I'm really starting to think it was a work on both sides to create hype. After reading both Bret and Shawn's books i'm starting to think they've pulled the wool over our eyes. Sometimes the Michaels/Hart feud just seems to ridiculous to be true. If it is a work, they're creative genius'.

Responding to the original post, I really dont think its a work. I could see how one might think that but with the way everybody seems to find out everything that does on in the business I think there would have been somebody that would have come clean about it being a work by now. I must admit though there was something I found strange or fishy about it. During the Pay Per view before the match they interviewed Vince and the guy asked Vince who was gonna win and Vince responded with "I dont know?". Now during the WWE's history I dont recall them ever interviewing Vince like that before a match or ever asking him that question. It just seemed really odd.
