Morrison vs. Shelton has been added to Judgement Day. The time to find out what the crowd really thinks of JoMo is now. No piped cheers, no make believe.

Let's now use this knowledge to the extreme and talk about how exposed the man could become.

I kid. So how over do you think JoMo is?

Surprisingly. I honestly don't think those cheers were pre-recorded. Otherwise, how do you explain Ziggler? If they were, they were apparently recorded from Shawn Michaels/Steve Austin, King of the Ring.

I think last night he was pretty hot (as in over... also, did you see those abs?). His one-on-one with Haas, on the other hand, I think was a little dicey. But a few more reactions like last nights, and on his own one of these days, and I'll be willing to say he's plenty over.

He was wrestling the one man heat destroyer Charlie Haas. Hulk Hogan couldn't get a reaction from that. All I do know is the biggest pop of the night was when Morrison posed to the crowd just off-camera.

I caught that! Punk's in the ring with one of the overrated dopes and suddenly you hear this high pitched squeel... Jesus Christ that was awesome. And to think people are saying Miz drew all the heat in their team. Not sure about pop of the night, but Morrison had some magic there.

Morrison wasn't exactly hot versus Jericho, either, IMO.

And don't take any of this wrong. I want Morrison to succeed alot. I'm just not sure where he's at yet.

We'll see at Judgment Day.

we will indeed. Pity he's wrestling Benjamin and not Jericho. Never mind, can't wait anyway.

But yeah, I'm more excited for Judgment Day than I have been for any pay-per-view for a long time. No idea why.

'Cause it's stacked and you don't have the obvious kill-joys like Trips, Michaels, and Taker killing time and getting obvious wins. When the card is stacked without those three guys, things are going pretty well.

The card looks good on paper, I think it'll be the most predictable card of all time. Or at the very least, the most predictable card in May.

That's not fair, Jake. TNA wins automatically because their booking makes no sense.

It's that air of unpredictability that makes it the second best promotion in North America.

This match seems pretty pointless to me. I mean it'll be good to see them show off their skills, but what is the reasoning behind the booking of this? (Sorry i haven't wathed SD! in yonks)

They don't like each other. Stems from 2006 when they were feuding over the IC title with Carlito. Or it should, in an ideal world.

Shelton Bejamin has skills? Oh, that's right... Pure athlete = good wrestler. Right.

I hope this is the end of this so that Morrison can move on to better things. Like Mike Knox or Ricky Ortiz.

Wrestling is the purest of all the predetermined sports. Apart from Italian football that is.

I think part of the reason Morrison isn't exactly over as a face yet is because of how they did his transition. One week, he wrestles Evan Bourne and acts like a complete heel, defeating him. The next week, he wrestles and beats R-Truth like a heel. Then, suddenly, he's a face with no real crossover. No face promo to cut, no "feud" outside of the fact that he and Benjamin are facing each other a lot - but there's no story behind it - and so forth. And then he wrestled Haas, who, last seen, was a jobber face, so that's a bit tough. Naturally, teaming up with Punk helped him, since Punk is over as a face and this helped the audience figure out that they're supposed to cheer Morrison now.

I'm a big fan of Morrison and Shelton and I really hope that they pull out the match of the night and really get the crowd into their match, and walk out of it significantly over with the fans as a face and heel respectively.

I think its gonna look great, JoMo and Shelton Benjamin really worked the crowd on smackdown, it really helped their match and IMO i think they are gonna steal the show come Judgement day

Is this the match where shawn helped a mentally disabled kid from the ring? He was so nice in the 90's :icon_rolleyes:

Who cares? He hasn't even been a face that long and he's facing Shelton Benjamin. I laugh at people thinking wrestlers should get large pops in such a short time into a turn, especially when the turns were booked horribly by creative like Morrison's was.

He's not going to get many cheers on Sunday, I can already tell you that. But give it time. It's tough for wrestlers not named John Cena, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, and The Undertaker to consistently get pops. The crowds nowadays are pure shit when it comes to that.

Don't tell that to the people who are already complaining.

He wasn't that over on last weeks SD, he got silence mostly.
But this week has pushed him to true face status due to his association with Punk. Morrison came out first thing on SD and people were like "yeah, it's him, meh...." But then Punk turned out to be his hand picked tag team partner and people were like "Hell Yeah!" and popped for everything he did in the match after that.

I think he'll get a good pop tonight, while Shelton will get a mild scattering of boos when he makes his way out then get cheered like hell when he does whatever crazy, athletic spot you all know he has lined up for this match.

Morrison will be fine it takes time to get over as a face. he just needs a couple of high feuds to get him going. this match will be spot monkey wild. count on both of these guys giving it there all.
