That's a weird foursome for Punk, but still, that's a great idea to have them feud and culminate it in a Survivor Series traditional elimination match.



As far as Jericho...THANK GOD. Man, I really hope that we get HBK/Y2J for the title as the main feud. I'd love to see both dominate the world title scene for a while (particularly because I'm waiting for another Shawn title reign).

I absolutley love that Jericho won the world title. But, what I love even more is that CMe Puke is no longer champion. I would have liked to have seen Puke get completely decimated and lose the belt bu t ultimately I'm just glad he lost it. They probably had to do the title change the way they did because Punk's such a prick he refused to do the job.

Owen Hart defeats Bret Hart in the opening match, and then Bret shakes off the loss and defeats Yokozuna for the WWF Title, setting up the Hart vs Hart feud to continue, involving the title? It worked then!

In this case, Jericho did it as a classic heel. You can still respect the fact that Jericho walked to the ring with massive injuries and had the presence of mind to win the WHC while his prior opponent, Shawn Michaels, was home bedding his fat-lipped wife. But he did it in heel fashion - sneak in last second and take advantage of the damage somebody else did.

I also want to bring up the fact that Michaels NEVER BEAT JERICHO at Unforgiven. The ref stopped it - in an unsanctioned match no less - and awared Michaels the win to stop the onslaught. There's no definitive way to know that Jericho wouldn't have somehow kicked out if Shawn went to pin him.

I didn't mind Punk as champ because I was just happy someone other than Randy Orton or John Cena was champ on RAW so it was a breath of fresh air to me. This however is beyond great. I love Jericho. He's one of my all time favorites and he definitely deserves to be the World Champion. This is definitely going to make things more interesting on RAW and shake things up even further. I hope he keeps the belt for a long time and I know someone suggested this Shawn/Jericho feud keep going until WM 25 it would be amazing to see Jericho and Michaels fight for the title at WM and end the feud. That probably won't happen but it would be great to see them have a title match too. Shawn can heel up for a bit and Jericho can feud with Punk which would be a good match or two. Have Jericho keep the title then beat Batista and move on from there. This is a great day in wrestling indeed. Way long overdue. I thought that if he didn't get at least one or two title reigns his whole comeback was a joke and at least they finally woke up and gave Jericho his much deserved title run. I'm going to be glued to my tv tonight to see what happens.

It's a grand day for the WWE. Now I'm not one who hated in CM Punk all the time, but I have to see I am ecstatic that Jericho is champ. There is no one in the company right now that deserves it more. He has had a great feud with HBK and has really evolved his character from the whining heel he used to be.
Aside from that, I think the champ will be the focus of the show again. With Punk/JBL constantly feuding they just couldn't focus on that with Batista, Cena, Jericho, Michaels, etc. on the program.
And third, this opens up the door for some great feuds such as Jericho/Punk and I could even see Jericho/Batista being good.

I'm pretty sure this only counts as 1 title because they unified the WWE and WCW into the Undisputed title. He only kept both of them while they were making a new title (I could be wrong though)

This is the way I see it. He was the WCW World Champion at No Mercy (First title), he was the WCW World Champion at Vengeance for a bout 20 minutes (That's his second title), WWF Undisputed Champion at Vengeance (Third title), and now from Unforgiven is his fourth title.

He only had the WCW belt by itself for a little while at Vengeance so why should those two titles only count as one?
