Yes, and I saw an average main event. One that was much worse than the Undertaker/Batista main event from the year before. Edge needs a gimmick to put on a great match.

When I think of great matches involving Edge, they are all gimmick matches. The guy is so overrated. Yes, he's a good heel. Yes, he's good on the mic. But yes, he isn't special in the ring unless involved in some type of gimmick match.

Edge vs Rey Mysterio - Royal Rumble and No Way Out - Average.
Edge vs Undertaker from Judgment Day - Average.
Edge vs Triple H from the Great American Bash - Average.

They are all his singles matches from 2008 on ppv not involving a gimmick, and not one of them was great. I think I proved my point.

I vaguely remember a trial, where Vince got in a ton of shit for practically his entire roster using steroids.

If it was OK for them, it shouldn't be a big deal now.

I'm not saying they were entirely devoid of talent, but they weren't all wizards in the ring (KoKo B. Ware?). Jake The Snake is probably the most famous, and he was one of the top mid-carders.

I don't have a problem with Jeff having the belt, unless he has another violation in the future. The rules are in place for a reason, for all the wrestlers. Let everything take it's course...
