The following announcement was made and submitted from the desk of the Secretary of Vance Bateman, Head of the WZCW Board of Directors:
It has been determined that the Elite X Title shall no longer be decided in a Triple Threat match, rather it will be determined in a Four Corners Elimination matchup, whose contestants will be set during the battle royale during this week's meltdown. Mr. Bateman has come to this decision simply because he has the authority to do so and that he has never been a very big fan of the number three. If any further changes are made, we will notify you immediately.
