I just put on the ECW: Extreme Rules DVD, and the first match is Cactus Jack v. Sandman w/ Woman for the ECW Title.

I've seen Benoit a thousand times in matches since he's died, but for some reason, seeing Woman is surreal.

I guess it's because she faded out of the limelight shortly after Benoit left for WWF. And, as far as I know, there aren't too many matches available on DVD where she is a valet.

I guess they just included this match because they figured no one would realize that she was Nancy.

This DVD is a few years old. Came out right after the new ECW started. Mid-06 I believe. She was still alive, so I don't think there was a problem with putting them on DVDs. It's just odd seeing her.

Woman doesn't get enough credit for how great of a heel she was. I mean, she had some of the greatest promos a woman has ever had in the business, and the fact is... she just looked plain evil. And she knew how to play off that look so well. She was truly one of a kind.

And if anyone has the Rise & Fall of ECW, put in the second disc and watch Sandman vs. Mikey. And see how when Austin grabs Woman and puts her over his shoulder, how about four fans slap her ass when Austin is walking towards the curtain. I lol'd the first time I noticed it, and it's just a fun moment.

But yeah... don't feel awkward whenever you see Woman, just enjoy the show she put on. If, you know, Katey Sagal had a tragic death, I'm sure you all would still be able to enjoy Married... with Children. The same should apply to wrestlers.
