The Hostile Takeover when it was just Hogan and The Outsiders would have to be up there, but the most memorable moment in my opinion would have to be when Austin paged The Rock with 3:16. That was hilarious especially the way The Rock sold the page like he didn't know what it was. Classic. Not really a full storyline but my most memorable moment for sure

mine would have to be the undertaker/kane/austin/mcmahon storyline of late 98 with mcmahon creating a "master plan" to rid austin of the wwf title.
also the mega powers colliding leading up to WM5.

Eugene joining evolution and becoming gm. I remember it clearly as he jumped around in the inflatable house. EUGENE WAS AWESOME!

My favourite gimmick of all time would be between a few:
Mankind will always be up there for me. Especially lately watching some of his match's again and his promo's were always outstanding. You watch the promo (not sure when it was) leading up to his match against Undertaker in Hell in a Cell. He sells it awesome and really used to freak me out.
The Undertaker is also one gimmick I'll always hold as a big favourite. He was so scary as a kid and we all know how good his match's have always been. Such an awesome gimmick really and there will never be anything like it again.
Another favourite gimmick would be Edge & Christian's from the late 90's or early 00's. They were fucking hilarious and were such a good combination. There jokes and sunglasses with their great promo's and match's made for one great gimmick and team.
Now, storyline wise my favourites would have to be:
The Stone Cold v McMahon storyline will always be an awesome one to remember. Their whole feud was awesome, everyone could relate to wanting to punch their boss in the face HAHA.
Another great storyline/feud would have to be Stone Cold v The Rock. Nothing better than the 2 of them telling a great story. I don't think there ever has been such a great pair in wrestling. It would be hard to pick a better pair to feud.
Well, that's my 2 cents.

The year was 1991, the stage for the conclusion of this particular storyline was WrestleMania VII. Actually, the storyline began in 1990 on the Brother Love Show during a Jake the Snake interview. Newly turned heel Rick "the Model" Martel came out with his new cologne Arrogance and started spraying Jake's snake filled sack. Well, ol' Jake got aggravated by this and as he tried to stop Martel he got sprayed in the eyes with the manly perfume. Jake sold the spraying of the eyes perfectly and a few weeks later returned bandaged or wore sunglasses I think. Anyway he showed his eyes and they were fucked up, no pupils, he was blinded! This of course lead to one of the greatest matches in WrestleMania, check that, in WWE history - the Blindfold Match at WrestleMania VII when Jake would prevail. I think that's what's wrong with World Wrestling Entertainment today, we need more blindfold matches. Actually a great idea would be a PPV just dedicated strictly to Blindfold matches. Now I know nothing about TNA but by reading this site I've come to realize they have a PPV with every match in a cage, why not every match blindfolded. Oh how awesome would that be?!?:ass::ass:

The Austin/Triple H/Rikishi storyline was my favourite ever.
In the parts without Rikishi, it was amazing. It was the most emotionally involved I've ever been in an angle before. Austin getting run down, the revelation that it was Rikishi, Triple H's "you never saw it coming" promo. And of course, the awesome 3 stages of hell match they had to end the classic feud. Good stuff.

Gimmck:
McMahon's Stone Cold, American Badass Undertaker, Mankind when he wanted to be accepted by Mr. McMahon, The Loose Cannon Brian Pillman, The Rock & Sock Connection, The Dudley's and Bill Alfonso/RVD/Sabu.
Storyline:
The Invasion, DX vs. The Nation, anything involving Raven, When everyone thought Arn Anderson and Brian Pillman were teaming agains Flair.
Gimmick:
Probably Undertaker back in 1999. We all knew before 1999 that he was an evil dude but when he formed the Ministry of Darkness and tried to take over the WWE, he really showed himself out to be one sick, sick person. His whole look kinda changed, where he started where that hood to hide himself in darkness even more. It all added up and as an 8 year old kid who used to watch occassionally, he used to scare the crap out of me.
Storyline:
The WWF v.s The Alliance from 2001. That was truely an addictive storyline to watch. You just had to watch week in and week out to see who had the upper-hand. Plus with the constant switching between groups by a number of top superstars, and with the awesome winner take all Elimination match at Survivor Series, that capped out what I think is one of the most rememberable storylines in wrestling history.

My favorite was Kurt Angle vs. Undertaker. I laughed so hard when Angle came out on the moped and imitated the American Badass. Of course the Shockmaster is always classic as well.

I am more of a modern fan, so therefore i would have to go with John Cena Rapper Gimmick. He was excellent as a rapper and was very funny.

One of the most memorable and weird to me is the little mini movie shot for beach blast 93 . Sting and the bulldog playing volleyball on the beach with little kids. Then there boat gets blown up by a midget, hilarious.
Honorable mention goes to 2 cold scorpios WCW music video, that was horrible, yet somehow great.

One of my favorite moments was on Raw in 2002, a little after Rock won the Undisputed Title, Eddie Guerrero challenged him. And Rock easily put Eddie down and angered him. It was just so hilarious you can watch it yourself at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y92A5fQtzg0 but there is a lot better moments but this was very memorable.

My favorite storyline has got to be the entire Invasion storyline from 2001. From the shock of Booker T appearing in the WWF to Stone Cold getting pinned by The Rock at Survivor Series, that storyline kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Although a lot of people say the storyline sucked, I loved every minute of it. If you don't believe me, look at these two videos.

the invasion was cool, but i think the nWo in its heyday done it for me. the ministry vs corperation was also cool. another great gimmick people forget about is kronik. i know it was at a time when wcw was scraping the bottom of the barrell a little, but i loved it. may have something to do with the fact i got a t-shirt of theirs live at my first ever wrestling show, but who knows? lol.
perfect combination for a fued though was angle vs benoit vs jericho. all the in-ring talent anyone could ever want in one ring, plus jericho and angles charisma, and even benoits lack of. just perfect.
other honorable mentions go to money inc. vs megamaniacs, undertaker vs el gigante, bret hart vs yokozuna (yes wrestlemania ix probably my favorite ever, lol) andre the giant vs big john studd, legion of doom vs demolition, ultimate warrior vs hogan, earthquake vs hogan. build up to these fights were amazing.

I always used to laugh my ass off when The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase used to bribe people to come into the ring to do stupid tricks, pushups, etc. and then not give them any money... he was probably my favorite gimmick, to the extent where I would always play as him on the classic NES Wrestlemania game... only to get my butt kicked by my friend who always chose Andre or Hogan. I am still waiting for the moment when he comes back and christens DiBiase Jr. with the Million Dollar Belt! All in all, a GREAT gimmick. As much as DiBiase holds up though, the funny thing is that I always thought Skinner was a pretty cool gimmick when I was a kid too...

i loved the debut of Mankind. those promos were truly haunting. the way he'd let his tone of voice go from low to high so sporadically and the pulling of the hair and the outfit.. i knew who Cactus Jack was but i could not believe this...when he first gave the mandible claw to the Undertaker(on raw if im not mistake) and he foamed at the mouth i was :gasp:
also the lead up to the debut of Kane as well...that one had me going, the whole guilt trip on Taker and how Paul Bearer was trying to expose what he did. it was a dope storyline..i missed the whole unmasking but man did Kane get some great laser surgery to get rid of his burns hahaha... i saw a clip on youtube of him as a member of DX? saying suck it thru the vocal thing he used to use when he had the mask....appauled..all i can say hahaha...bring the mask back, some big dude in black pants doesnt scare me, the mask and cheesy outfit and greesy hair was menacing

ive been saying that Dibiase Jr needs to bring out a gimmick of "The Heir Apparent" where he's basically the new incarnation of his dad, just in the form of say a male wrestling paris hilton..if he doesnt do this in some way, i dont really see his future as a name in the industry, right now he's a jobber to the stars..whoever wrestles Randy at the PPV gets Ted a few wks before to prove a point

That is hard. WWF v. The WCW/ECW Alliance was actually pretty good and I enjoyed it. The Un-Americans, the only reason I say this is cause it was so awesome when Kane came back and whipped there asses, I watched that clip a million times. Tons of othere I can't think of right now.

My most memorable storyline that I've seen from start to finsih had to be Austin/McMahon/Invasion of 2001. This storyline played out for nearly the whole year, in my opinion from the very night after No Way Out when the Austin/Rock III match was confirmed I was on the edge of my seat, then when Austin sided with Vince at mania I went crazy and marked out because I never saw it coming. The two man power trip was awesome beyond belief as I never thought those two would ever be on the same page especially after the Three stages of hell at No Way Out. Then all through the Invasion I loved every aspect of that angle, even though some people may say it was not played out correctly, to me it was still memorable and one of the best years of wrestling I've seen since I started watching it in 1996.

The nWo comeback in 2002 was one that always stands out to me. I grew up watching wrestling in the 90s and never would have thought Id see Hall, Nash and Hogan back in a WWE ring. McMahons had good vignetes to of him looking in mirror "Im gonna inject the WWE with a lethal dose of poison". Hogans build up and match with The Rock were some of greatest moments in wrestling history.

One of the funniest things I have ever seen was when Roddy Piper pulled the prosthetic leg off Zach Gowen. Piper sold it to the point he should of gotten an academy award. It was HILARIOUS to see Roddy Piper standing there looking at Mark Jindrak as if to say "Um..now what do I do with this?" and Jindrak's return look of "Dude, your on your own..."
I would also like to let the world know that I have not forgot the name of ssssssss GOLDDUST!!!!!!!!

the most memorable storyline in my eyes has to be the invasion angle.
what it to the wrestling business changed everything. even though change wasnt for the best, the aftermath of the invasion had a huge effect on modern wrestling.
the wwe no longer had to raise the bar as all realistic competition was gone.
a huge roster left the wwe to change their programming giving raw and smackdown seperate rosters and elevating wrestlers who didnt have a chance (in which i mean because of the long list of main eventers at the time, there wasnt much space to squeeze higher mid carders in the main event) of getting to the top at the time such as edge, christian, benoit, guerrero and van dam.
the invasion lasted too long and drove many fans away from wrestling, many getting bored off the initial excitment of wcw v wwf rivarly, and eventually tuned off.
the invasion though had its good points in bringing in other superstars from wcw and with no competition they found it easier to bring in bigger stars wcw mght have snapped up before them if they had still been around.
the storyline itself mainly revolved around austins allignment with wcw, who he joined after turning his back on the wwf. austins main rival during the invasion was with kurt angle, whom famusly sprayed the alliance with milk, a' la stone cold steve austins beer bath on the mcmahons.
the other main rivalry was vince's rivarly with steph/shane ended with the 5v5 S.S match in which the wwf won.
and the honorable mention goes to edge vs christian when christian finally split with his brother and the two had several great matches together.

my favourite even though short lived was sean o'haire. the devils advocate gimick was so good but then wwe had to ruin by making him a henchman for roddy piper. to me it could have been the start of an sean o'haire shawn micheals feud with o'haire representing the dark and Micheals representing the light
hell i'm not telling you anything you don't already know

I'm guessing everyone started watching in 2001 or after, because the Invasion angle sucked worse than a Matt Hardy vs. Miz main event. WWE vs WCW low/midcard with ECW wrestlers that defected a year prior to WWE? ANYWAY...
Memorable storyline... Sting and Hogan. If anyone was around during the Monday Night Wars, this was THE Feud before Austin/McMahon took off. Hogan wanted Sting unless Sting was in the building, then he did his best to jump him and beat his ass. Sting flies in from the rafters, successfully lands and clears the entire WWEjects and midcard nobodies with a baseball bat without saying a word. A single word folks. This man said NOTHING for nearly two years and was the biggest face in the company because of it. I think this proves mic skills are irrelevant as long as you have the charisma. Oh, the good ol' days.

Gimmick? I guess I would say Goldberg. The VERY first match that I saw just happened to be the Hogan v Goldberg match on Nitro in 98. I was like eight years old and I saw Goldberg just pillage through Hogan. I didn't realize how bad of a match it was until later on, but I was thinking that it was epic and that Goldberg was a super hero of some kind. So I would have to say the most MEMORABLE gimmick would have to be Goldberg because in essence he introduced me to wrestling and was someone I cheered for.

OMG, that was the very moment that I finally accepted the fact that what everyone had been telling me for years was true...wrestling was fake
For me, it would have to be Savage/Steamboat. This was the storyline that got me involved in wrestling to begin with. When Savage "crushed" Steamboat's larynx with the ring bell, I was terrified. Then, watching Steamboat come out of the crowd to save George "The Animal" Steele from suffering the same fate...I was hooked.
Oh yeah, there was also that amazing WCW storyline where they pretended that Vince McMahon bought the company. They went so far to sell it that they even took Nitro and Thunder off the air. But seriously, after eight years, its getting kind of stale. I mean, its just a storyline. It's not like it could ever really happ...
Oh hell...
