So we all know as wrestling fans, and people with common-sense, that even though The Undertaker is the Phenom, his health is not as good as it used to be, and he has injuries and all sorts or other things wrong with him.

So knowing this, in what direction do you think the Phenoms career will go from here?
When will he retire?
Who will his last match be against?
How much longer will he be in the WWE?

Just questions like this and such, just your opinion on whats ahead for the Phenom.

I Think the dead man has 2 more wrestlemanias in him. and then mania 27 he faces Kane, who shows some resurgence, in a casket match, he wins buries Kaneq, 19-0, then goes in to a different casket and ion fact buries himself alive. he will not lose his last match, or lose a match at mania ever.

Have The Deadman go an Even 20-0 at WM28 against Kane in a Casket Match. After putting his Bro in The Casket & winning the Match, Taker gets down on 1 Knee to salute His Minions when The Lights go out. After they go out, we here 1 of Taker's Chants followed by REST IN PEACE. When The Lights come back on, The Undertaker Is No More !

Yeah, I see a good two years left for him. And as for last oppoment I have a strong feeling, if his career goes decently, it will be against Ted Dibiase jr. Seems perfect, why would he fight Kane? What kind send off it that? Why does Kane deserve it? Because he's his "brother"? And why Shawn? Because he was Flair last match? Pfft, dumb reason. Plus they're already fighting this year at WM is would be pretty dumb if they did it again for Takers last match, it would overshadow this match at WM. Plus I think Shawn doesn't have much longer himself.

The reasons I think it will be Dibiase are: 1) His father first brang Taker in as part of the Million Dollar Team. It would be fitting if his son takes him out. 2) They REALLY should build a young talent off of this, thats the way of the business. Young Lion vs Old Lion. And if Dibiase has shown good quality matches by then, why not?

If the WWE writers had any sense they'd do this.

I like the Buried Alive idea with Kane, kudos for the original thinking.

I think it shouldn't be about who goes over, but someone who would lose momentum or heart if they lost, but also the idea that they had the honour to be the Undertaker's final opponent.

I did a thread in the Smackdown section about whether he would retire at 20 years or 20-0. One takes three years from now, the other a year and a half.

It really does depend on how long his body keeps him going.

For some reason, I'm thinking back to the Royal Rumble match where Taker rose up from the screen and casket where his gimmick rehaul came from. If WWE were to pull anything, what if they were to get Undertaker gone, but they did a story of his "spirit" passing down to someone, forming a Taker V2 in some form. I just can't see WWE going on without an Undertaker type of character, but it won't be as big as Mark cause of the Legacy he carries already!

It's sad to think that the last time we see Undertaker on WWE tv will be in a casket...
For all his loyalty throughtout the years, his great matches, his memorable moments, he deserves a Ric Flair send off. A match with someone who's as good as he is and who respects him greatly and is possibly a friend of his. And it should be at Wrestlemania.

Now I know that won't happen due to his gimmick, but we'll see.
As for his actual last match... I want to say HBK, but we don't want him retiring yet another legend. So I'm thinking of a passing the torch style thing. I want to say Orton, but with Orton's rep as the Legend Killer, that wouldn't be very classy.
It could be Kane. But Kane can't really put on a good match anymore. And Kane might even be retired before Taker.
So I'm going to say... Chris Jericho. They respect each other very much and it would be a great match. With Jericho challenging Taker, Taker accepting, and then for the weeks leading up to the match, Jericho cuts promos on how he will do what many others have tried and failed to do; make the Undertaker rest in peace for good.
Undertaker will try play mind games, but Jericho won't be affected and will start saying Taker is losing his touch. Then on the last week before Mania, Taker's mind games finally scare the hell out of Jericho and the end shot of whatever show is Jericho, petrified, looking up at Taker from the floor.
But that's just my idea, make of it what you will.

Ted Dibiase jr. is a well thought out solution, but taker is not going to lose at wrestlemania ever, if u r going to end his career at summerslam you can use it to push a talent like Ted, who will be rolling in to his upcoming years to stardom. but also a gimmick quite like taker has never entered the wwe hall of fame, do you think he can really bury himself or get buried alive, then 2 3 years down the road show up and get inducted, just a different idea that i pondered today, has a real gimmick like his made the hall of fame?
