I've recently checked out all of Randy Orton's promo's and what i've noticed is that he puts a lot of intensity and real emotion in his promo's. Something other superstars of today lack overall. He is able to tell a storyline with complete control, doesn't stutter, and when you watch him you even forget wrestling is fake. His cold eyes and his manner of speach is just brilliant. Not to mention his superb wrestling skills.

So what do you people think? Discuss!

No, I just personally think he is a ass hole in real life so it's not really acting.

Orton's gotten better, no doubt, but I think the nod has to go to Jericho. He couldn't be more different than his current on-screen persona, but it comes to him easily and it flows naturally (albeit they need to start working on purchasing a thesaurus so he stops saying "hypocrite" lol). Some people are good at their promos, but they aren't necessarily ACTING, for instance HBK, HHH, and John Cena. Then you have the people like the Undertaker and Boogeyman who are technically portraying a character, but its very simple stuff and doesn't really require a wide range of emotion. And then you have people like Jeff who, God bless him, needs acting classes despite how he might be speaking from the heart lol. His problem is that he overacts and comes off desperate to get the point across.

Orton's been stepping up his game and he's leagues above what he used to be in the promo department, but I can't say he's the best actor right now in the WWE, since I think that goes to Jericho. Edge would be up there if he'd stop the "I'm angry so I'll put my hands on my face and rustle my hair" gesture that he seems to be bolted to the ground with.

As long as the character calls for a slow-talking monotonous snake character with little inflection in his voice, and an uncomfortableness playing a character, then yes, Orton is the best.

Otherwise, no.

Cena's got him skinned on the mic.
