3. Natalya and Maryse defeated the Bella Twins with Kung Fu Naki as the guest referee in about eight minutes. The news here is that Maryse appeared to injure her knee badly.

The crowd was entirely dead for this. Nothing they did garnered reaction.
After a few minutes, a Bella twin tried to dropkick Maryse. I’m thinking her intent was to either miss entirely or possibly contact her thigh, but she instead landed square on the kneecap. It looked like a freak occurrence. Maryse shrieked loudly and collapsed to the mat. She laid there for a minute before a WWE official came around to check on her. He gave the X symbol and several trainers ran out. She stayed in the same position for the rest of the match.

The other three were scrambling around and trying to improvise the match during all of this. It was a huge mess and looked terrible. Natalya looked to end the match by taking a three count at one point, but Funaki just stopped his count before three for no reason even though she didn’t budge. She eventually used the Sharpshooter on one of the twins for the end.

Maryse probably laid there for at least another five minutes while the trainers looked at her. They eventually brought out a stretcher and carted her out instead of trying to have her walk.

Match started off pretty interesting. Maryse was into it and the crowd stayed pretty excited for a divas match. Natalya worked most of the match and Maryse came back in when this happened -
Bad luck for maryse. Match ended in an awkward sharpshooter. After the match we sat for quite awhile as EMTs, referees, and road agents stood around in the ring helping the divas champion. She was eventually carted off in the stretcher.

JR's new blog said that while Maryse is injured and will be taking some time off, she'll only miss about two weeks of SD so she's not giving up the title. THANK THE HEAVENS. This means that Maria vs Michelle can go on, Michelle can get some momentum behind her as a heel (and maybe find some personality while she's at it), and Maryse can heal her wounds and come back with a big impact. Maybe a run in. We'll see!

Yikesssss!!!! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been super busy. Anyways, here's a blog Maryse posted on her Myspace this past Monday.

Last week while performing in the ring in Raleigh, North Carolina i hit a bad move an dislocated my right knee cap. While backstage it took approximatly 35 to 40 minutes to replace it, my knee cap was completly out. No surgery will be needed. I would like to thank Dc. Martha Dodson and our special trainer Larry Heck to save my leg, they really did. Thank you sooo much!!! I want to let all my fans know that im doing great and doing rehabilitation every day in Los Angeles where i live. Im recovering really fast. Thanks for all the support !!!

While performing in the ring in Raleigh, North Carolina, I dislocated my beautiful right kneecap.
While backstage, it took approximately 35 to 40 minutes to get my kneecap back in place.My kneecap was completely out, stretching my perfect ligaments and tissues. Luckily, no surgery will be needed. I want to thank WWE's Dr. Martha Dodson and our Certified Athletic Trainer, Larry Heck for treating my flawless leg that night. They may have saved my career. I will never be able to thank them enough. Also, I want to let all my fans know that I'm doing great and doing rehabilitation every day in Los Angeles where I live when I'm in America. I'm recovering very quickly. Even the doctor said, "You are recovering so fast." My answer to him was, "I know. I can't help it. I'm perfect!" He couldn't agree with me more.

I will be back soon on the amazing night of entertainment that Friday Night Smackdown is and has always been.

I'm the new Divas Champion and I'm designing my brand new pink jacket to match my new title. I'm also very excited to give my number one fan, former Champion, Michelle McCool a title rematch.
