:
Main Event TNA World Title Match: Kurt Angle(c) w/Tomko, Robert Roode and Karen Angle vs. Christian Cage w/AJ Styles -This match will probably happen...
Fully Loaded 2000 is a great PPV. Probably the best PPV of 2000, imo. I don't think that it's underrated. I think most fans, who go back that far, consider it a great PPV.
The most underrated PPV imo is:
Armageddon '04. Maybe I'm biased b/c I was there live, but it was a good...
If it means Sting can say he has done it all. Then I think he could come to some arrangement, which could see him do one match at WrestleMania 24. Against someone like Flair or HBK. This way both he and the WWE can say he worked the Big Show(not Paul Wight) at least once.
Then WWE could offer...
Kurt Angle is a great wrestler. I think most of us can agree on that. However, that's more of a reason for TNA to have Angle put some of the TNA guys like Samoa Joe over. The fact is that in Angle's 15-month tenure in TNA, it has indeed been Total-Nonstop-Angle.
Think about this, Angle has...
