1.) Rocky is the "american hero." From like 3-6 he battles foreign men. Hulk Hogan, Just remember the Sgt. Slaughter fued. He was the american hero.
2.) Rocky gets his tail-end kicked every single fight. Only to come back in the end, defying the odds. Hulk Hogan, sold, sold, sold, sold, and sold some more. Then Hulked up, pointed, body slammed, into the amazing leg drop. Only to defy the odds.
3.) Rocky, randomly gets a shot, wins to go on a two year reign as boxing champ. Hulk Hogan, randomly comes in, defeats the champ. And goes on a 4 year reign.
4.) Everyone loves Rocky Balboa. Everyone loves Hulk Hogan.
What I'm getting at here is. To this day, overcoming the odds. Defying all laws of physics. Hulking up. Still works. All because, Rocky is massively over. And so is/was Hulk Hogan.
