View Full Version : You're In A Fight, What Wrestling Move Do You Use?

Y 2 Jake

Obviously if you pulled off a Rock Bottom in a legitimate fight. Not only would it look stupid but it would'nt be that effective. But what wrestling move's would work in a fight? Give reason's.

The Samoan Spike: I dont keep my thump taped up, but if you get jabbed in the throat it fuckin' hurt's.

DDT: Somebody's running at you trying to rugby tackle you. Reverse that shit into a DDT and knock them out.

Piledriver: You'll look like a dick, but getting dropped on you're head hurt's.

Has anybody got anymore?

Zandig's Mother F'N Bomb through a table or Drake Younger's vertabreaker.

clotheline.....

i use headlocks in fights all the time( i like to piss people off then kick there ass, then i can say they started it)

low blows are for pussies, but they hurt like fucking hell

yeah ill think of more later

The Canadian Destroyer would look cool, impress the lady's and cripply yourself at the same time.

I agree that a clothesline could be quite painfull.

Low blow's are just evil. I would only do that if they were a gang. Although once somebody puched my girlfriend so I knocked him on his arse and then stomped on his dick. He deserved it though.

Definately the sleeper hold is the top one in my book. There's a move that people actually use in fights, and for good reason nothing pisses me off more than being trapped in the armpit of some asshole.

Also, although it might look a little foolish, the ankle lock is painful as all hell when applied right. I used to lock those on all the time back in my backyard wrestling days. You give enough of a twist on that ankle and they'll tap out real quick.

kyle_wwe
02-25-2007, 07:02 PM
ankle lock.. yah that would hurt

i would say the pedigree if done right it will hurt
the crossface hurts like a bit*h if done properly
and maby the spear but you would have to get a good running start

I dont really see how a spear would hurt, youd prolly just look like a complete idiot. But like, a DDT or like a facecrusher/bulldog type move could hurt pretty badly.

Impact Player
02-25-2007, 08:33 PM
Well, I'd use the most common move the Headlock would help in a fight.

St. Joe
02-25-2007, 08:37 PM
ive thought of more

if you did it right a spear would hurt, but unless you jump them( like a stupid dick) thell just move

Sleepers do work quite well acutally

Full nelsons are fun as shit to do and hard as hell to get out of

Youd look like a retard, but a big boot might work

It would be impossible to do unlees there like uncounicous and it would probably kill them, but a powerbomb, altough ive never fancied having a guys dick in my face.

ill think of yet more later

Since we are talking about a fight, where your opponent would not be "assisting" you in executing the manuever, I would have to go with the DDT, Superkick, or I would love to Gore someone. Once on the ground, an Ankle Lock or the Camel Clutch would be great.

crippler2525
02-25-2007, 09:31 PM
the crossface:if you apply it in a right position the other guy will scream like a bitch and you can really hurt someone using that move.
anaconda vice:try it,you can make pass out a person with that move

championofchampions89

You could knock them on the ground and do the stfu if done properly it would hurt I have done it to friends in my little federation I created and they are almost in tears

The Enforcer

Yea I would have to go with the Spear and Superkick. I think those 2 could cause some pain if done right.

The Full Nelson is good. A powerbomb would hurt, if you executed it like Kevin Nash, but actually drop the guy on his neck. A spear really knock the air out of you. For submissions, you can't go wrong with the Crossface. You could break somebody's nose with that move.

Swanton4Life
02-28-2007, 03:40 AM
superkick...that would break some1s jaw
the chick kick...i did that 2 some1 who mugged me and he got knocked out
go hammerlock or crossface chickenwing and then kick their legs....slap on the ankle lock
a normal armbar that taker uses really hurts
a sleeper is good if applied properly...someone did it 2 me and i was almost out within 20 seconds
SPEAR.....one of the top moves to do and if u hurt them enough u can go straight into the ankle lock
619 can pick up the chicks but probably wont hurt much
spinebuster if u can not do a rolling 1 and do it wen someone is running at u
enzuigiri....thats if u get caught on the superkick....they r surprisingly easy 2 do

The Spear is a tackle, so it is going to hurt if you get the shoulder right into the gut and smash them into something.

i have been in many fights where i used wrestling moves
ex: just the other day a dude caught me in a bad mood(scrawny kid im pretty big) i punched him a few times then gave him an F-U

i've used headlocks,suplex,even a powerbomb
i would prob. use a pedigree if i was'nt pulled off someone b4 i had the chance

Chris Sabin's move where he puts em up like a power bomb, then turns them over into a ddt. Maybe a spiral tap here and there. Perhaps a few canadian destroyers, and then a style's clash for the 1, 2, 3. That's what I would do if I got jumped. HA

GORE!! GORE!! GORE!!, shit looks painful, Stunner would be good too, and if you could get them in position for it The Shatterd Dreams could end a fight pretty quickly, as far as submissions go, probably the guillitine choke, I guessing if done right I could put a guy out quickly with it, but in a seriousness if push came to shove I'd probably just whack them with a forign object of some short (they use it in wrestling all the time) then stomp the hell out of them till somebody pulled me off them, but it takes quite a bit to piss me off to the point of me unleashing violent hell on somebody else, I'm a pretty easy going kinda guy

Full Nelson. Seem like an odd choice? If you can lock and hold your fingers, the person you are fighting cannot swing. From there, just watch for a mule kick to the groin and try to put some knees down on the person. Pretty debilibating. Also, from that prone position, a few headbuts to the back of the skull should do the trick.

Other than that, a front headlock. If you hit a front headlock your opponent is more concerned with getting up. If they come at you, you can sprawl back and take them down by putting your chest weight on their upper shoulders. Then it's knees to the face unless you just want to calm the person down, in which case, hold them until they stop. If they don't, the front headlock can easilly become a choke hold.

this has to be the stupidest thing i've read, woah...i'll do this and this and this, ya right if anyone knows how to fight they wouldn't let all this gay shit happen to them. Sure it's cool to see it in a ring but I'd dare someone to try and powerbomb or piledrive someone esle...ok not gonna happen and a superkick if some moron asshole backed up like that id grab his leg and kick his knee cap inwards breaking it then laugh at him, oh wait if you did a superkick would u slap the side of ur leg too to make the sound effect? What a joke, sleeper hold...again no the other person would be fighting back too as in throwing elbows to your kidneys and trying to punch ur face...anyways I'm done ranting this thread is fuckin retarded

I rember when i was back in high school two kids got into a fight. One was a big guy and the other was at least 70 pounds less then the other. Any way the smaller guy went for the big guys legs to get him down but failed all the big guy did was pick him up upside down and did a sitdown piledriver on the sidewalk. The kid just laid there with his eyes going to the back of his head. About a week later the small kid came back to school with a neck brace. After seeing that i would go with the piledriver.

Hahaha These are some nice stories. I once got in a fight with my little brother at home. It was just a normal scuffle, but when I knocked him on the floor, he was crying, and I was showing off to a friend, so I did somthing to damn funny. I picked him up BY THE CROTCH and dropped him on a coffee table! It was so funny! The table was fine, but my brother was crying like a bitch for at least 10 minutes in another room. I got grounded for a week.

Another story, this one a bit more fitting, a friend of mine was actually play wrestling with a kid at school (we all did it) and some guy alking by called my friend fat. My friend was 235, and this guy was 150. My friend told the kid that they should go fight outside, so they went out and fought. It was winter at the time, I should have mentioned that. Anyways, it was a pityful looking fight, just a bunch of grabing and pushing, no punches were thrown. They both watch to much wrestling. Anyways, my friend gave this other kid a Powerbomb/Chokeslam thing, it was pretty crappy looking, but the kid just rollled onto his stomach and just layd there half laughing, half saying oww. So my friend stated "Stomping a mudhole" in the guys ass! The guy literally got bootfucked! It was the funnist fight I ever saw!

But if I was in a fight, what wrestling move would I use? Probably my trampoline special, the Dropkick. Wether they are standing up or lyinbg down, the dropkick is always fun. Especially when you leave a footprink on someones forehead!

If i got into a fight with a guy about 30 lbs lighter, I would do a chokeslam, followed by a 5-Knuckle Shuffle. then once he gets up F.U.!

Same Weight: Probably a Masterlock followed by a pedigree

Somebody way bigger than me: a spear going for the knees

DONT DO THE DROP KICK! I rember play fighting with my freind and i decided to go for the Foley dropkick(when you dropkick the guy and land on your back) i hit him square in the chest and he moved maybe a little more than a inch back. I land on my tailbone and start screaming like a little girl roling on the floor. God if that had been a real fight my ass would have been dead.

Æ
06-27-2007, 02:48 PM
I'll go with Malenko's ORIGINAL move, Thr Crippler Crossface, actually, an STF well aplied, hurts like hell! Any quick submission move is the best choice i guess..
if its a lighter opponent, a camel clutch :D but DONT TRY to practice it with any unknown: when i tried it,thank god it was my dad who done it, years ago when we used to play wrestling, and that was the most painful thing in the world.

for super heavyweights, running is the best move :) just kidding, but if your girl is present, try a flying kick, that should give you time for getting help from a buddy or someone else.

06-28-2007, 10:53 AM
yeah, agreeing with TJ2069 on this one, i dropkicked a friend on a trampolineonce, and that hurt, even on a trampoline, if you screw up the landing and hit the back of your head, your neck could snap. I think the best option is just to go for the knees, it's really the only weak point you can go for without looking like a dick (eyes and crotch = cowardly). A swift kick to the knees, or even a spear if the guy's huge, can pop the kneecap in the wrong way, almost crippling the guy, allowing time to either subdue the guy, knock him out, or run like hell.

Obviously, this advice should only be taken in self-defence. ;)

I was about 13 and got into a fight with this kid and i ended up using the good ole' Crossface Chicken Wing.. You want to talk about a move that hurts look no further.. I had the kid crying in about 10 seconds... and you could actually use this in a fight

TommyDreamer

The stinkface, of course.. what else?

(chuckles) Honestly, though, there aren't a whole lot of wrestling manuevers, at least in terms of professional wrestling, whose emulation would increase your chances of success in a shoot-fight.

Eight years ago, when home performance of professional wrestling moves was at a dangerous high, I can remember having many "matches" with my friends that would, sooner rather than later, involve someone intentionally not choreographing their moves (I hated being legit choked by my idiot friends who could just as easily have flexed their arm muscles and made it look just as real)

One of my friends, the exterior of his house had a handrail, that reached, by itself only about seven or eight feet off the ground; it seperated the house from his chained-up dog and was a perfect spot for a high-flying move; not too much room, or too little.

I remember lying there as I had seen superstars do it, with hands folded at the midsection to protect my ribs, when both of the friends I had been wrestling with, Bobby and Aaron, jumped from the handrail onto me, respectively imitating a splash and a Senton Bomb- though the Senton was really more of a tuck-and-roll in mid air that was far from as spectacular as the Hardy's, and the Splash was just brutal- especially considering that between the two was more around 400-500 lbs., and Bobby didn't get up before Aaron jumped either, leaving me on the bottom of the human pile-up.

Probably the most effective of wrestling moves would be either a form of submission (as most of these moves, with obvious exceptions like the Mandible Claw, were deriven from MMA-style sports) or a vertical strike ala The Great Khali or Umaga's finishers.

If my opponent was down, the "move" (if you could call this a move) that I would use is an old favorite among heels; I'd walk across their abdomen.
Every time I've seen a wrestler do that on TV, I cringed.

Especially with the bigger guys, cause that one or two seconds that the wrestler lifts his other leg off the mat, and all that leverage goes toward the downed opponent, is very painful.

Please. Don't try this at home.

The best would be a damn hiptoss since i use that shit most of the time on the same weight person. Follow it with a rear naked choke. And if hes struggling get him in the armbar and snap that bitches arm like a twig. Of course all these have to to be very well applied. I dont worry since i took judo so yea dont use any cheesy wrestling moves just use a hip toss/sto followed by a rear naked choke/tazzmission/armbar and thatd do the trick. Works very good around the ladies....

Somone brought up some backyard wrestling in here and I got a couple stories from that.. The first being a botched gullotine leg drop on me. My buddy was about 10ft up onto of a slide and I'm laying on the ground waiting for him to jump. He finally jumps and screws up the move.he ends up coming down and kicking me straight in the face.

The second is me and my buddy wanted to do a 3d on this kid. Well we do it but I drop the kid before my buddy hits the cutter part on him and we drop the kid straight on his head. We took off running because we thought we broke his neck. The kid ended up being fine.

I just though of another story. A few years ago at school, a few friends of mine were play wrestling. They were both about 130. My other friend, already mentioned in a previous comment, weighted 225 at the time, and he was the ref. Anyways, the two guys fighting were fighting worse than Brock and Goldberg. So my bigger friend decided to give up reffing and made it a 2 on 1. At one point in time he grabbed my smaller friend and went to give him a powerbomb. As soon as he lifted his head out from between his legs, he lost his ballence and fellforward, dropping my friend on his head. My smaller friend didn't move, but he has half moaning half laughing, so my bigger friend decided to ref again and gave him the 10 count. He though the smaller kid was really hurt, but he was fine.
I'll be posting more stories of fighting mishaps involving actual wrestling moves as I remember them. Thats all we did at school was fight.

To be honest i would use one of three moves if not all of them.

The first one if i was fighting someone was younger than me and mucgh smaller i would first do this:

I would do the Masterlock then immediatly kick them in the nuts and then again the Master lock. Then i would do the Tazz- Mision. I would then do the Angle lock! Then i would bang his head like the chicks do it lol!! I would def. do the Walls of Jericho!

lol i hate watching the submission moves but i would def. do them

if u have enough time, figure-4. my uncle broke my dad's ankle with that when they were kids

Believe it or not, if u were on pavement the FU could work
DDT, but make it look cool like the rock's old DDT, with the arm wrap and the kick

The Superkick, but only do it if u can kick the chin. Don't look like a obese retard and attempt it and kick the chest or fall over

When my buddies and I wrestle around in the locker room after lifting for football we would always match up against someone equal in size... Id always have to go up against the kid that would compete with me for everything... He talked soooo much shit and right before the team said go I was just planning this out... Started out about 5 feet away and hit him with a spear... while he was down Ihad my arms wrapped around his legs still and twisted him over for the walls of jericho (boston crab....) sounds retarted and it didnt last long maybe 5 seconds because the team jumped all over me and said dont do anymore of that wrestling shit... We started again and we locked up and I did a hip toss and gave him an ankle lock... again it was over but this kid was in tears at the end... That was my few short minutes in my wrestling glory... Seriously though if you ever put someone in the Walls you will I mean You WILL look like a retard...

I've been in a fight before. The guy had longer arms than me, but I had the weight advantage. He lead into me with a hook, and I stepped into it letting him hit the back of my head. Then while I was insidehis punch I put him in a head lock, following with a couple punches and knees to the face, and finishing it off with a hard knee to the gut.

the samoan spike does work as if you put some pressure with your thumb on the the artery Umaga aims for ( even though if you look closely he just hits the chest) it will stop him breathimg. Trust me on that one.

also Orton's backbreaker looks painful.

Kudos Mr Jake, best thread ever. I enter every couple of days and go straight to this one to see if it has any new posts.

In answer to the question, probably an armbar. Simple, easy and painful. However would love to use SCM or something crazy like a muscle buster or a 450 splash. LOL
Nah on second thoughts maybe i should stick to the armbar

probably Nick Gage's or Disco Machines Chokebreaker that looks so painful and Finish the poor soul off with Super Dragons Curb Stomp

and for people who like to go candice michelle style just walk up to the sucka and whack him over the head with a plastic wand and do the Go Daddy.com dance that should work efficently

But since i have a irish heritage in me i might have to go all out with a trusty Shillelagh and get Hornswoggle to finish the sucka off with his trademark Lepreton Bomb yup thats the most realistic outcome for a physical conflict i might have

I've actually used Orton's backbreaker in a fight, but instead of releasing, I held on and lifted him up so he was suspended in mid-air. Lot's of pressure, he gave up fast.

As much as I would be tempted to give someone a 5 star Frog Splash, it probably wouldn't be feasible. I would have to stick with a good old fashion eye gouge to get the upper hand in a fight. No one is going to mount to much offense after being poked in the eyes a couple of times.

Realistically, I'd pick the Drop Toe Hold. Most of the wrestling manoeuvers which occur in the ring would not be feasible in a real fight. Let's face it, if you're in a fight, I doubt you are going to get the opportunity to do a Tombstone Piledriver, or the ever-devastating FU (slight sarcasm noted).

But taking down a guy, even if he is bigger than you, by taking his feet out from under him and him landing on his face with no opportunity to catch himself or block the impact, I think that would do the job nicely.

I've actually used a Superkick in real life, and it was pretty much it. The problem with it is I am 5'10 and its basically worthless if the other person is taller than you.

To those who say they would just move... you'd be suprised how fast you can kick someone. People aren't really these machines of lightning reflexes. I don't care how much trash they talk. Especially on a forum.

P.S. That superkick landed me in trouble with the law, so no.. I'd say it wasn't worth it.

I fight with my brother sometimes and i usually use a Tazzmission, that hurts pretty bad as it's basically a choke. Ankle lock is very effective if you can get them down. Sharpshooter hurts real bad as well as walls of jericho.
i'd be interested to try the camel clutch and an STF, see how much they really hurt. I imagine they do a lot though
apart from that i use headlocks a lot and armbars hurt. oh and hammer locks hurt apparently

AJ Style's flying forearm shot, Punk's kicks, Koslov's headbutt, then probably kick 'em in the stomach and a Fame-asser or an axe kick. Codebreaker/Pay Dirt would be fucking hilarious too.

Do me a favor guys, please don't ever try to do a wrestling move to someone who's trained to fight. Really not a good idea. I'm sure this is just a fun post...at least I hope so.

I've trained MMA for years...let's look at the breakdown

Superkick - you'd be so nice as to give me your leg so it can be broken...anyone trained would see that coming a mile away...after that I hope you like limping.

Pile Driver/Rock Bottom (basically any exaggerated move to lift them off the ground without their assistance) - tell the truth, is anyone talking on here really strong enough to lift a 200 - 300 lbs man (and YES they are out there). Maybe if you do it to a High Schooler....

Clothesline - oooh goody, not only do you knock them silly (for a few moments) if they're big enough you break your arm too! What fun. If you make sure you bend your arm slightly, maybe you'll just dislocate your shoulder.

Rock Bottom - A HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Obviously a joke.

Walls of Jericho - this one might just work if you knock them loopy...but then again you deal with someone who's been trained and they won't be in it for long.

Armbar - now THIS one will work. Executed properly...NO ONE is getting out.
Throw them down and apply the armbar from the side and lean back and they're in for a fun time.

Spinebuster - if they're running toward you...then great...but then you have to deal with the whole manslaughter/murder thing...cause if they hit the back of their head, they're done...then you be away for a long long time.

Sleeper - good move...done it before in a play fight (friends fighting)...what's even more fun is when they try to stomp your feet or hit you anywhere behind...drop down...they have to go with you and then THEY'RE DONE.

I'm sure there's more...but I'll write about those later.

Cheers.

Kata-ha-Jime/Tazzmission. Could legitimately expel all air from their lungs, effectively crushing their larynx or whatever. Well, that or stiff shots combined with an Alabama Slam through a table or haystack.

Funny topic... Well the more "spectacular" wrestling moves just don't work unless the person it is being done to helps you... I'm thinking of things like Powerbombs here, but even a Bodyslam is nigh impossible to do unless you are pretty big and your opponent is pretty small, if they're not helping you lift them up... Of course, if you are around 250 pounds, and your opponent is not - I guess you can do pretty much any wrestling move (if you get a hold of them).

For me (of rather average stature) I think mostly submission moves would work. I've actually found the Cobra Clutch to be quite useful, as it can really do some nice pain to the shoulder. However I believe a real choke would be more useful, if you can get it applied... But well, in "reality", most people will indeed fight back (like trying to punch you overhead and what not) instead of just waiting for a ref to lift your arm once, twice... but NO THE THIRD TIME IT STAYS UP!!! lol...

A Spear can hurt too if done right and with sufficient impact... big risk of missing though, could mess yourself up pretty bad.

I suppose in a real fight, most wrestling moves won't work too well as most of them just need the opponent to help you execute them.

Um, The superkick is obviously deadly, it ended Ric Flair's career. Even though Ric gets beat up by his girlfriends boyfriend, doesn't discredit the Super Kick. I one time was being mugged by Tito Ortiz, or someone hispanic, hit the ol' super kick, and I think he died.

Uh...Ric Flair's career ended because it was scripted to end...not because of the superkick. I'm sure someone who's "knocked out" would start crying while being covered after being hit with the move.

I was there for that match...not a dry eye in the house.

Somebody said 'The Pounce' - That would definately look so cool if the guy is dazed and doesnt know where you are and then BAM!!! a POUNCE!,

A headlock, but a really hard one that put the face into the dirt, cant breath while you are face in dirt.

The Heart Punch

The Cobra Clutch, Not exactly effective but if you take it to the ground you can use knee lifts.

Ankle Lock and Figure Four - Both extremely painful and each can break bones.

Clothesline from hell - Eventhough Kane didnt see JBL's clothesline down there it would be good enough to work.

Texas Cloverleaf - My favorite submisssion - Painful and rarely used.

Elbow drop - If you put the point of the elbow into someone's chest hard enough it will really hurt

Booker T's axe Kick - definately devastating if done to the back of the head or middle of the spine

Khali Chop LOL!!! Sounds stupid but if you take the time to chop yourself in the head and then think about how it would hurt if you really meant to hurt someone with it.

A regular Body slam would also do some good damage

Moves that would be awesome to see happen but impossible to do:

* Bourne's Shooting Star Press (With the feet grab) off of the dugout or backstop of a baseball field ,* Jackknife Powerbomb - This is more vicious that the normal bomb
* Moonsault (standing or off of something), * Melina's Split Leg Drop, * Vader Bomb (only if you are much larger than your opponent), * Canadian Destroyer,* Van-Terminator, * The Kendrick (formerly known as Sliced Bread #2) * Swanton Bomb *Tombstone *Doomsday Device (You will need help on this one) *The 3-D (again - help required)
