Less than 15 minutes.
The matches are ready to be selected, and I for one can't wait.

Boss, for the sake of simplicity for me could you list the match and then I'll put in the gimmick?
Esteban Ochocinco
05-15-2009, 04:53 PM
So how this will work is I will write in the name of a randomly selected Match, and KB will then come behind me and edit in a randomly selected gimmick match. We will do this every five minutes until all are revealed.

Match #3 will be a Pure Wrestling Match, which is an ROH specialty. Shocky will give you the rules that you will see in place as........
Sting faces Eddie Guerrero!
Damn that could be epic.
Esteban Ochocinco
05-15-2009, 05:19 PM
1. RVD vs. Savage: Ultimate Submission
2. The Rock vs. Kane: Stretcher Match
3. Sting vs. Eddie Guerrero: Pure Wrestling Match
Yeah, that's really interesting, and part of me says advantage Guerrero.
Essentially it's no closed fist to the face, you only have 3 rope breaks the entire match, and you have a 20 second count outside of the ring. Should be a good one.
Uncle Sam
05-15-2009, 05:20 PM
Gonna have to go with Guerrero in a Pure Wrestling Match.
The three Pure Wrestling Rules are:
1. Each wrestler has three rope breaks to stop submission holds and pinfalls during the match. After a wrestler exhausts his rope breaks, submission and pin attempts under the ropes by the opponent are considered legal.
2. There are no closed-fist punches to the face allowed in a Pure match, only open-handed slaps or chops to the face are allowed. Punches to other parts of the body (save for low-blows) are permitted. The first use of a closed fist will get a warning, and the second will cause the wrestler to be penalized a rope break. If he is already out of rope breaks, he will be disqualified.
3. A wrestler is subject to a twenty count by the referee if the wrestler goes to the floor.
Edit: Actually...
Esteban Ochocinco
05-15-2009, 05:20 PM
The thing is though, could Guerrero lock the Laso from El Paso on Sting enough times to have him exhaust his rope breaks. Sting is a striker though, and that severly negates his gameplan.

05-15-2009, 05:21 PM

Those that will wrestle without a gimmick are.........
Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Brock Lesnar!

ECW: ECW Arena
Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Brock Lesnar: Regular Wrestling Match
TNA: Impact Zone
Randy Savage vs. Rob Van Dam: Ultimate Submission Match.
Brock vs. Liger is now a non extreme match in the ECW Arena. Either way, I can't see that helping Liger out at all. He can't use any weapons on Brock, he's dead.

Prison Rape - a great turn of phrase.
Esteban Ochocinco
05-15-2009, 05:36 PM
As it stands right now, it's just a regular wrestling match, minus the extreme rules. However, that is not set in stone since we could have a "House Rules" clause applied to it.
Liger getting no gimmicks to help against Lesnar is a real bad draw for him.
Tastycles
05-15-2009, 05:37 PM
Object on a pole could favour Muta I think. Angle weighs more, so he probably can't climb.

Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Brock Lesnar: Regular Wrestling Match
TNA: Impact Zone
Randy Savage vs. Rob Van Dam: Ultimate Submission Match.
Angle vs. Muta: Briefcase on a Pole. See, now this is interesting, because both guys are equally as fast in my eyes, and now Muta doesn't have to pin Angle in a match, very advantageous. I could see a Mist spit to the eyes of Angle, and Muta advancing.

Who is in the Lucky 7 Match? I'm glad you asked. Match #7 will be a Leather Strap Match, in which the two men will be attached at the wrists and must drag their opponent to all four corners of the ring, touching all four turnbuckles in succession.
The two men strapped together: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and The Rated R Superstar Edge!
Uncle Sam

Edge vs. Steamboat: Strap Match. Good match here, and it's a match that I think Steamboat can win. If Edge gets himself off of the strap, he's DQ'd like that. Edge only has 12 feet of room to maneuver against a guy that is going to come at him hard. Edge is a sneaky bastard, but I think he's met his match here.

Esteban Ochocinco
05-15-2009, 05:44 PM
Edge's entire character right now is based on being able to get away from his opponent, drive them nuts, and get the ultimate opportunity in. He's severly hampered with the limited amount of room he can work in this match.
Tastycles
05-15-2009, 05:44 PM

Undertaker has lost last man standing matches, not a foregone conclusion at all there.
A quick glance at Undertaker's highlights on OWW.com suggests that no, he has never lost a Last Man Standing match. I used ctrl+f and everything.
Bigelow defo wins. Flair bled in a promo a few weeks ago, he's got no chance against Bigelow, who's tats would cover ant blood that fluked an appearence.
Remember though, it's not first blood, Flair still needs to be pinned.

A dog collar match isn't about brutality. It's about leverage and tying your opponent up - two things AJ is better at in a six sided ring.
Gelgarin

This should have been a black tie brawl and chain match. We at wrestlezone have to do out bit to keep that gimmick alive.
Anyway, the vast majority of AJ's offence require distance between him and his opponent. He used the ropes and turn-buckles a lot, and with them taken away from him HHH has the obvious advantage. If someone can put up a decent argument I'll change sides on account of hating HHH... but for now, AJ looses.
Uncle Sam
05-15-2009, 06:20 PM
By the way, AJ also bested Rhino in a match where the two were chained together by the throat. It was a Dog Collar match, but they called it a "Motor City Chain Match" or some shit. I'm sure we can agree who had the strength, weight and brutality on his side there.
A dog collar match isn't about brutality. It's about leverage and tying your opponent up - two things AJ is better at in a six sided ring.
You don't think HHH is going to whip AJ's ear with that chain? And there's a decisive size advantage with Styles and the Game. It's a bloodbath with HHH winning it.

So onto some of the ones I missed.
Warrior vs. Foley. 2/3 falls. So long Foley, as Much as I love you, it's nearly impossible to beat the Warrior in one match, let alone 2 out of 3, can't see it happening.
Hogan vs. Davey Boy: I Quit Match. What a meh match. Again, a match surrounding submission wrestling without anyone known for their submission skills.
Goldberg vs. Benoit: For Whom the Bell Tolls Cage Match: If I understand this correctly, you have to escape the cage, and then ring the bell 3 times to end the match. I think Benoit has to be favored here. if there is someone just as intense and crazy as goldbeg, it's Benoit. Plus, Goldberg just doesn't strike me as a guy with cat like reflexes to get out of the cage quicker then benoit.
AJ Styles vs. Triple H: Dog Collar: If there is an argument, I'll listen to it for Styles. However, on paper it looks like It's the Games match to lose.
Steiner vs. Jericho: House of fun: Easily STeiner here. Jericho never has impressed me with his hardcore abilities, while I vividly remember Steiner choking out Goldberg with a steel pipe while locked into the Steiner Recliner.
