Goldberg vs. Scott Hall

so i sat back and actually watched this match for the very first time since watching it live in 98. i realized several things in this match. i noticed that goldberg wrestled another match that night (beating hogan for the world title). i also noticed just how much of a walking botch goldberg was at this time (i don't know if he EVER improved as a wrestler after this) he botched hall poking him in the eyes (how do u botch that?) botches a clothesline, and instead takes down hall and starts choking him, and botches more etc. i also realized no matter how bad goldberg was in the ring ppl were cheering for him! the crowd went nuts when goldberg pinned hall in this terrible match. 10 years ago i thought this match was good, but boy was i wrong.

I never understood all the criticism Goldberg got, I enjoyed most of his matches, his gimmick was to no sell everything and destroy his opponents with power moves, and he done that and got over huge, unlike a guy like Kozlov, who does the same thing and gets boring chants because he has no intensity or charisma.

This was a good match, probably Hall's best in WCW.
