Calling it now. Impact! draws a 1.3 this week.

Al Snow for the win FTW

I used to watch TNA religiously...almost more than WWE...

And the 2nd Week of the MEM was enough to make me not watch, and just follow the updates on WZ...

When I heard that Kurt's surprise was a former Foley tag partner, I couldn't think of anyone but Terry Funk...

Al Snow is definitely unexpected...But, I don't see how it could be great for TNA, unless he's going to do behind-the-scenes work, and not just make appearances in the ring...

Most irrational post ever?

It is decidedly so. :smashfreakB:

I'm not saying it won't be good...

I just don't see it being GREAT...

He wasn't/isn't/won't be a top tier star, but he can certainly be entertaining and put on a good match.

Unless he's doing backstage work, I don't see it making any difference to the show or ratings...

Dude. You must be forgetting that it is Al Snow.

That's right THE Al Snow.

I know who he is...

I loved Leif Cassidy, Head, The J.O.B. Squad...and oh yea! Pepper...

Ae you serious??? He had a few good matches in ECW, and maybe a handful of good matches in WWE, but he'll be remembered more for his gimmicks than anything he did as a wrestler in WWE...

I'm interested to see how TNA uses him on TV, but I think his best impact would be backstage with the younger guys, helping them through the storyline with MEM...

I think that this sets up a chance to bring in Al Snow as a heel commentator. The team of Tenay and West need a counter balance and Al Snow is just that man. He can serve as both an agent and an on air personality. I think that it's definitely an upgrade over having had Disco backstage as Al Snow also has experience as a trainer and a booker. It will be very interesting to see whether this was just a one time thing or whether they have bigger plans for him as he's not MEM material but definitely can still fit into the TNA heel scene.

Al Snow would best be used by TNA by putting the World Belt on him and giving him a Goldberg-esque winning streak, just with one exception. Al Snow's winning streak would never end.

Yeah, I fully expect TNA's ratings to "Spike" (hehe) by at least 3.0 because of this addition...

Yeah, per hour. What if he brings Head?

If this happened, they'd lose every viewer they ever had, except for you and KB obviously...

Who would buy Al Snow (even in his wildest dreams) beating the likes of Abyss, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner, Booker T? I'll even add in Petey Williams, Curry Man/Christopher Daniels, and Awesome Kong...

AJ Styles would Pele kick him and Head right into the front row...
