Physique.

I mean compare him to Cena. They are the same height, but Christian looks downright scrawny in comparison. And its because of his traps and neck being unimpressive.
Seriously that's it.
If Christian got bigger traps and a thicker neck, he'd be a main eventer.
edit: dammit. Two whys in my title. Would someone mind fixing that?

If Jeff Hardy can be a main eventer then so can Christian.

Christian isn't a main eventer because he stinks. It isn't his built, it is because he stinks. Christian is 6'2 230+. He is basically the same size as Bret Hart, and roughly the same size as HBK and they turned out alright

Jeff Hardy has the emos on his side. His situation is entirely different. :icon_razz:
Besides that Jeff is equally scrawny all around. Christian just looks odd and disproportionate. lol.

I'm not talking about overall weight. I'm talking about overall LOOK.
Neither Bret nor Shawn had the disproportionately scrawny neck and shoulders (as far as wrestlers go anyway.) that Christian does.
Hell, Michaels today still has a more impressive physique than Christian does.
It's probably because he says why twice.

Speaking of which, mind fixing that for me?
I know the context of your witty joke would then be gone but help a brother out. :)

Doubled up "why" is fixed now.
Christian's physique may be one thing that is holding him back, because I'll admit, the guy does look a little odd. Granted, I don't think anybody could say he "out of shape" or anything, but is it just me or has anybody else noticed that his legs seem a little too long for his torso? Kind of looks like he should be a little shorter to me, which would probably hurt his chances of a push even more so lol. I think the main two things that could be holding him back now, though, are firstly that he jumped ship, so they might want to put a push for him to a halt as punishment, and 2, because Vince just might not think he's that amazing. Christian's definitely an entertaining performer, and I've enjoyed everything he's done so far since his return, but I couldn't see the guy being "the face of the WWE" for the most part. Main event star, sure, but not someone who is entrusted to carry an entire brand on their shoulders like Cena or Edge.

Lol NoFate posted alot for a spam zone. Anyways he will be a main eventer. I believe that was one of the things WWE said to bring him back.

Habit, lol.
Most likely, when he was discussing his new deal, they probably talked about his expectations for returning. I know if I were him, I'd want it put in the contract that I would be guaranteed a main event spot and a title reign within X amount of time before I would leave my current job. Look what happened with Chris Harris. Although, with that case, you surely have to acknowledge that gaining a bunch of weight and wrestling like crap wasn't what WWE was looking for in their part of the bargain haha. That's why I wasn't too surprised when he showed up on ECW, because I figured that would be their way of giving him a pseudo-world championship but testing the waters at the same time.
Damn. Did it again.

I don't understand it. I mean, just look at his Jericho fued in '04. It was awesome. Their WM match was one of the best of the night imo. It wasn't carried by Y2J either, Christian held his own very, very, well. Back in the day, i actually preferred Christian to Edge in almost every regard.
I doubt that he could do the 'psychotic ultimate opportunist' bit anywhere near as good as Edge does, but i still believe he could be just as successful in the ME scene.

Good call on his legs, I didn't mention it because it just would have sounded...odd...but now that you said so I'm in the clear. Heh. His legs are quite scrawny yes, and the pants he wears can't be helping the situation. He basically has the opposite deal of Orton.
So in conclusion it has to be the scrawny neck and shoulders (the picture I posted is actually one of his better, more flattering ones) and oddly long scrawny legs. He's not winning MITB sadly, that's for sure.

HES NOT WINNNG MITB because vince mcmahon is not going to let him. atleast thats what this site has been saying, that christian isn't main eventer quality. if that is true, then the man should have stayed in TNA.

TNA weren't putting him in the main event either, after the inital push.
Anway he probably gets more money in WWE as a midcarder than he was getting in TNA as a "Main Event"
But it is a shame, Christian may not be beafed up like a Batista but he makes up for it with 100% more charisma. Captain Charisma, it's not just a catch phrase to sell some t-shirts. He was the best on the mic in Team E&C but Edge got the push cause he had the "Look", it's no secret Vince doesn't like smaller guys, that's always been the case, he's put up with people under 250 pounds when it was 100% gonna benefit ratings, but as soon as people seemed to lost interest those guys were dumped like a bad habit..
Yet your Batista's, Snitsky's, Khali's were shoved down our throats.
Thats just my opinion.

that's pretty silly if it's true as Christian is far and away the most over person and most legit main eventer in the MITB match this year.
If Christian doesn't win the MITB this year then I'll cry. He's a fantastic wrestler. Better than the other wrestlers in the match.

Not really. You don't see MVP on ECW.
He's a fantastic wrestler.
Fantastic? Hyperbole.

He prolly will be a main eventer, He has charisma, And a solid fan base, Which pretty much all of the ME's had before becoming a ME.
Am I the only one disappointed with the MitB match this year? Kane is fair enough, But Mark Henry in a fucking ladder match?

Mark Henry doing a small ladder based bump will be more impressive than whatever Shelton will do this year.
Although I'd have had Kozlov instead of him. He's had a solid enough push, before the past month that is, that people could think he might win.

I heard Mark Henry was there in place of R-Truth, what happened there? At least R-Truth would do a decent ladder spot!
If Mark does any flying off the ladder, there better not be anyone underneath him!

The fucking earth shakes when he does a splash on someone, Mark Henry will be saying hello to the chinese if he fall's off the ladder.

Christian looks like a giant turd.
He manages to be tall and lanky but still have a dirty gut..
His hands are gigantic in comparison to his arms
And he is a balding ginger

the fact that mark henry is in the MITB doesn't speak well on MITB this year.
