Top 3 New Year's Resolutions for the WWE...

Some things need to be done in the WWE for the new year... Can you think of 3 that would make things better for 2009?

3) Let Santino have a decent feud with someone who's not a total tool...or old and decrepit...

2) John Cena becoming a heel... With his current status, becoming a heel would be funny as hell... Kids everywhere would be destroyed emotionally... Lets stir things up at school, eh?

#2 WWE to try and at least make MVP, Kennedy, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy & others into main event caliber wrestlers.

The ECW is already as credible as it'll get. It's a mid card title, but at least it's defended on most PPV's.

Here's my wish list for WWE in 2009:

1. Immediately move Maryse to Raw, and assuming her knee injury is not too significant, make her WWE Women's Champion ASAP. Have her voluntarily give up the Barbie belt, and move to Raw for an extended run as heel champion. Of course a new WWE Playboy shoot as WM25 approaches would have to happen. And likely someone would have to go to SD, possibly Mickie James.

2. End the Legacy group thing. While this may be a way to elevate some 2nd generation superstars, Orton is well beyond being associated with this motley crew. Manu, Snuka, just terrible, whatever their pedigree. Rhodes, OK, a returning DiBiase, OK, or some yet to be called up guys possibly. But this group can occur without Orton. Orton has finally reached his potential, as a heel where he belongs, can you ever remember someone as the type of heel he portrays getting so many cheers from the crowd? Which leads to my third point.

3. Heel turn by Cena at WM25. Let's face it, something huge needs to happen at such a historic WM. I don't see anything interesting on the horizon so far. You're dreaming if you think Hogan vs SCSA will ever happen as neither will ever, ever put the other over, and a DQ finish to such a match would be pointless. If done properly, a heel can still move a lot of merchandise and still be really over with the fans (see Orton above). What a shock to see, for example, Cena lose to whomever at WM25, and have him go ballistic and freak out and turn heel. Let's face it, there's limited star power in WWE right now, what else of tremendous interest could happen? JBL vs HBK? Yawn. HHH vs Edge? Double yawn.

Off topic, can anyone else think of any other possible storylines which could happen at WM25?

1. HBK to put Morrison over. By losing properly.
2. HHH to take more than one pin per year.
3. All the wrestling divas and those with talent to be moved to one brand, preferably RAW (Beth, Mickie, Melina, Natalya, Victoria, Maryse, Jillian and Kelly Squared) and all the eye candy and trash to be moved to another (preferably Smackdown: Eve, McStool, Candice, the Smella Twins, Maria). Layla I leave out as she's not actually wrestling. Good: keep her with Regal and arm her with a croquet mallet. Seriously, I'm not joking.
