Who Would you like to see get inducted to the WWE HOF and why?

1.The Rock-I Think they shoulda inducted him n Austin at the same time. That woulda been so cool. He is the hulk hogan of the attitude era
2.Undertaker(if this really is his last year)-He is the phenom hands down he has a guaranted seat in the HOF.
3.HBK(same as Undertaker)- HBK Started the attitude era but had to stop cause of injuries. HBK also revolutionized wrestling with the ladder match at WM10.

Now If these 3 Attitude Era icons all get inducted at the same time that will be a site to see.

Now who you think is getting this years seats???

I would say Trish Stratus and Lita along with The rock and them as you previously mentioned.
Why them?
IMO i think they revolutionized the Women's Division i think they brought respect upon the woman's title

You know, I totally agree with you on those three, but I think with The Undertaker, it will be later then next year. The rumors of him retiring anytime soon were reported false and I can see him going for another three years or so. I would love to see the Rock in the HOF. Grew up watching him and he was one of my favorites. Had so much charisma and put on great matches. I would love to see these people in the HOF this year aswell.

1. Owen Hart- I know it probably won't happen due to the fact that is wife doesn't want it, but I think he deserves it. Was a great technician in the ring. Former King of the Ring, Intercontiental Champion, and Tag Team champion. Had a 13 year career starting in 86.

2. Macho Man Randy Savage- This guy was unbelievable. One of the most charsmatic wrestlers ever. One of the best. I think he has a good chance seeing as they promote him now with his new DVD on his career. Former WWF Champion, Intercontintal champion, and also a King of the Ring. Maybe I'm dreaming, but I hope he makes it.

Yokozuna- Now I know some won't agree, but I thought he was one of the best big men there ever was. Former WWF Champion, Tag Champion with Owen Hart, and even won the Royal Rumble in 1993. He had a 12 year run starting in the AWA in 84, then working himself up to the WWF.

I believe this upcoming Hall of Fame will or should include:

1. Macho Man Randy Savage - since they have the dvd I believe they are telling us something.
2. Jake Roberts- No matter how is personal life has been he should be apart of the HOF.
3. Honky Tonk Man - Hold the IC title longer than any other and he still occasionally makes appearance I think it's time for him to be inducted.
4. Legion of Doom - They always do a tag-team and I believe there induction is long overdew.
5. Rick Rude - I believe Rude was a great wrester with a great character. It's time WWE acknowledges that.
6. Ron Simmons - He was the first WCW African american world champion. He was with WWE for over a decade and in my opinion deserves a spot in the HOF.
7. Mr. T - I know he has denied that he would do HOF, but hopefully WWE can convince him. He would take care of the announcer/celebrity spot they have every year.

Any Comments?

DeadMan 5000, very nice pics I would love to see all 3 in the HOF.

I know it will never happen (because of the relationship) but I would like to see Bruno Sammartino finally get a spot in the HOF for the simple reason that it is not complete without him (11 years as world champ, I think thats a no-brainer).

I would have to say Macho Man Randy Savage....
randy savage was arguablly one of the best wrestlers in the wwf...
hes one of the few who should already be in the hall of fame.
i know that vince and the warrior have issues, but im starting to think savage and mcmahon have issues as well. up until they released the macho madness dvd a few weeks back.
so im assuming everythings fine and hell get a sopt in the 2010 hof.... hopefuilly

well if i had to choose a top 3 it would be
1) macho man randy savage. with his new dvd coming out it should happen. he his without question a legend
2) million dollar man ted dibaise. with his son ted geting a bigger push this year and his other son bret in fcw he should get inducted by his boys. the timing is now
3) bam bam bigelo. he died a while back and hasent been inducted yet. next year will be the 15 year annivesary of his big match with l.t. and thats who should induct him

WWE seems to have a formula in place much like their cards as to who they induct to present and give more important names recognition. They usually do a manager/announcer, a tag team, a promoter, a popular/unsung hero, and of course a big draw so here's who I think would get in this year

The Road Warriors
This seems like the only best tag team out there nowadays that fans still remember and they were the best across the board so it makes sense. They could have NFL player James Laurenitis make the induction or maybe Brad Rehgans, but a likely inductor would be Johnny Ace

Stu Hart
This a no brainer soley based on the guys that came out of the dungeon without even talking about Bret or Owen. It has been widley said that Stu Hart is one of the most respected guys in the history of the business and he most certainly deserves a place in the HOF especially since sadly Owen won't be getting in anytime soon if at all. Logically, Bret would make the induction but with the Hart Dynasty gaining steam it certainly wouldn't suprise me to see the 3 Hart Dungeon graduates make the induction if Bret is still sour on the idea of being in the same room with HBK, based on recent comments though I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem with it.

If Stu isn't getting in this year I could see Roy Shire out of San Fransisco get the nod due to Pat Patterson having wrestled out of that territory and being a big star out there he would be a good fit for the induction. Based on Arizona being close to the west coast I could see it as a slight possibilty. Also Don Owen out of the Pacific Northwest is possible as well especially since Roddy Piper is in the WWE loop as of today and he was always so loyal to Owen as he was one of the most respected guys in wrestling as well. Angelo Poffo would be a stretch here but of course Savage would have to induct him and if he's coming back into the fold a bit it only make sense to put him in instead. But since this is my HOF and I'm Hart family/Dungeon/Candaian wrestling mark, I'll go with Stu here.

Gart Hart
This is a good pick here with his passing over a year ago and him being a huge mentor to Micheal Hayes. Of course Hayes would make the induction if not then his son Gary ( I think that's his name) could do it since he is in the business.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts
This is long over due and as long as Jake can behave and stay out of the limelight of negativity this would make a good induction. Savage's DVD has lots of Jake Roberts footage and it seems likely as well. For his many faults people say Roberts is as good as there's ever been when that red light goes on and it's time to give him the honors. If they don't go with Roberts I can see Ted Dibiase get in since he has some footage on Savage's DVD and of course his son is a star in the making in the WWE and his movie will begin that evolution pretty soon. I would like to see both in the same year but not likely so I'd like to see Jake go in first then Ted could go in in 2011 when Ted Jr. is hopefully a believable perennial main eventer.

Macho Man Randy Savage
The DVD is a foregone conclusion here for this induction, whether or not Savage will be the main attraction is a whole other issue and personally I find it hard to believe at this point that he would be but based on other potential HOF'ers Savage is going to be the big draw to the 2010 HOF especially if his DVD continues to sell well enough to merit that. As for who might induct Savage, Hogan would be logical especially if he is involved in next year's big show but definetly not likely since the two have major beef. The most likely candidate would be Ricky Steamboat for obvious reasons. A stretch possibility of another big HOF inductee to draw everyone in would be The Rock, while it's unlikely I'm sure the WWE would like to get him in the ring against Cena for XXVI and The Rock makes Disney movies catered to WWE's big demographic so it possibly but not likely, too soon.

Other potential HOF inductees for 2010:
Bob Backlund-LONG over due!
Trish Stratus-Maybe but her not participating at Wrestlemania 25 may have set her back.
King Kong Bundy- Big star in the 80's and likely still on good terms with the WWE.
Sting-Not likely but if he is retiring soon as rumored Vince will see dollar signs in the idea of getting Sting on WWE TV and hopefully to wrestle one more match on the biggest stage of all, but doubtful at this point.

I would have to say The Rock:Great mike worker/wrestler great pick
:undertaker2: Undertaker:The Best simply great over the years he has always helped the WWE
HBK: Do I really need to say Why?
The Bushwackers They are great and come from my country New Zealand!!!!
:robvandam: Rob Van Dam: Some might question about this but if he isn't going to get back in the ring then who better than Mr (Insert Day of Week Here) Night

An also I know these two are in TNA but they should also be in Mick Foley, And Kevin Nash (as diesel)

WWE would never never eveRR! put the Rock, undertaker , & HBK at the same time . be a little more realistic for your 2010 hall of fame choices. jarose24 has more realistic choices then you. . i can see road warriors ,stu hart maybe, but i just can't figure out who WWE would induct in Phoenix,Arizona unless it was kevin nash. but kevin nash works for tna . so that is not going to happen.

My dream HOF would be to see the Rock, HBK, and Undertaker inducted but as it has been said, it's only a dream.

My picks are:

The Rock: He was one tof the biggest icons of the attitude era and his mic skills are legendary.

Randy Savage: Didn't really watch wrestling at this time but heard great things so he's my pick.

Trish Stratus or Lita: Both brought greatness to the women's division so either one or both would be great.

Finally, Legion of Doom: One of the most dominant Tagteams of their time.

I feel the same as far as seing Macho Man, Jake Roberts, Rick Rude, and Million Dollar Man going in. HBK and the Undertaker will go in but not for a while. The Rock going in the Hall of Fame could happen but not likely for a long time, the same with Owen Hart. I don't think William Perry, Pete Rose, or even Coco B Ware should of been inducted. Yeah they were great athletes but didnt have a thing to do with wrestling except showing up at Wrestlemania. Coco B Ware was entertaing and sold a lot of Piledriver albums, j/k. He was a great performer but not Hall of Famer material in my eyes. Legion of Doom and Arn Anderson/ Tully Blanchard should go in too. I would even like to see Brian Pillman and Demolition go in as well.

My picks are:

HBK - I keep hearing WM 26 is his last if that is the case I'm pretty sure he will be inducted like they did with Flair.

Undertaker - I hear mixed things about if he is done or not at WM 26, if he is I look for him to be inducted as well.

The Rock - was a huge draw for WWE back in the day, but will The Rock take the time out of his acting acting career to accept?

Macho Man Randy Savage - it would be great but unless Vince and Randy make up it won't happen.

Sunny - She was the first Diva of the 90's and she is the inspiration for many Divas today.

I don't think they'll do Owen quite yet. Just because its tragic and still probably very fresh in peoples minds and then Vince would probably have to ok it with Bret cause Vince would want Bret involved.

This is my list of who I think should be inducted in 2010:

1. Macho Man Randy Savage - As said earlier, the release of the DVD pretty much seals the fact that he's at least on speaking terms with Vince right now. Plus, everyone knows he deserves it for his contributions to the wrestling business. Who will induct him? Ricky Steamboat, perhaps?

2. The Legion of Doom/Road Warriors - IMO, The greatest tag team of all time (with Team 3D nipping at their heels in terms of titles). The first Triple Crown tag-team champs. They personified tag-team wrestling for more than 20 years. They dominated the big three federations of the 80's and 90's (WWF, WCW and NWA). All the missteps late in their career aside, they deserve it. Who would I like to see induct them? If he's not put in there with them, Paul Ellering. He was their manager for so long. If someone else, then maybe John Laurenatis because of the family tie.

3. Ravishing Rick Rude - This is my dark horse pick to get in. Rude was a great character for the era he competed in. Arrogant, muscular and a great showman. It's a shame he left us so soon. As for who would induct him, it'd have to be Bobby Heenan. No one else could do it justice.

4. Arn Anderson - "The Enforcer" may not have had the illustrious career that his best pal Ric Flair had, but he definitely played a part in some of wrestling's most memorable moments. A founding member of the most elite stable in the history of pro wrestling, The Four Horsemen, "Double A" laid the foundation for true grit wrestlers. No silly gimmicks or costumes. Just straight-ahead wrestling. He's always been one of my favorites. As for who would induct him, I'd say Flair, but he inducted Steamboat last year. Who else? Tully Blanchard? J.J. Dillon? Ole? It's up in the air.

5. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase - He's been deserving to get in for a long time. Ted Sr. had a great career. Second-generation wrestler, came up in the era of unique characters, and the "Million Dollar Man" gimmick was one of the best heel gimmicks ever. He's been involved in some of the greatest matches in the early days of Wrestlemanias. And I'm more than 99.9% sure his son would induct him.

As for who I think most likely will - Savage for sure. Perhaps Stu Hart or Bob Backlund, as mentioned earlier. I'm trying to think of any other older wrestlers (1960s-early '80s) that should be in. Hopefully DiBiase and the Road Warriors make it this year. I think now that Vince is getting on better terms with the Hart family, Owen may be inducted in a couple of years. I think HTM has an outside chance. Perhaps next year for him, as well as Ron Simmons.

The Million Dollar Man grew up in AZ. So I could see him getting in.

As for The Rock he will be the 1st,3rd gen. superstar I belive in the HOF so they will wake a big deal about that.

I also heard Bob Backlund said not yet he still thinks he has one more run left in him.

As many have stated, I think it's about time for Randy Savage to get in. Everyone knows that he would have been in years ago had it not been for his bad blood with Vince(although the mere existence of his rap album takes away a great deal of credibility . . . jk . . . kinda). With his recent dvd release, this is probably the likeliest time to induct him.

I'm almost positive that Ted Dibiase will be inducted in 2010. Now that his son is becoming more well known, younger fans will have at least some interest in seeing this(moreso than plenty of other veterans at least.) And since he's from Arizona, it makes it even more likely.

Sable and Chyna - They both revolutinized women's wrestling.
The British Bulldog- Had a fantastic IC title match at SS 92 and perennial WWF Title contender
Razor Ramon- The Bad Guy

I hope the Rock will get inducted this year mainly because it will be in Phoenix and I'll be able to go lol. Plus he'll headline this years event similar to the way Austin did last year. I also hope Owen Hart will finally be able to be inducted. He was one of the best workers in the company and its a shame hasn't been inducted yet. Hopefully his wife or family or whoever is holding out will come to their senses.

I've been jocking the same 4 people for about the last 5 years!
Randy Savage
Jake Roberts
Road Warriors

Who cares what they did "outside the ring"! The HOF should be for "in-ring" actions only (vignettes included)!!!!

But after last years DEBOCALE of a inductee KOKO B.WARE....If I were ANY one of these guys, I would tell vince to STICK IT!
There have been some people inducted that I wasnt too sure about, cuz I didnt know enough about them. But not KOKO! I watched this guy when I was a kid, and I still just dont understand the induction!! I dont know for sure, but wasnt he only in WWE (WWF) for a few years? He was most famous for the bird that sat on his shoulder. My favorite move of his was when he stood over a downed opponent and pretended like he was taking a shit right on the guys face!! Thats a Hall of Famer? I think not!

Vince even asking these guys to FOLLOW Koko B. Ware into the HOF is just straight-up DISRESPECTFUL!! And...If I was them...I would respectfully decline for THIS reason!!

Savage deserves it but it'll never happen, yes they put out the DVD, but that was to just make money off him and insult him. He popped the princess's cherry and he'll never get in for that, Vince never lets his grudges go unless it is good for business! I don't think Taker or HBK will make it, and I think the Rock might happen but I doubt it since fans are salty with him for leaving, unless Rock agrees to one more match I don't see him getting into the HOF. I'd say the big name for next year will be a mind blower. I'd like to see Lex Luger get in. He slammed yoko like hogan did Andre, and yet wasn't around WWE long, still had a great career. I think the big name will be Vince himself, maybe to continue the feud with donald. As he deserves it more than Rock or anyone, without vince you wouldn't know any of there names.

Tenta
06-23-2009, 06:33 PM
Aha... A great topic that really made me think out my choices, and really had me stretch to what I felt the WWE would do for this year's HOF.

First name....
John Tenta

http://www.accelerator3359.com/Wrestling/pictures/tenta.jpg

No, I'm actually very much serious about this pick. Usually, the WWE has a plan surrounding how they induct wrestlers, and they bring in one guy that is a bit of a jobber, or a star that has passed away. John Tenta was one of the absolute best big men you will ever find in professional wrestling. He was always a company man, and always did just what his company in which he worked for asked him to do. A Mountain of a man, The Earthquake came right into the WWE, and instantly started a feud with the biggest name of his era, Hulk Hogan. He got the better end of Hulk, and gave Hulk more trouble than he had ever seen before. He was the first wrestler to sideline Hulk Hogan, cracking his ribs, and becoming a heel that intimidated Hulk Hogan to every possible extent. He even forced The Hulkster to add a fourth commandment, in telling kids to believe in themselves. He would go on to feud with the likes of Warrior, Savage, before settling into tag team with The Natural Disasters, and becoming one of the most feared teams in professional wrestling. While John may have been feared in the ring, he was as gentle a giant as you'll ever find outside of it. John always made time for the fans, and particularly loved children, which is quite quixotic when one considers his look and girth. Indeed, Tenta gave his life to the business, dying in 2006 due to bladder cancer. I know, it may not seem realistic to the likes of you, but John Tenta sacrificed everything he had for the business that he loved. What better way to reward the man for all of his service than to give John Tenta a spot in the Hall of Fame.

The Four Horsemen

http://i1.iofferphoto.com/img/item/796/677/66/wzqSuatDjXyA7cN.jpg

Ok, admittedly, you're placing four people in here for the price of one, what with JJ Dillon, Arn and Ole Anderson, and Tully Blanchard. Simply put, without this group, there are no large renegade groups running roughshod over their company. You can forget about the nWo, DX, Evolution, and all of the groups we remember so fondly. These are the originals. These are the men that did whatever they want, whenever they want. They are responsible for the charismatic wrestlers that you see nowadays, and the muscle behind the man that may be the best wrestler in professional wrestling, Ric Flair. These men, by themselves, are hall of famers, but the fact is that placing these men together would be a wonderful moment in the history of the WWE. I really feel that WWE screwed the pooch by only inducting Ric at Wrestlemania 24. This is the way to rectify it, by having Arn, Tully, Ole, and JJ come on up, and accept the award. Hell, even if you can't get Ole, bring in Barry Windham. He's just as deserving, if not more so, than Ole Anderson.

Ted DiBiase

http://www.411mania.com/game_article_pictures/6600.jpg

One of the all time greats the sport of professional wrestling had to offer. A second generation star, Ted had the sport in his blood, though he never knew just how much so at an early age. A natural, he started off small in the Mid-South Territories and in the NWA. People realized here how god he would become, but I'm sure no one could guess just great of a heel he would become. He was one of the all time best, able to get a reaction in whatever state he was in. He was the kind of wrestler you'd pay to watch him get his ass kicked. He was one of the best wrestler you'll ever find, and was involved in some of the most memorable moments in pro wrestling. With his devilish cackle, his entrance music that remains timeless, and his catch phrase of "Everybody has a price for the Million Dollar Man!", this man was one of the all time great character's in wrestling.

Whew.... I could really use some heavyweight champions right now, couldn't I?
Shawn Michaels

http://www.derok.net/derek3/images/classics/wwf%20shawn%20michaels.jpg

The most charismatic WWF Champion of the last fifteen years. This man single-handedly kept the WWE alive from 1995-1997. Without HBK, the WWE would have been in dire trouble. I think we're aware of his contributions to the wrestling world, and the fact that he is the best worker of his era. He was one of the most charismatic champions you'll ever find, and is highly deserving of the retirement treatment. We've all heard that Wrestlemania 26 might be his last one, and while the same thing may be said about The Undertaker, if push comes to shove, I think Taker will stay around for another year, while HBK hangs it up. I do reserve the right, however, to take out Shawn, and place the Undertaker into the HOF. However, I really do feel this is Shawn's last go, and that Taker has one last run left in him. Shawn has stayed so loyal to Vince, and this is only fitting for him to get his time in the sun.

The Macho Man Randy Savage: Vince needs to put that beef behind him. I know your all thinking if one of your employees/co-workers slept with your daughter you'd never forgive them too. Did Savage rape her? Not likely. I mean she's married to another employee. I'm surprised that McMahon's sadistic ass didn't make a storyline out of this.(If there is a lot more to the story I don't know can somebody please fill me in) I don't know I think Savage is well overdue and it would be good for business and the legitimacy of the Hall of Fame.

Road Warriors/Legion Of Doom: Definitely very deserving as one of the most revolutionary Tag Teams.

Four Horsemen: I love this idea for an induction as they are truly a trendsetting stable. Yeah it's a ton of people inducted at once but is Vince really going to induct Tully, Arn, Barry, and JJ seperately. Yeah I know Ole deserves credit but the Horsemen I loved was the Flair, Blanchard, Windham, and Arn Anderson.

Owen Hart: Hopefully his wife can do this and think to herself I'm doing this so that my husband can be recognized for his contributions to the business, not for vince to make a dollar. Cause Owen truly does deserve the recognition(and how many people would love to play him in a video game?).

Once again those are a lot of big names at once but those are who I think are deserving.

1. The Rock simply because he is the Rock, and isn't coming back. He should come back when they announce he is being inducted and feud with Cena up until Wrestlemania.

2. Trish Stratus has held the Women's title more than any other wrestler, and is argueably the greatest woman to ever set foot in the ring.

3. Lita is at that same level that Trish is at, and has even gone to the point to have great matches with male wrestlers. Also, her success with the Hardy Boyz furthers her accomplishments.

4. Owen Hart died for the purpose of putting on a show for the WWE. He held every title except the big one, and comes from a family of legends.

5. "Macho Man" Randy Savage is one of the greatest of all time, and has put on some great matches. Also, next year would be a good time, due to the release of his DVD.

6. Legion of Doom is one of the greatest tag teams ever, and is long overdue.

Im new here but have been a long time fan of wrestling in general. I think putting Koko.B.Ware in the H.O.F before Macho Man and Million Dollar Man is plain ol' retarted. Hell the bird that Koko had should've been in before him. If the WWE keeps this up we will see the likes of Virgil, the Repo Man and Zeus get in before other well deserved wrestlers. With that said, Macho Man and the Million Dollar Man should go in. Sid Vicious or Justice or psycho Sid, whatever the hell he calls himself should go in there as well.

My picks:

Both British Bulldogs-they had great solo careers bolstered by a successful tag team run.
Unlikely but more than deserving-Sammartino, Savage, Owen
A candidate who may be worth looking at the career of-Jacques Rougeau. Contributed a lot to the sport, great technical wrestler, great on the mic when he got the rare opportunity, made the Mountie gimmick work, and gets a kayfabe boost from cleanly pinning the Hulkster.
